사판식 액셜피스톤 펌프-레귤레이터계의 선형화해석에 의한 유압제어특성 고찰 (A Study on Hydraulic Control Characteristics of a Swashplate Type Axial Piston Pump-Regulator System by Linearization Analysis)

  • The regulator system has been modeled and combined to a swashplate type axial piston pump. Linear approximation has been performed for nonlinear coefficient terms of an axial piston pump-regulator model without significantly affecting accuracy. Based on the mathematical model of an axial piston pump-regulator system, a couple of characteristic curves of negative flow control and horsepower control are drawn, which show a good correlation with those of experimental results. So the simplified axial piston pump-regulator model in this paper is expected to be utilized not only for the design and analysis of hydraulic circuit of excavator but also for prevention of engine overload.

  • In the study, it is considered sporty car as 1400cc entry cars using sound generator. These cars are required special sound quality, also sporty sound quality. The operational principle of this sound generator system is that on the operation of the engine intake valves caused pulsating is to shake the membrane of the sound generator on the inside of the driver front dash panel through the intake manifold, which will deliver the required sound quality and tone. For the component constructed sound generator, main design parameters are selected and optimized using the daguchi's method. The results are as follows; The C2 sound level must be minimized and C4 level must be maximized. And also overall level keeps linear characteristics.

  • Nonlinear analysis methods are developed which will enable the reliable prediction of the dynamic behavior of the space shuttle main engine(SSME) turbopumps in the presence of bearing clearances and other local nonlinearities. A computationally efficient convolution method, based on discretized Duhamel and transition matrix integral formulations, is developed for the transient analysis. In the formulation, the coupling forces due to the onlinearities are treated as external forces acting on the coupled subsystems. Iteration is utilized to determine their magnitudes at each time increament. The method is applied to a nonlinear generic model of the high pressure oxygen turthods, the convolution approach proved to be more accurate and highly more efficient. For determining the nonlinear, steady-state periodic responses, an incremental harmonic balance(IHB) method was also developed. The method was successfully used to determine dominantly harmonic and subharmonic(subsynchronous) responses of the HPOTP generic model with bearing clearances. A reduction method similar to the impedance formulation utilized with linear systems is used to reduce the housing-totor models to their coordinates at the bearing clearances.

  • 본 논문에서는 Free Piston 엔진용 5kw급 원통형 선형 발전기의 개발에 관하여 기술한다. 발전기의 주요 특성인 역기전력과 디텐트력은 유한요소법을 이용하여 해석하였으며 디텐트력의 저감을 위해 더미슬롯과 극피치 조정법을 적용하였다. 제안된 설계안은 실제 제작되었고 실험을 통해 검증되었다.

Effects of Various Baffle Designs on Acoustic Characteristics in Combustion Chamber of Liquid Rocket Engine

  • Effects of various baffle designs on acoustic characteristics in combustion chamber are numerically investigated by adopting linear acoustic analysis. A hub-blade configuration with five blades is selected as a candidate baffle and five variants of baffles with various specifications are designed depending on baffle height and hub position. As damping parameters, natural-frequency shift and damping factor are considered and the damping capacity of various baffle designs is evaluated. Increase in baffle height results in more damping capacity and the hub position affects appreciably the damping of the first radial resonant mode. Depending on baffle height, two close resonant modes could be overlapped and thereby the damping factor for one resonant mode is increased exceedingly. The present procedure based on acoustic analysis is expected to be a useful tool to predict acoustic field in combustion chamber and to design the passive control devices such as baffle and acoustic resonator.

오일입자 원심분리기 유동장의 수치해석적 연구 (A Numerical Study on the Flowfield of a Cyclone Separator for Oil Droplets)

  • The cyclone separator is a simple device, which causes the centrifugal separation of materials such as droplets or particles in a fluid stream. The cyclone separator utilizes the energy obtained from fluid pressure and linear motion to create rotational fluid motion. This rotational motion leads the materials suspended in the fluid to separate from the fluid quickly due to the centrifugal force. The rotation is produced by the tangential or involuted introduction of fluid into the vessel. These materials may be droplets of fuel in blow-by gas through an engine. Droplets suspended in the feed liquid may separate according to size, shape, or density. And the change of part dimension in a cyclone separator can yield the its performance variation. The current study shows the influence of design parameters on the performance of a cyclone separator for blow-by gas.

  • In this study, a simulation tool is developed in order to investigate non steadystate cornering performance of 4WD/4WS vehicles. The 4WD/4WS vehicles are modeled as a 8-th order dynamic system which includes complex non-linear vehicle dynamics and tire models. The vehicle models are constructed into a modulated simulation tool and are utilized for analyzing cornering performance such as combined braking and steering, cornering on the icy read and $\mu$-split braking, The whole analysis is done with the simulation tool which consists of a number of subsystems and offers graphic environment. Simulation results show that this tool is useful and cost-effective in the dynamic analysis of the combustion-engine vehicles as well as electrically driven vehicles.

Active Noise Cancellation using a Teacher Forced BSS Learning Algorithm

  • In this paper, we propose a new Active Noise Control (ANC) system using a teacher forced Blind Source Separation (BSS) algorithm. The Blind Source Separation based on the Independent Component Analysis (ICA) separates the desired sound signal from the unwanted noise signal. In the proposed system, the BSS algorithm is used as a preprocessor of ANC system. Also, we develop a teacher forced BSS learning algorithm to enhance the performance of BSS. The teacher signal is obtained from the output signal of the ANC system. Computer experimental results show that the proposed ANC system in conjunction with the BSS algorithm effectively cancels only the ship engine noise signal from the linear and convolved mixtures with human voice.

  • 디텐트력은 철심형 영구 자석 전기기기의 구조상 피할 수 없는 기기 특성이며 원통형 선형발전기에서도 기기의 정상적인 동작을 방해하는 요인으로 작용한다. 특히 정격 외부 입력이 작은 경우 디텐트력은 기기의 성능에 크게 영향을 미칠 수 있으며 이를 저감할 수 있는 설계가 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 여러 가지의 디텐트력 저감법 중 이동자의 극 피치 조정을 통해 디텐트력을 저감하고자 하였다. 극피치의 변화는 디텐트력 외에도 역기전력 파형에 영향을 주게 되므로, 기기의 목표 성능을 만족하기 위해서는 디텐트력과 역기전력을 함께 고려하여야 한다. 제안된 설계안은 유한요소법을 이용하여 해석되었으며 이를 통해 얻어진 결과를 고려하여 최종 모델을 도출하였다.
