Ru/C 촉매를 이용한 p-Toluidine의 선택적 수소화 반응에 있어서 공정변수의 최적화연구 (Optimization of Process Variables in the Hydrogenation of p-Toluidine on Ru/C Catalyst)

  • Ru/C 촉매를 이용한 p-toluidine (TLD) 선택적 수소화 반응의 특성을 파악하기 위하여 반응 온도, 수소 압력, 촉매량, 반응용매 및 알카리 첨가제와 같은 공정변수들을 변화시켜가면서 반응속도와 생성물 분포에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. TLD 수소화 반응에서 4-methylcyclohexylamine (MCHA)이 주된 생성물로 얻어졌으며 부반응물로는 bis(4-methyl cyclohexyl) amine (BMCHA)이 주로 생성되었다. MCHA는 온도와 압력의 증가에 따라 감소하였지만, 촉매량에 따라서는 증가함을 나타내었다. 용매의 변화에서는 isopropanol (IPA)에서 가장 좋은 선택도를 나타내었다. 이로부터 TLD 선택적 수소화에 대한 반응 기구를 제시하였다. 알카리염의 첨가는 BMCHA의 생성률을 낮게 하여 MCHA로의 선택도를 증가시켰으며 반응속도 또한 증가시켜주는 효과를 나타내었다.

SOFC용 유리-세라믹섬유 복합기밀재의 고온 기체누설 거동 (High Temperature Gas Leak Behavior of Glass-Ceramic Fiber Composite Seals for SOFC Applications)

  • Glass composites containing ceramic fiber have been developed for Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) seals. Effect of glass type, loading pressure and thermal cycle the leak rates of composite seals was investigated. Seal performance of two commercial glasses was compared with that of $SiO_2BaO-B_2O_3$ glass synthesized in this work. The leak rate for seals made of pyrex(R) increases from $\~0.0005\;to\;\~0.004sccm/cm$ as the gas pressure increases from 10 to 50 kPa. The soda lime silicate glass seal shows the leak rate two times higher than the one made of pyrex(R) or $SiO_2BaO-B_2O_3$ glass. The viscosity of glass at the seal test temperature is presumed to affect the leak rate of the glass seal. As the applied loading pressure increases from 0.4 to 0.8 MPa at $750^{\circ}C$, the leak rate decreases from 0.038 to 0.024 sccm/cm for composite seals. It has been found that during 50 thermal cycles between $450^{\circ}C\;to\;700^{\circ}C$ leak rates remained almost constant, ranging from 0.025 to 0.03sccm/cm. The results showed an excellent thermal cycle stability as well as sealability of the glass matrix ceramic fiber composite seals.

An Efficient Method for Co-purification of Eggshell Matrix Proteins OC-17, OC-116, and OCX-36

  • In this study, we improved the eggshell-membrane separation process by separating the shell and membrane with EDTA solution, evaluating effects of three different extraction solutions (acetic acid, EDTA, and phosphate solution), and co-purifying multiple eggshell proteins with two successive ion-exchange chromatography procedures (CM Sepharose Fast Flow and DEAE Sepharose Fast Flow). The recovery and residual rates of eggshell and membrane separated by the modified method with added EDTA solution were 93.88%, 91.15% and 1.01%, 2.87%, respectively. Ovocleidin-116 (OC-116) and ovocalyxin-36 (OCX-36) were obtained by loading 50 mM Na-Hepes, pH 7.5, 2 mM DTT and 350 mM NaCl buffer onto the DEAE-FF column at a flow rate of 1 mL/min, ovocleidin-17 (OC-17) was obtained by loading 100 mM NaCl, 50 mM Tris, pH 8.0 on the CM-FF column at a flow rate of 0.5 mL/min. The purities of OCX-36, OC-17 and OC-116 were 96.82%, 80.15% and 73.22%, and the recovery rates were 55.27%, 53.38% and 36.34%, respectively. Antibacterial activity test suggested that phosphate solution extract exhibited significantly higher activity against the tested bacterial strains than the acetic acid or EDTA extract, probably due to more types of proteins in the extract. These results demonstrate that this separation method is feasible and efficient.

