SLS 3D 프린터를 이용하여 제작된 PA2200의 단축 반복 인장하중에 따른 피로 특성에 관한 연구 (A study on the fatigue characteristics of SLS 3D printed PA2200 according to uniaxial cyclic tensile loading)

  • In this study, the fatigue behavior and fatigue life characteristics of PA2200 specimens fabricated by SLS 3D printer were studied. Fatigue tests were performed according to the standard specification (ASTM E468) and fatigue life curves were obtained. In order to perform the fatigue test, mechanical properties were measured according to the test speed of the simple tensile test, and the self-heating temperature of the specimen according to the test speed was measured using an infrared temperature measuring camera in consideration of heat generation due to plastic deformation. There was no significant difference within the set test speed range and the average self-heating temperature was measured at 38.5 ℃. The mechanical strength at the measured temperature showed a relatively small difference from the mechanical strength at room temperature. Fatigue test conditions were established through the preceding experiments, and the loading conditions below the tensile strength at room temperature 23 ℃ were set as the cyclic load. The maximum number of replicates was less than 100,000 cycles, and the fracture behavior of the specimens with the repeated loads showed the characteristics of Racheting. It was confirmed that SLS 3D printing PA2200 material could be applied to the Basquin's S-N diagram for the fatigue life curve of metal materials. SEM images of the fracture surface was obtained to analyze the relationship between the characteristics of the fracture surface and the number of repetitions until failure. Brittle fracture, crazing fracture, grain melting, and porous fracture surface were observed. It was shown that the larger the area of crazing damage, the longer the number of repetitions until fracture.

  • 최근 지하철 시공 확대와 국토의 지형적인 특수성, 시공기술의 발달 등으로 인하여 장대터널이 증가하고 있는 실정이다. 터널 및 지하구조물에서 발생되는 화재는 지하공간이라는 폐쇄된 공간특성으로 인해 지상화재에 비해 많은 인명과 경제적 피해를 발생시킨다. 국내의 경우 터널 및 지하구조물에 대한 내화 연구가 진행 중이나 고온 시 콘크리트의 폭열 발생으로 인한 내하력 저하 및 안전성 평가에 대한 연구가 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 시간가열 온도곡선(RABT 및 RWS)에 따른 콘크리트 내화 특성을 평가하고 실제 발생한 화재사례와 비교 검토하여 적용성을 제시하였다. 또한 유한요소 기반의 수치모델을 적용한 열-역학 연동해석을 실시하여 화재로 인한 지하구조물의 단면 손실 및 손상정도를 예측 평가하였다.

  • 탄소섬유강화 복합재료는 금속재료에 비하여 높은 비강성과 비강도 등의 우수한 기계적 성질을 나타내고 있으며, 이러한 이유로 최근 경량화가 요구되는 항공기용 재료와 자동차용 재료 등으로 그 사용이 급격히 증가하여 금속재를 대체하고 있다. 그러나 대부분의 기계구조물에서는 반복하중에 의한 피로 파손이 주로 발생하고 있다. 그러므로 섬유강화 복합재를 사용한 기계구조물의 내구성을 확보하기 위해서는 이에 대한 피로 해석 및 내구성 평가가 필요하다. 따라서 피로 손상 모델을 이용하여 피로 시험으로부터 구한 손상량을 이용하여 피로손상 누적곡선을 획득하고 해석하였다.

316L(N)스테인리스강의 Monkman-Grant 크리프 수명식의 적용성 (Application of Monkman-Grant Relationships to Type 316L(N) Stainless Steel)

  • Creep tests for type 316L(N) stainless steel were carried out using constant-load creep machines at 55$0^{\circ}C$, 575$^{\circ}C$ and $600^{\circ}C$. Material constants necessary to predict creep rupture time were obtained from the experimental creep data. And the applicability of Monkman-Grant(M-G) and modified M-G relationships was discussed. The log-log plot of M-G relationship between the rupture time($t_r$,) and the minimum creep rate ($ $\varepsilon$ _m$) was dependent on test temperatures. The slope of m was 1,05 at 55$0^{\circ}C$ and m was 1.30 at $600^{\circ}C$. On the other hand, the log-log plot of modified M-G relationship between $t_r/$\varepsilon$_r$, and $ $\varepsilon$ _m$ was independent on stresses and temperatures. That is, the slope of m' was approximately 1.35 in all the data. Thus, modified M-G relationship for creep life prediction could be utilized more reasonably than that of M-G relationship for type 316L(N) stainless steel. It was analyzed that the constant slopes regardless of temperatures or applied stresses in the modified relationship were due to an intergranular fracture grown by wedge-type cavities.

