Purpose: This study aims to empirically analyze the effect of information sharing on the two dimensions of trust and logistics performance in the relationship between firms in the supply chain. Research design, data and methodology: In this study, information sharing is a variable for information competency of the entire supply chain. Moreover, we classified trust into quantitative and qualitative trust and analyzed the two paths through which information sharing reaches logistics performance. To examine these correlations, we conducted a survey among professionals in supply chain-related departments in South Korea. Based on 350 completed questionnaires, we tested the hypotheses with structural equation modeling using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. Results: We found that information sharing has a significant positive effect on trust and logistics performance, which is a typical index of supply chain performance. These results show that information itself is considered a partner to a firm's competencies in operating the supply chain and plays a major role in forming the other's competencies and trust for the present and future. Conclusions: As these competencies and trust consequentially affect logistics performance, supply chain managers must pay attention to the importance of information competency and consider ways of promoting it to improve logistics performance across the entire supply chain.

기업의 운영에서 안전한 생산 근로 환경은 중요한 요소이며, 공급 사슬 관리상의 물류기업에도 필수적이다. 본 연구는 대형 물류기업과 계약을 체결하여 거래관계를 지속하고 있는 국내 중소 물류기업의 관점에서, 안전 분위기와 안전 예방 활동이 안전 행동과 긍정적인 관계가 있음을 확인하였다. 아울러, 앞선 긍정적인 관계에 규제 불확실성과 경쟁 불확실성의 조절적인 역할도 실증적으로 살펴보았다.

본 연구는 물류기업을 대상으로 녹색물류기업 인증이 녹색물류성과에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하고, 그에 대한 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 녹색물류와 관련된 선행연구를 통해 물류성과, 환경성과, 자원성과 및 기업성과와 같은 성과 변수를 도출하고, 녹색물류기업 인증 기준과의 영향관계를 분석하였다. 물류기업 종사자를 대상으로 녹색물류기업 인증과 녹색물류성과의 관계에 대하여 설문조사를 실시하고, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰성분석 및 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였으며, 가설검증을 위해 구조방정식 모형분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 녹색물류 목표관리는 물류성과와 환경성과에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, 물류에너지 및 온실가스 산정은 물류성과, 환경성과 및 자원성과에 유의한 영향을 미쳤고, 녹색물류 효과관리는 기업성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 그러나 녹색물류 전환사업은 녹색물류성과라고 할 수 있는 물류성과, 환경성과, 자원성과 및 기업성과에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하였다.

The study examines the similarities of competitive strategy between fashion industry and high-tech industry through a case study of a Japanese maker. From the study, some implications are drawn for the Korean fashion industry. It is hoped that this, will help towards establishing a suitable competitive strategy for firms in this industry. In the fashion industry, the product life cycle is so short as to prompt a new product obsolete too quickly, and the extent of product differentiation is remarkably extensive compared to any other industry. Generally speaking, firms in this industry focus more of their resources on product development and marketing rattler than on production and they attempt to maneuver the speed when they are required to enhance their competitive edge. This is enabled through being, as one might expect, information- and technology- intensive as are high-tech industries. In this sense, that of the competitive strategy of a firm in fashion industry to be similar to high-tech industry. The Japanese firm Y has transformed itself a leading firm in fashion uniform segment. The firm could achieve this status by integrating each function needed for creating customer*s value, that is, product development, production and marketing within one Quick Response System. For this purpose, Y introduced a bundle of high-tech communication systems such as SPD, SDS, ATOM, NICS and so on. In this sense it can be said that Y was aware of what sort of competitive strategy was required in the industry. Implications for Korean firms is that, first, the magnitude of understanding the industry specific factors in establishing competitive strategy in the fashion industry, are speed, flexibility and systematic integration supported by high technology which are characteristic of high-tech industries. Secondly, as can be seen in the fact that Y emphasized logistics in its technological transformation, the significance of logistics control is a key to manipulating speed and flexibility in the industry. To sum up, those who have insight into above findings will be likely to keep their competitiveness in the industry not only in the Korean market but also in global market in the near future.

본 연구는 회수물류의 실행의 중요성이 강조되고 있는 가운데, 기업이 보유한 회수물류역량이 공급사슬상의 협력기업들 간의 관계에서 기업의 수익을 향상시키며, 나아가 협력기업들 간의 협력만족도에도 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 보이고자 한다. 회수물류역량에 관한 선행연구들에서는 주로 최종조립자와 소비자간의 관계에서만 회수물류의 중요성을 다루고 있을 뿐 공급사슬 상의 협력 기업들 간의 관계에서 회수물류역량의 역할에 대한 연구는 거의 이루어지지 않은 실정이다. 회수물류의 실행은 자산가치를 복구하는 효과와, 재활용을 통한 비용감소 효과 및 이를 통한 이윤의 극대화의 성과와 관계가 있다. 이러한 회수물류역량은 협력기업들 간의 수익에도 영향을 미칠 뿐 아니라 협력 기업들 간의 협력 만족도에도 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것으로 기대된다.