쉬나무 종실유의 디젤기관 대체연료 개발에 관한 연구 - Engine 성능 및 견인력을 중심으로 - (Studies on Development of Fuel Substitute for Diesel Engine with Seed Oil of Evodia Daniellii)

  • To know the possibility of fuel substitution for Diesel engine with the seed oil of Evodia daniellii, which is one of the native oil seed trees in Korea. the refined seed oil mixed with light oil in the various rates was tested in the 8 PS Diesel engine: the output, the fuel consumption rate, the governor performance, the rpm stability in the total loading condition. the content of graphite in the burned gas, and the traction coefficients at the different gear stages were maintained The following results were discussed. 1. The output at the normal revolution (2200rpm)was increased as the percent seed oil increased. At the lower rpm (2000-1500rpm )there were no consistent difference in the outputs among fuels of the different percent seed oil 2. The rate of fuel consumption was inclosed as the percent seed oil increased in each loading condition. 3. The more percent sud oil was mixed in the fuel. the better governor performance appeared at both the instantaneous and stable speed. 4. The more percent seed oil was mixed In the fuel, the more stable rpm ratio was maintained 5. The graphite content In the burned gas was increased as the load increased, but there was no apparent difference in the content at each load among the 100$\%$ seed oil, the 100$\%$ light oil, and the mixtures in various rates. 6. In all fuel mixtures the maximam traction coefficent appeared at the third transmission gear stage. Generally in over all transmission gear stages the fuel mixtures of the seed oil:light oil ratio from 7:3 to 5:5 resulted greater traction force than the other fuels.

Rate-Dependence of Off-Axis Tensile Behavior of Cross-Ply CFRP Laminates at Elevated Temperature and Its Simulation

  • The present paper focuses on experimental verification of the ply-by-ply basis inelastic analysis of multidirectional laminates. First of all, rate dependence of the tensile behavior of balanced symmetric cross-ply T800H/epoxy laminates with a $[0/90]_{3S}$ lay-up under off-axis loading conditions at $100^{\circ}C$ is examined. Uniaxial tension tests are performed on plain coupon specimens with various fiber orientations $[{\theta}/(90-{\theta})]_{3S}$ ($\theta$ = 0, 5, 15, 45 and $90^{\circ}C$) at two different strain rates (1.0 and 0.01%/min). The off-axis stress.strain curves exhibit marked nonlinearity for all the off-axis fiber orientations except for the on-axis fiber orientations $\theta$ = 0 and $90^{\circ}$, regardless of the strain rates. Strain rate has significant influences not only on the off-axis flow stress in the regime of nonlinear response but also on the apparent off-axis elastic modulus in the regime of initial linear response. A macromechanical constitutive model based on a ply viscoplasticity model and the classical laminated plate theory is applied to predictions of the rate-dependent off-axis nonlinear behavior of the cross-ply CFRP laminate. The material constants involved by the ply viscoplasticity model are identified on the basis of the experimental results on the unidirectional laminate of the same carbon/epoxy system. It is demonstrated that good agreements between the predicted and observed results are obtained by taking account of the fiber rotation induced by deformation as well as the rate dependence of the initial Young's moduli.

  • 본 연구에서는 혼합 모우드 균열문제의 연구를 위하여 .KAPPA.$_{II}$ /.KAPPA.S1I\ulcorner조절이 간편하고, 균열진전경로가 하중방향에 따른 균일전면의 자유표면의 영향을 균일하게 한 시험편(이하 RCM 또는 round compact mixed-mode 시험편이라 한다)을 고안하여 균열길이 및 하중작용 방향에 따른 .KAPPA.$_{I}$ 및 .KAPPA.S1II를 수치해석한 다음 일반화 하였다. 또 고강도와 용접성이 요구되는 항공기부품, 압력용기, 지상운송차량 등에 사용되고 있는 5083-H115 알루미늄 합금에 대해 혼합 모우드 균열진전 방향 및 피로균열 진전특성을 분석하고자 한다.다.