TMA 열분석을 이용한 ACM 고무의 압축크립거동 연구 (A Study on Compressive Creep Behavior of ACM Rubber using TMA Thermal Analysis)

  • 자동차 엔진 개스킷용으로 사용되는 아크릴 고무(ACM)의 압축크립 거동을 TMA 열분석기를 이용하여 연구하였다. 160, 180, 200, 및 $220^{\circ}C$의 서로 다른 온도에서 1N의 일정한 힘을 가하고 등온시험을 행한 결과, 시간에 따른 압축크립거동을 얻었고, 이로부터 시간-온도 중첩원리를 이용하여 기준온도 $160^{\circ}C$에서의 이동인자 $a_T$를 실험적으로 결정하고, 고온 데이터의 기준온도로의 평행 이동에 의하여 마스터 곡선을 얻을 수 있었다. 또한 WLF(Williams-Landel-Ferry) plot을 통하여 계산된 $C_1$$C_2$는 각각 -1.107 및 11.571로 계산되었으며, WLF식을 이용하는 $120^{\circ}C$에서의 ACM 고무재료의 수명은 약 24,000시간으로 예측되었다.

Tribology Characteristics of Hexagonal Shape Surface Textured Reduction Gear in Electric Agricultural Vehicle

  • An experimental study was conducted on the wear and friction responses in sliding tests of a micro-textured surface on laser pattern (LP) steel as reduction gear material in electric guided vehicle. In this research, the friction characteristics of laser pattern steel under different micro texture density conditions were investigated. The friction tests were carried out at sliding speeds of 0.06 m/s to 0.34 m/s and at normal loads of 2 to 10 N. Photolithography method was used to create the dimples for surface texturing purpose. Four different specimens having different dimple densities of 10%, 12.5%, 15%, and 20% were observed respectively. In this research, friction conditions as shown in Stribeck curve were investigated. Furthermore, the microscopic surface was observed using scanning electron microscope. It was found that the dimple density had a significant role on the friction characteristics of laser pattern steel conditioned as reduction gear material in an agricultural vehicle. The duty number showed that the friction condition was hydrodynamic regime. The best performance was obtained from 12.5% dimple density with lowest friction coefficient achieved at 0.018771 under the velocity of 0.34 m/s and 10N load.

The development of the seismic fragility curves of existing bridges in Indonesia (Case study: DKI Jakarta)

  • Seismic regulations have been updated from time to time to accommodate an increase in seismic hazards. Comparison of seismic fragility of the existing bridges in Indonesia from different historical periods since the era before 1990 will be the basis for seismic assessment of the bridge stock in Indonesia, most of which are located in earthquake-prone areas, especially those built many years ago with outdated regulations. In this study, seismic fragility curves were developed using incremental non-linear time history analysis and more holistically according to the actual strength of concrete and steel material in Indonesia to determine the uncertainty factor of structural capacity, βc. From the research that has been carried out, based on the current seismic load in SNI 2833:2016/Seismic Map 2017 (7% probability of exceedance in 75 years), the performance level of the bridge in the era before SNI 2833:2016 was Operational-Life Safety whereas the performance level of the bridge designed with SNI 2833:2016 was Elastic - Operational. The potential for more severe damage occurs in greater earthquake intensity. Collapse condition occurs at As = FPGA x PGA value of bridge Era I = 0.93 g; Era II = 1.03 g; Era III = 1.22 g; Era IV = 1.54 g. Furthermore, the fragility analysis was also developed with geometric variations in the same bridge class to see the effect of these variations on the fragility, which is the basis for making bridge risk maps in Indonesia.

설계초과지진시 CPE를 고려한 밀림관 파단전누설 평가 (Leak Before Break Evaluation of Surge Line by Considering CPE under Beyond Design Basis Earthquake)

  • Nuclear Power Plants (NPP) should be designed to have sufficient safety margins and to ensure seismic safety against earthquake that may occur during the plant life time. After the 9.12 Gyeongju earthquake accident, the structural integrity of nuclear power plants due to the beyond design basis earthquake is one of key safety issues. Accordingly, it is necessary to conduct structural integrity evaluations for domestic NPPs under beyond design basis earthquake. In this study, the Level 3 LBB (Leak Before Break) evaluation was performed by considering the beyond design basis earthquake for the surge line of a OPR1000 plant of which design basis earthquake was set to be 0.2g. The beyond design basis earthquake corresponding to peak ground acceleration 0.4g at the maximum stress point of the surge line was considered. It was confirmed that the moment behaviors of the hot leg and pressurized surge nozzle were lower than the maximum allowable loading in moment-rotation curve. It was also confirmed that the LBB margin could be secured by comparing the LBB margin through the Level 2 method. It was judged that the margin was secured by reducing the load generated through the compliance of the pipe.

