Ferrobacillus ferrooxidans로 부터 ornithine-containing lipid 분리에 관한 연구 (Study on ornithine-containing lipid from ferrobacillus ferrooxidans)

  • It is well known that the ornithine-containing lipids were separated and identified from the other lipids of Rhodopseudomonas spheroides, Rhodospirillum, and Thiobacillus thiooxidans. An ornithine-containing lipid that lacks phosphorus and glycerol has been observed in Ferrobacillus ferrooxidans which was isolated from dalsung copper mine in Korea. The aminolipid was extracted from F.ferrooxidans and furthr purified by thin layer chromatography, and the product was identified as an ornithine-containing lipid by paper and liquid chromatography respectively.

밤 지질(脂質) 성분(成分)의 분석(分析) -제2(二)보. 구성 지질(脂質) 및 구성 지방산(脂肪酸)의 조성(組成)- (Analysis of the Lipid Components in Chestnut(Castanea crenata) -II. Lipid and Fatty Acid Composition of Neutral Lipid , Glycolipid and Phospholipid-)

  • 은기(銀寄), 녹조(鹿鳥), 상피(霜被)의 3가지 밤 품종(品種)의 지질(脂質)성분으로 부터 분획한 중성지질, 당지질 및 인지질의 구성지질(脂質)과 구성지방산(脂肪酸)을 thin-layer chromatography 및 gas chromatography에 의하여 분리 정량하였다. 유리지질(遊離脂質) 중의 중성지질(中性脂質)로는 glyceride, free sterol, esterified sterol 주성분이었으나 결합지질(結合脂質)에는 triglyceride는 거의 없었고 free fatty acid와 monoglyceride가 소량 함유되어 있었다. 외과육(外果肉)의 유리지질(遊離脂質)에는 triglyceride가 25.7%로 훨씬 많았으나 결합지질에는 거의 함유되지 않은 것이 특이하였고 기타 성분은 미량 존재하였다. 유리지질(遊離脂質)중의 당지질(糖脂質)은 digalactosyl diglyceride, esterified steryl glycoside가 주성분이었으나 결합지질(結合脂質)은 digalactosyl diglyceride가 주성분이었다. trigalactosyl diglyceride가 유리지질에는 극히 적으나 결합지질에는 2.0% 함유되어 있다. 유리지질 중의 인지질(燐脂質)은 lysophosphatidyl choline, phosphatidyl inositol, phosphatidyl choline, phosphatidyl glycerol, phosphatidyl ethanolamine이 비교적 고른 분포를 보이고 있으며 결합지질(結合脂質) 중에는 phosphatidyl choline, phosphatidyl inositol이 주성분이었다. 중성지질(中性脂質)의 지방산조성(脂肪酸組成)은 linoleic acid가 유리지질과 결합지질에 각각 49.3%, 45.1%로 제일 많았고 linolenic acid, palmitic acid가 역시 주요 지방산(脂肪酸)이었다. 당지질(糖脂質)과 인지질(燐脂質)에 있어서도 그 경향(傾向)은 비슷하였으나 palmitic acid의 함량이 상대적으로 많아 포화지방산 함량이 중성지질보다 훨씬 많았으며 전체적으로 결합지질에 포화지방산 함량이 많았다.

Endpoint Depth When Removing Xanthelasma Using CO2 Laser Ablation: A Case Report

  • The carbon dioxide (CO2) laser is one of the treatment options used for xanthelasma palpebrarum. However, even if the full dermal layer is removed, the lesion can recur due to the residual lipid deposits. A 44-year-old male patient with xanthelasma on both upper eyelids was treated with a pulsed dye CO2 laser. On the right upper eyelid, we carried out a CO2 laser treatment until the yellowish plaque was almost invisible and the full thickness of the dermal layer was removed. On the left upper eyelid, the dermal layer was partially removed and an additional squeezing out of yellowish particles was done. The lesion treated by the squeezing out of lipid droplets showed better long-term results than the lesion treated up to the deeper dermal layer.