Logistics has become a key element in a shipping firm's overall strategy, now that the concept of logistics has expanded into one that is more comprehensive and integrated. furthermore, the global shipping market is the most competitive market in the world. In this environment, shipping firms are using Logistics Information Systems (LIS), which help them to save time and reduce costs. As such, LIS has become a critical part of Korea's attempts to develop Its national logistics system and industry. In this light, this study attempted to empirically determine the critical elements necessary for effective shipping LIS implementation and to then analyze how these elements are related to actual logistics performance within the shipping industry. The research results show that the sample firms considered the following factors to be most Important to an effective LIS: the support of top management; an efficient and well-structured communication channel; a solid strategic implementation plan; and a high level of information analysis internally. Other factors mentioned as being somewhat significant included MIS organization and human resources, MIS discipline and training, software development capabilities, MIS organizational alignment, database management systems information standardization, competitive advantage, financial support and government support The main problems with current shipping LIS include the expensive cost of systems, lack of standardized working processes, and weak organizational structures.

Horizontal cooperation is seen as an effective way to raise a competitive advantage in logistics and transportation. However, there are many logistics enterprises still operating individually instead of cooperating. This research aims to investigate the factors influencing the decision of horizontal cooperation by surveying a large sample of Vietnamese logistics companies. This study employs 161 logistics companies to examine correlations between potential factors and horizontal collaboration. The structural equation model (SEM) was used to test the conceptual model and the relationships among variables. The findings revealed that information sharing was the most important predictor of 161 supply chain providers' horizontal collaboration decisions, which resulted in increased profitability or service quality. Besides, trust in partners was found to be positively related to the degree of horizontal cooperation among logistics companies. Finally, the finding of this research is that reputation had a positive effect on the strategy of horizontal cooperation. Our findings suggest that SME managers should be concerened about their information sharing, their reputation as well as their trust in partners if they would be invited in cooperation with another firm to increase service quality, performance, and competitive advantage.

근래 물류정보시스템의 중요성은 특히 강조되어 지고 있으며 물류정보시스템의 활용도는 물류관리의 능력, 물류처리의 기술수준, 물류체계의 강화, 물류정책의 수행력과 같은 기업환경에 따라 달라질 수 있음을 보여준다. 따라서 회사의 물류정보 시스템의 활용도를 조사하기 위해 부산 경남지역에 소재한 상장, 등록, 외감법인 중 174개 제조업체와 유통업체를 대상범위로 한정시켰다. 다음은, 본 연구의 결론으로서 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사업의 특정종류에 따라 물류정보시스템 활용도는 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 제조업체와 유통업체들의 각 입장에서 볼 때, 물류정보시스템의 활용도에 대한 중요성은 쌍방업체간에 크게 다르지 않음을 나타내고 있다. 셋째, 물류시스템의 할용도는 물류관리능력을 가진 경영자의 유무에 따라 좌우될 수 있음을 보여준다. 넷째, 물류정보시스템의 활용도는 물류성과와 긍정적인 관계를 가지며, 또한 이러한 활용도는 단순한 물류비용 감소보다는 물류전문가로 하여금 고객들에게 보다 고급화된 서비스를 제공할 수 있음을 보여준다.

The study is conducted to find out the impact of the country- and corporate-level governance and firm internationalization on stock liquidity of 120 listed firms in Japan, Hong Kong, Pakistan, and India. Panel data is used in the current study. The annual time span covered in the current study is 10 years. The current study explores results based on secondary data. The findings of the 'robust panel corrected standard error' estimator shows that the internationalization strategy of firms positively influences the stock liquidity. The internationalization strategy of multinational corporations proves to be an effective methodology for improving stock liquidity in the home market as well as abroad. The study also shows that a stronger relationship exists between stock liquidity and internationalization in those countries where the regulatory settings are effective, the judiciary system is efficient and shareholders' rights are protected. Corporate governance and stock liquidity are negatively associated. The study also finds a negative relationship between country-level governance mechanisms and stock liquidity. Whereas the 'robust panel corrected error' estimator shows a positive association between corporate governance mechanisms and firm internationalization. The study depicts that effective corporate governance motivates multinational companies to expand their business abroad.

본 연구는 AEO 인증이 기업성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있을 것이며, 이로 인해 우리나라 기업이 국제경쟁력을 갖추기 위한 방안을 제시하기 위해 AEO 인증이 기업성과에 미치는 영향을 패널데이터를 이용하여 분석하였다. 변수간 내생성의 문제를 해결하는데 효율적인 Hausman-Taylor 추정법을 사용하여 AEO 인증이 기업성과에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, AEO 인증은 기업성과를 대표하는 주요 변수인 기업의 국내 매출액과 해외 매출액에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며, 특히 AEO 인증의 직접적인 혜택과 업무 프로세스 개선은 수출입 물류흐름을 향상시켜 매출액 증대에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 본 연구는 AEO 인증이 기업성과에 미치는 영향을 보다 효율적인 패널데이터를 이용하여 분석함으로써 우리나라의 AEO 인증 정책에 대한 해법을 제시하였다.