시설하우스 농업배수 처리를 위한 인공습지에서 여재종류, 조합방법 및 부하량에 따른 오염물질 정화효율 평가 (Evaluation of Removal Efficiency of Pollutants in Constructed Wetlands for Treating Greenhouse Wastewater Under Different Filter Media, Configuration Methods and Agricultural Water Loading)

  • 본 연구는 시설하우스에서 비점오염원으로 인해 배출되는 오염된 농업배수를 인공습지에서 효과적으로 처리하기 위한 기초자료를 확보하기 위해 인공습지에서 여재종류, 조합방법 및 부하량에 따른 오염물질 정화효율을 평가하였다. 인공습지의 조합방법은 수직-수평흐름조, 수평-수직흐름조, 수평-수직-수평흐름조 및 수직-수평-수평흐름조로 구분하여 설계 및 시공하였으며, 여재는 왕사, 쇄석, 방해석 및 혼합여재로 구분하여 각 조에 충진하였다. 또한 농업배수 부하량을 150, 300, $600L\;m^{-2}day^{-1}$으로 달리하여 오염물질의 처리효율을 조사하였다. 조합방법별 수처리효율은 HF-VF-HF 조합방법이 다른 조합방법에 비해 높은 처리효율을 보였으며, 최적여재는 COD 처리효율은 왕사가 가장 높았고, T-N은 쇄석, T-P는 방해석이 가장 높았다. 하지만 모든 처리효율과 경제성 부분을 고려하였을 때 최적여재는 혼합여재가 가장 효과적일 것으로 판단된다. 농업배수의 부하량에 따른 처리효율 결과 COD는 농업배수 부하량 $600L\;m^{-2}day^{-1}$까지 안정적인 처리효율을 보였으나, T-N 및 T-P는 $150L\;m^{-2}day^{-1}{\fallingdotseq}300L\;m^{-2}day^{-1}$ > $600L\;m^{-2}day^{-1}$의 순으로 농업배수의 부하량이 증가함에 따라 약간 감소하는 경향이었다. 따라서 시설하우스 농업배수 처리를 위한 인공습지 농업배수처리장의 최적조건은 HF-VH-HF 조합형 인공습지에 왕사, 쇄석 및 방해석이 혼합된 혼합여 재로 충진하고 부하량 $300L\;m^{-2}day^{-1}$ 이하의 농업배수를 주입하는 것이 최적일 것으로 판단된다.

암모니아 부하가 활성탄 유동상에서의 질산화 및 아질산 축적에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Ammonia Loading on Nitrification and Nitrite Build-up in an Activated Carbon Fluidized Bed Biofilm Reactor)

  • 본 연구는 활성탄 유동상 반응조의 암모니아 부하를 $0.1{\sim}7.5kg\;NH_3-N/m^3{\cdot}day$의 범위에서 단계적으로 증가시키면서 암모니아 부하가 질산화 효율 및 아질산성 질소의 축적에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위하여 수행되었다. 실험 결과, $1.8kg\;NH_3-N/m^3{\cdot}day$ 이상의 암모니아 부하에서는 처리수의 아질산성 질소 농도 및 질산화 효율이 변동하였지만 평균 90%의 질산화효율을 나타내었으며, 유리 암모니아성 질소의 농도가 1 mg/L 이상으로 측정되었던 $1.8kg\;NH_3-N/m^3{\cdot}day$의 암모니아 부하부터 아질산성 질소의 축적이 시작되었다. 아질산성 질소가 축적되었던 기간에는 유입수의 암모니아성 질소 농도와 반응조내의 용존산소 농도 간의 비가 100 이상이거나 처리수 $NH_3-N$ 농도와 반응조 DO 농도 간의 비가 2 이상이었다. 결론적으로, 활성탄 유동상 반응조는 고농도로 암모니아성 질소를 함유하는 폐수의 생물학적 질산화에 효과적이며, 아질산화-탈질에도 유려할 것으로 판단된다.