한국 근해에 서식하는 고래 피하지방의 층별 지방 함량 및 구성 변화 (Stratification of Lipid Content and Composition in Blubber of Marine Cetacean from Korean Waters)

  • Blubber plays different biological roles in cetaceans, including structural support, physiological demands (thermoregulation, streamlining, buoyancy, etc.), and energy storage. As such, biochemical composition, especially lipid, in the blubber may be vertically stratified in order to effectively assist with these functions. We analysed lipid content, class and fatty acid composition in the blubber of by-catch minke whale (Balaenoptera acutorostrata; n = 11), long-beaked common dolphin (Delphinus capensis; n = 3) and Pacific white-sided dolphin (Lagenorhynchus obiquidens; n = 2) from Korean waters. Lipid content for all three species ranged from 55 to 96% of wet weight, with a dominance of triacylglycerols. Vertical stratification of blubber lipid content was different between species. For minke whale and longbeaked common dolphin, it increased from inner (near the muscle) to outer (near the skin) layer, whereas it decreased for Pacific white-sided dolphin. Thirty-one fatty acids were found in all blubber samples and vertical stratification of fatty acid composition was similar among all three species. Among grouped fatty acids, monounsaturates were the most abundant, gradually increasing from inner to outer blubber layer, whereas polyunsaturates and saturates decreased. Such vertical stratification of lipid content and composition suggests that the modification and accumulation of lipid occur in the blubber itself in order to help cetaceans with their specific physiological needs.

  • 형광 강도 변화를 이용하여 세포막의 위상에 따른 하이드록시부티르산 혼입이 생체막에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 구형 인지질 이중층인 소포(vesicle)가 이중 에멀젼 기술을 통해 각 층 단위로 제조되었다. 소포 내부의 수성에는 아미노나프탈렌트리술폰산디소듐(ANTS)이 캡슐화되었으며, 소광제(quencher)로 자일렌비스피리디늄브로마이드(DPX)를 소포가 분산된 버퍼에 포함시켰다. 형광 등급은 100% 형광으로서 DPX가 포함된 완충액의 소포와 0% 형광으로서 ANTS와 DPX의 혼합물이 포함된 완충액의 소포를 고려하여 조정되었다. 소포 용액에 하이드록시부티르산 혼입은 막 구조의 변화를 유도하였으며, 이러한 변화는 하이드록시부티르산 대 지질의 비율에서 소포의 각 층의 상과 관련이 있는 것으로 관찰된다. 관찰된 결과는 머리 그룹과 꼬리 그룹 모두의 패킹 붕괴에 대한 삼투압 및 체적 효과로 인해 소포의 안정성에 의존하는 것으로 보인다.

식이지방의 종류와 Guar Gum의 첨가가 난소절제한 흰쥐의 지질대사에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Dietary Lipids and Guar Gum on Lipid Metabolism in Ovariectomized Rats)

  • This study examined the effect of dietary lipids and guar gum on lipid metabolism in ovariectomized rats. The experimental animals received ovarietomy (OVX). Lipids sources were divided into 3 groups (soybean oil(SB), beef tallow(BT)) and fish oil(FO)) and guar gum was supplemented to each lipid diet (SBG, BTG, FOG). Experimental diets were fed to therats for 16 weeks. Serum triglyceride (TG) levels were higher in the BT group and lower in the FO group as compared to the SB group .Serum total cholesterol (Tc) and HDL-C levels were lower in the FO group as compared to the SB group. Serum LDL-C and phospholipid levels were lower in the FO group as compared to the SB group. Serum lipids levels were lowered by guar gum supplement. Serum SFA(saturated fatty acids) contents were not significantly influenced by dietary lipids and guar gum. Serum MUFA(monounsaturated fatty acids) contents were the lowest in the SB group. Fecal weight was highest in the beef tallow group and lowest in the fish oil group. Fecal weight was increased by guar gum supplement in all lipid groups. Total bile acid content in feces was increased by guar gum supplement in the soybean oil and beef tallow groups. The endothelial cells of the beef tallow group changed from a flat shape to distorted round and enlarged shapes. The subendothelial layer was the thickness the thickest in the beef tallow group ; the interspace between elastic lamina was widened and elastic lamina was straightened and partly disrupted . The fish oil group showed more porminient endothelial cells and subendothelial layer. Internal elastic membrane and elastic lamina exhibited regularly wavy shapes. Guar gum supplement showed positive effects in all lipids groups. Based on the above results , it is suggested that beef tallow increased serum TG levels and injured the wall of the aorta. On the other hand, fish oil , which decreased serum lipid levels, has a positive effect on the walls of the aorta. Guar gum protects the aorta from injury by reducing the serum lipid levels. Therefore, it is suggested that soybean oil and beef tallow consumed with guar gum is beneficial.

  • The lipid classes constituents; hydrocarbons, wax esters, sterol esters, triacylglycerols, free fatty acids, 1,3-diacylglycerols, 1,2-diacylglycerols, free sterols, 2-monoacylglycerols, 1-monoacylglycerols, phosphatidylethanolamines, phosphatidylcholines, lysophosphatidylethanolamines and phosphatidylinositols of Nicotiana tabacum L. seeds oil were investigated by thin layer and gas chromatography. Palmitic, oleic and linoleic acids were the major components in all lipid classes studied.

