본 논문에서는 얼굴 표정 인식을 위한 지역미세패턴(local micro pattern)의 하나인 LBP(Local Binary Pattern) 코드의 잡음에 대한 단점을 해결하기위하여 새로운 미세패턴 방법인 LDP(Local Directional Pattern)를 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 LBP의 문제점을 해결하기 위해 $m{\times}m$ 마스크를 이용하여 8개의 방향 성분을 구하고, 이를 크기에 따라서 정렬한 후 상위 k개를 선정하여 해당 방향을 나타내는 비트를 1로 설정한다. 그리고 8개의 방향 비트를 순차적으로 연결하여 최종 패턴 코드를 생성한다. 실험결과, 제안된 방법은 기존 방법에 비해 회전에 대한 영향이 적으며, 잡음에 대한 적응력이 현저히 높았다. 또한, 제안된 방법을 기반으로 얼굴의 영구적인 특징과 일시적인 특징을 함께 표현하는 새로운 지역미세패턴의 개발이 가능함을 확인하였다.

본 연구는 안성 로컬푸드에 대한 소비자 구매를 결정짓는 주요 요인을 발굴함으로써 향후 안성지역 푸드정책 수립 및 안성 로컬푸드 활성화를 위한 기초정보를 제공하고자 수행되었다. 먼저 안성 로컬푸드를 이용해 본 경험이 있고 안성에 거주하고 있는 20세 이상 여성을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 로컬푸드에 대한 소비자 구매유발 속성을 도출하였다. 도출된 7가지 속성 "우수한 품질", "안전성", "건강에 좋음", "지역경제활성화", "저렴한 가격", "접근성", "다양한 품목" 중에 안성 로컬푸드 소비자 구매의향을 결정짓는 주요 요인을 찾아내고자 로지스틱회귀분석을 수행하였다. 분석결과 안성 로컬푸드에 대한 소비자 구매결정에 가장 영향을 주는 속성은 "우수한 품질"과 "저렴한 가격"이었으며, 그 다음으로 "접근성"과 "지역경제활성화"인 것으로 조사되었다.

We have investigated coarse wind sectors in Busan metropolitan area and simulated detailed wind field using local atmospheric circulation model, RAMS in preceding studies (Part I, Part II). In this study, we divided and analyzed local wind sector in Busan according to the preceding results. We found that Busan metropolitan area is divided into 2 or 3 local wind sector in each coarse wind sector. The 9 coarse wind sectors were classified into 20 local wind sectors in total. But three local wind sectors were finally excluded because of these sectors were located on the complex hill area and the sea. Local wind sectors, therefore, in Busan metropolitan area were defined as 17 regimes. We assessed the location of air qualify monitoring sites at Busan metropolitan area using the information of these wind sectors. Most of these were located at proper points, but 6 sites were placed at 3 local wind sectors as a couple and no site was set up at 3 other sectors. Hence the location of these sites was in need of rearrange.

Purpose - This study empirically investigates the relationship between expatriate CEOs of multinational corporation (MNC) foreign subsidiaries and local philanthropy. Since corporate social responsibility (CSR) enables MNCs to achieve local legitimacy, this research argues that local philanthropy is a valuable strategic means for expatriate CEOs of foreign subsidiaries to secure local legitimacy. Design/methodology - To investigate our argument, we use a sample of 5,459 observations from 576 foreign subsidiaries of MNCs in Korea between 2002 and 2016. We conduct a random-effects panel Tobit regression with subsidiary CEO having foreign nationality as the independent variable and local philanthropy as the dependent variable. Findings - Our main findings are that expatriate CEOs of foreign subsidiaries are more actively engaged in local philanthropy. In addition, the positive relationship between expatriate CEOs and local philanthropy is weaker as their tenure increases. Originality/value - How expatriate CEOs overcome their weak local legitimacy as foreigners in a host country has remained unclear because existing studies mainly focused on the control and coordination aspects of staffing expatriates in CEO positions of foreign subsidiaries. This study broadens the literature on subsidiary CEO staffing and CSR activities of MNCs by identifying complementary relationships between expatriate CEOs and corporate philanthropy in the host country.

본 연구는 지역 인문학 생태계 조사와 지역 인문학 활용에 대한 조사를 하였다. 이를 통해 지역민들을 위한 인문학 생태계 활성화 방안에 대해 제시하였다. 연구내용으로 첫째, 지역 인문학 지원방안은 무엇인지 살펴보았다. 둘째, 지역 인문학 발전을 위한 연구인력 활용사업 방안을 찾고자 하였고 셋째, 지역 인문학 생태계 발전 연구인력 양성 방안을 연구하였다. 넷째, 지역 인문학 발전을 위한 일자리 창출 방안에 대한 내용을 분석하였다. 이러한 분석은 지역만의 고유한 문화와 특수함이 부여된 지역 인문학 생태계 연구 활성화를 위한 지원방안을 확립하는 데 있다.

The main purpose of the study is to identify the key aspects of legislative support standards in the countries of the European Union in the field of building a system of local self-government. The European Union during the history of its existence has developed a set of standards on which the systems of local self-government of the European Union member states and applicants for this status are built. The complexity and at the same time the importance of legislative regulation of the functioning of this system is evidenced by the fact that the legislation and principles of international law used by the European Union in the field of local self-government are among the "youngest". This is due to the role played by local self-government in the development of a democratic political system, as well as the search for an optimal balance between centralization and decentralization. Thus, the main task of the study is to analyze the legislative support standards in the countries of the European Union in the field of building a system of local self-government. As a result of the study, current trends and prerequisites for the legislative support standards in the countries of the European Union in the field of building a system of local self-government were investigated.

The maximum likelihood estimation under a local restriction and likelihood ratio tests for and against a local restriction are discussed. A real data is analyzed for illustrative purpose.

We prove some results about the finiteness of co-associated primes of generalized local homology modules inspired by a conjecture of Grothendieck and a question of Huneke. We also show some equivalent properties of minimax local homology modules. By duality, we get some properties of Herzog's generalized local cohomology modules.

The multiplication region of an APD(Avalanche photodiode) plays a critical role in determining the gain, the multiplication noise, and the gain-bandwidth product. we compared and analyzed the local model and the non-local model for a 10Gb/s APD designing.