Behavior of RC beams strengthened with NSM CFRP strips under flexural repeated loading

  • Strengthening with near surface mounted carbon fibre reinforced polymers (NSM-CFRP) is a strengthening technique that have been used for several decades to increase the load carrying capacity of reinforced concrete members. In Iraq, many concrete buildings and bridges were subjected to a wide range of damage as a result of the last war and many other events. Accordingly, there is a progressive increase in the strengthening of concrete structures, bridges in particular, by using CFRP strengthening techniques. Near-surface mounted carbon fibre polymer has been recently proved as a powerful strengthening technique in which the CFRP strips are sufficiently protected against external environmental conditions especially the high-temperature rates in Iraq. However, this technique has not been examined yet under repeated loading conditions such as traffic loads on bridge girders. The main objective of this research was to investigate the effectiveness of NSM-CFRP strips in reinforced concrete beams under repeated loads. Different parameters such as the number of strips, groove size, and two types of bonding materials (epoxy resin and cement-based adhesive) were considered. Fifteen NSM-CFRP strengthened beams were tested under concentrated monotonic and repeated loadings. Three beams were non-strengthened as reference specimens while the remaining were strengthened with NSM-CFRP strips and divided into three groups. Each group comprises two beams tested under monotonic loads and used as control for those tested under repeated loads in the same group. The experimental results are discussed in terms of load-deflection behavior up to failure, ductility factor, cumulative energy absorption, number of cycles to failure, and the mode of failure. The test results proved that strengthening with NSM-CFRP strips increased both the flexural strength and stiffness of the tested beams. An increase in load carrying capacity was obtained in a range of (1.47 to 4.49) times that for the non-strengthened specimens. Also, the increase in total area of CFRPs showed a slight increase in flexural capacity of (1.02) times the value of the control strengthened one tested under repeated loading. Increasing the total area of CFRP strips resulted in a reduction in ductility factor reached to (0.71) while the cumulative energy absorption increased by (1.22) times the values of the strengthened reference specimens tested under repeated loading. Moreover, the replacement of epoxy resin with cement-based adhesive as a bonding material exhibited higher ductility than specimen with epoxy resin tested under monotonic and repeated loading.

GEO 기반 위성 네트워크에서의 대역폭 빌림 방법과 대역폭 예약 방법을 이용한 호 수락 제어 성능 분석 (Performance Analysis of Call Admission Control Scheme with Bandwidth Borrowing and Bandwidth Reservation in GEO based Integrated Satellite Network)

  • 본 논문에서는 GEO 기반 위성 네트워크에서의 호 수락 제어 성능을 개선할 수 있는 대역폭 빌림 방법을 제안하였다. 일반적으로 통신이나 스트리밍 서비스의 경우는 고정된 목표 데이터 속도가 있지만, 데이터 서비스의 경우에는 고정된 목표 데이터 속도가 존재하지 않는다. 따라서 데이터 서비스의 경우에는 시스템 부하 상태에 따라서 데이터 속도를 유동적으로 변화시킬 수 있다. 데이터서비스의 이런 특성을 이용하면 시스템에서 이용할 수 있는 대역폭이 충분하지 않는 경우에 데이터 서비스의 데이터 속도를 감소시켜서 실시간 서비스의 호 수락 요청을 받아들일 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 대역폭 빌림 방법에 대한 큐잉 모델을 만들고 시뮬레이션을 통해 결과를 검증하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과에 따르면 대역폭 빌림 방법을 통해서 전체 블로킹 확률의 8.7-35.2 dB의 이득을 얻을 수 있다.