경계 조건과 불포화 함수 특성 곡선의 이력에 따른 불포화 토사 사면의 수리적 거동 분석 (Analysis of Hydraulic behavior in Unsaturated Soil Slope for the Boundary Condition and Hysteresis of SWCC)

  • 최근 집중 강우의 증가로 인한 사면 붕괴가 증가하고 있으며, 대규모 사면 붕괴가 빈번하게 발생하고 있다. 사면 붕괴로 인한 인명 및 재산 피해를 최소화하기 위해서 사면 경보 시스템에 사면 계측이 활용되고 있다. 사면 계측은 특정 지점에서 대한 결과를 측정하기 때문에 전반적인 사면의 거동을 파악하기 어려우므로 수치 해석을 함께 수행되어야 한다. 강우 침투시 사면의 거동을 파악하기 위해서 강우 뿐만 아니라 증발산이 고려되고 있으며, 불포화 함수 특성 곡선의 건조 과정을 적용하여 수치해석이 진행 되고 있다. 하지만, 불포화 함수 특성 곡선의 이력 현상은 수치해석 결과에 영향을 미친다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 증발산 산정 방법과 증발산을 경계 조건에 적용하는 방법을 제시하고, 불포화 사면의 현장 계측 결과와 경계 조건과 침투 조건을 고려한 수치해석 결과를 비교하였다. 계측 지점의 흡수력 변화와 상관 계수를 비교하였을 때, 불포화 함수 특성 곡선의 건조과정과 습윤과정에 따라 증발산에 대한 영향이 다르게 나타났다. 또한, 증발산 적용을 통하여 건기와 우기시의 흡수력 변화가 실제 계측 결과와 근접하게 나타나는 것을 통하여 증발산 적용시 불포화 사면의 지표면에서 발생하는 수분 이동을 더 합리적으로 예측할 수 있다고 판단된다.

식물공장 자동화를 위한 공압 실린더를 이용한 육묘베드 이송장치의 이송력 특성 (Transfer Force Characteristics of Seedling Bed Transfer Equipment Using Pneumatic Cylinder for Automation of Plant Factory)

  • This study was performed to offer the data for design of the seedling bed transfer equipment to make the automation of working process in a plant factory. The seedling bed transfer equipment pushing the seedling bed with bearing wheels on the rail for interconnecting each working process by a pneumatic cylinder was made and examined. The examined transfer force to push the seedling bed with a weight of 178.9 N by the pneumatic cylinder with length of 60 cm and section area of 5 $cm^2$ was measured by experiments. The examined transfer forces was compared with theoretical ones calculated by the theoretical formula derived from dynamic system analysis according to the number of the seedling bed and pushing speed of the pneumatic cylinder head at no load. The transfer function of the equipment with the input variable as the pushing speed $V_{h0}$(m/s) and the output variable as the transfer force f(t)(N) was represented as $F(s)=(V_{h0}/k)(s+B/M)/(s(s^2+Bs/M+1/(kM))$ where M(kg), k(m/N) and B(Ns/m) are the mass of the bed, the compression coefficient of the pneumatic cylinder and the dynamic friction coefficient between the seedling bed and the rail, respectively. The examined transfer force curves and the theoretical ones were represented similar wave forms as to use the theoretical formular to design the device for the seedling bed transfer. The condition of no vibration of the transfer force curve was $kB^2>4M$. The condition of transferring the bed by the repeatable impact and vibration force according to difference of transfer distance of the pneumatic cylinder head from that of the bed was as $Ce^{-\frac{3{\pi}D}{2\omega}}<-1$, where ${\omega}=\sqrt{\frac{1}{kM}-\frac{B^2}{4M^2}}$, $C=\{\frac{\frac{B}{2M}-\frac{1}{kB}}{\omega}\}$, $D=\frac{B}{2M}$. The examined mean peak transfer force represented 4 times of the stead state transfer force. Therefore it seemed that the transfer force of the pneumatic cylinder required for design of the push device was 4Bv where v is the pushing speed.