한국산 호도의 단백질 및 지질의 조성에 관한 연구 (Studies on the Composition of Protein and Lipid from Korean Walnut (Juglans regia L.))

  • 한국산 호도의 단백질 및 지방성분을 gel filtration, polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, 아미노산분석기, thin layer chromatography 및 gas liquid chromatography에 의하여 분석하였고 그 일반성분은 조단백질의 22.18%, 조지질이 64.23%였다. 호도 단백질의 sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis에 의한 결과 12개의 band를 나타내었고 분획된 주단백질의 수득율은 60.67%였으며 이것의 분자량은 43,000이었다. 아미노산 조성은 17종류로써 glutamic acid가 38.60%로써 가장 많았고 다음은 arginine이 9.45%, aspartic acid가 6.55% 순으로 나타났으며 필수아미노산이 고르게 함유되어 있었다. 호도기름에는 중성지질이 93.05%이나 복합지질은 약 7.0%에 불과하였으며 중성지질의 성분으로써 82.05%가 triglyceride였고 sterol ester 및 유리지방산이 각각 3.85% 및 4.80%였다. 호도의 총지질과 중성, 당 및 인지질의 지방산 조성은 oleic acid 및 linoleic acid가 각각 $13.89{\sim}15.36%,\;64.48{\sim}69.98%$였고 중성지질에서 분별된 triglyceride의 지방산 조성은 linoleic acid가 69.98%로 가장 높은 함량이었다.

각국 인삼의 지방질성분에 관한 연구 제1보, 유리 지방질중의 지방질 및 지방산 조성 (Studies on the Lipid Components of Various Ginsengs 1. lipid and Fatty Acid Compositions of the Free Lipids)

  • Lipid and fatty acid compositions of the free lipids in Panax ginseng (Korea, Japan and China), Panax quinquefolium (America, Canada) and Panax notoginseng (China) were studied by means of silicic acid column chromatography, thin-layer chromatography and gas-liquid chromatography. Free lipid contents were 1.13 to 1.24% in panax ginseng and 0.87 to 1.18% in Panax quinquefolium and 0.39% in panax notoginseng. Neutral lipid fractions were 81.2 to 84.4%, while glycolipid fractions 8.01% to 14.47% and phospholipid fractions 3.49 to 5.74% in free lipid contents. The major components were triglycerides, free sterols, diglyceride, free fatty acids and sterol esters in neutral lipid fractions, sterol glucoside, monogalactosyl diglyceride, digalactosyl diglyceride, esterified steryl glucoside in glycolipid fractions and phosphatidyl glycerol, phosphatide, ethanolamine, phosphatidyl choline in phospholipid fractions. The contents and compositions of neutral lipids and glyclipids were some different among various ginsengs, whereas phospholipids showed relatively similar compositions in the contents. Seventeen fatty acids were analyzed in the four free lipid fractions from the various ginsengs and the main fatty acids were linoleic acid, palmitic acid, oleic acid and linolenic acid. It was found that the amounts of some fatty acids were different among the various ginsengs, but the fatty acid patterns of these ginsengs were on the whole similar.

  • Lipid and fatty acid compositions of the bound lipids in Panax quinquefolium (Korea, Japan and China), Panax quinquefolium (America, Canada) and Panax notoginseng (China) were studied by means of silicic acid column chromatography, thin-layer chromatography and gas-liquid chromatography. The could lipid contents in various ginsengs were 0.29 to 0.48%, in which neutral lipid fractions were 63.6 to 67.3%, glycolipid fractions 21.9 to 25.7% and phospholipid fractions 7.7 to 12.4%. The content compositions of neutral lipid fractions were lower and those of glycolipid and phospholipid fractions were higher in the bound lipids than in the free lipids from the various ginseng. The major components were fatty acids, diglycerides and free sterols in neutral lipid fractions, monogalactosyl diglyceride, sterol glucoside and esterified steryl g1ycoside in glycolipid fractions and phosphatidyl glycerol, phosphatidyl ethanolamine and phosphatidic acid in phosphoipid fractions. Seventeen fatty acids were analyzed in the four bound lipid fractions from the various ginsengs and main fatty acids were linoleic acid, palmitic acid and oleic acid. Total saturated fatty acid and palmitic acid contents were higher and total unsaturated fatty acid and linoleic acid contents lower in the total bound lipids than in the total free lipids from the various ginsengs.
