A 29-year-old male patient was referred to Dept. of Dentistry due to halitosis and food impaction, who had been diagnosed as progressive systemic sclerosis at Dept. of Dermatology, SNUH. Oromaxillofacially lips were slightly thin, rigid and shiny. Pale gingiva and pinched nose were found also. Radiographically, uniform extreme widening of periodontal ligament space was found.

선형계획법은 경영과학 (Operations Research)에 있어서 가장 널리 활용되고 있는 모형중에 하나이다. 그래서 선형 계획법과 같이 깊이 연구된 모형도 없을 것이며 이 모형과 같이 다양한 전산프로그램이 있는 모형도 없을 것이다. 전산기 제조회사는 거의 모두 자체 선형계획법용 프로그램을 제공하고 있으며 예를 들면 IBM MPSX/370, CDC APEX III, UNIVAC MPS, HONEYWELL ALPS, FACOM LIPS 등이 있으며 전산기 제조회사가 아니더라도 독자적으로 선형계획법 프로그램을 개발하여 제공하는 곳도 있다.(중략)

Impetigo is a superficialis and purulent dermal infection spread by contact. It is a common disease among children in summer. A nine-month-old male infant visited our clinic because of vesicles and pustulae around his eyes, lips and chest. We diagnosed impetigo and treated him with herbal medication Sunbanghwalmyung-eum and aromatherapy using tea-tree. He recovered by way of treatment for a period of one week and he is in favorable condition now.

Pulmonary arteriovenous fistula is a rare congenital vascular malformation resulting from abnormal capillary development with incomplete formation of vascular septum normally dividing the primitive connections between the venous and arterial plexuses. Recently we have experienced a case of the bilateral pulmonary arteriovenous fistula in 7 years-old female patient. On admission, clinical manifestations were cyanosis of lips, clubbing and cyanosis of digits, and exertional dyspnea. The PO2 in arterial blood gas analysis was 43.3mmHg. In left upper and right lower lobe pulmonary arteriovenous fistulas were confirmed by bilateral pulmonary angiography. Left upper lobectomy and wedge resection of right lower lobe were performed respectively. Postoperative results were good.

In this paper a detailed description of collecting Korean audio-video speech data is presented. The main aim of this experiment is to collect some audio-video materials which can be used for later experiments to estimate and model the actions of the visible human articulatory organs such as mouth, lips and jaw. We collect audio-video data from seven directions separately. Twelve markers are used to trace the movements.

In a harbor seal in captivity from the Yellow sea of Korea, alopecia began on flippers and tail, and spread to ventral part of abdomen and dorsal part of body in order. Multiples coalesced, and well-circumscribed lesions such as patches and maculas appeared on foreflipper, hind flipper, perianus, ventral part of tail, lips, and some parts of trunk were appeared in. Phialophora richardsiae, Gemella morbillorum, and coagulate-negative etaphyococci were isolated from Besions and hairs. After treatment with internal and external ketoconazole, povidone iodine, cephalexinl Pink Skin~l and multivitamins hair grew up and lesions were disappeared completely 8 months after occurrence.

본 논문에서는 일상생활에서 생활 의학의 한 방편으로 사용되고 있는 수지침이 실제 인체장기에 어떤 영향을 미치는지에 대해 IT 기술을 적용하여 이를 규명하는 연구를 행하고자 한다. 이를 위해 우선적으로 수지침 요법을 기반으로 인체에 있어 가장 중요한 장기인 심장을 대상으로 심장과 관련된 손 반사점인 A16 혈자리를 5분간 자극하여 전과 후의 얼굴 영상을 수집하고 Lab 색체계를 적용하여 심장과 연관된 이마와 입술 영역에 대한 색상 측정을 통해 상호간의 비교, 분석을 수행하였다. 최종적으로 생체 영상신호의 변화량 측정에 의해 A16 혈자리 자극으로 심장기능에 미치는 효과를 규명하는 연구를 수행하였으며 실험 결과 자료들에 대해 유의성 분석을 통해 실험 결과 자료가 유효한 결과 자료인지 여부에 대한 규명을 행하고자 한다.

홍순(red zone 또는 vermilion zone)은 해부학적으로 입술의 피부부위에서 구강점막으로 이행되는 부위로 선 구순염, 접촉구순염, 구각 구순염, 형질세포성 구순염, 박탈성 구순염, 광선 구순염, 육아종성 구순염과 같은 염증성 질환으로 알려진 다양한 구순염과 감염성 질환, 양성 및 악성 종양, 다른 전신질환의 피부증상과 관련된 병소들이 나타난다. 본 증례에서는 홍순에 발생한 궤양성, 출혈성, 가피를 형성한 병소들에 대해 형질세포 구순염과 Stevens-Johnson syndrome(SJS)과 관련된 홍순 병소를 경험한 바 이를 보고하고자 한다.

저자들은 영남대학교 의과대학 부속병원 치과에 상하악 치조전돌을 주소로 내원한 2명의 환자에게 상하악의 전치부 분절골절단술과 교정치료를 병행하여 심미적으로 좋은 결과를 얻었기에 치료결과를 아래와 같이 요약했다. 1. 전치부를 후방 위치시키는 외과적 술식으로 제 1소구치 발치 공간을 이용해 Wunderer, Kole방법을 사용했다. 2. crowding이 있었던 증례 2에서는 술전 교정으로 이를 해소했고 intrusion시키는 단계에서 외과적 시술을 시행하였다. 3. 술전 paper surgery, cast surgery에 의해 술후 결과를 어느 정도 예상할 수 있었다. 4. cast상에서 resin splint를 제작하여 6주 동안 악내고정하였고 이에 따라 악간고정은 필요치 않았다. 5. 증례 2에서 수술후 남아있는 deep bite를 개선하기 위해 술후교정을 시행했다. 6. 각각 3개월, 5개월 관찰하였는 바 아직까지는 relapse와 합병증이 나타나지 않았으며 심미적인 면에서 개선된 양상을 보였다.
