Load Distribution Factors for Hollow Core Slabs with In-situ Reinforced Concrete Joints

  • This paper provides the engineer with a simple design method dealing with situations arise where in-situ reinforced concrete joints are cast between hollow core units. Using finite element method, hollow core slabs with wide in-situ RC joints under point load and line loads are analysed. In addition, some important behavioural characteristics of the floor slab subjected to line and point loads are investigated. In-situ reinforced concrete joint causes reduction of load distribution for remote units because distance to the remote units from the point of load is increased, while the portion of load distribution carried by loaded unit increases. Also, it was turned out load distribution factors for point load and line loads are almost same. Finally, we suggest a simple analytical method, which can determine load distribution factors using normalized deflections by regression analysis for design purposes.

  • An efficiency improving method for Uninterruptible Power Supply System(UPS) was developed by using OP-AMP based application circuits such as voltage detection device, current detection device and static switch control device. The efficiency improving algorithm was made by mixing the operating concepts of On-Line type UPS with the operating concepts of Off-Line type UPS. The UPS' inverter does not work if the UPS' output load current is not higher than the low load operating current which is about 0-30(%) of the UPS' output load capacity. The low load operating current is adjustable within the half of the UPS' output load capacity. If the UPS' output load current is rising over than the low load operating current, the UPS' inverter starts working and the inverter output power feeds to the loads of UPS. If UPS' input power breaks out while UPS' inverter does not operate because the load current is low, the inverter starts working within 4(ms) with excessive output voltage which is ${\pm}$8(%) of normal UPS' output voltage. Like these. UPS can continuously feeds power to it's load device and reduce power consumptions.

${\lambda}/4$ 전송선로를 이용한 부하단 임피던스 측정방법에 관한 연구 (A study of measurement of the unknown load impedance using sectioned transmission line)

  • 본 논문에서는 물리적인 환경 변화에 의해 발생될 수 있는 갑작스런 부하단 임피던스의 변화를 정확히 측정할 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다. 부하단 임피던스 측정방법으로 ${\lambda}/4$ 전송선로(Sectioned Transmission Line) 상에서 측정된 전압을 이용하여 임의의 부하단 임피던스를 구하는 수식을 유도하였고, 계산된 수식의 결과 중 유효한 결과 만을 선택하는 부하단 임피던스 결정 알고리즘을 도출하였다. 제안된 임의의 부하단 임피던스 계산 수식과 부하단 임피던스 결정 알고리즘을 다양한 부하단이 적용된 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증하였고, 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 임의로 설정한 부하단 임피던스를 정확하게 찾아 주는 것을 확인하였다.

  • Through machine learning-based load prediction, it is possible to prevent excessive power generation or unnecessary economic investment by estimating the appropriate amount of facility investment in consideration of the load that will increase in the future or providing basic data for policy establishment to distribute the maximum load. However, in order to secure the reliability of the developed load prediction model in the field, the performance comparison verification between the distribution line load prediction models must be preceded, but a comparative performance verification system between the distribution line load prediction models has not yet been established. As a result, it is not possible to accurately determine the performance excellence of the load prediction model because it is not possible to easily determine the likelihood between the load prediction models. In this paper, we developed a reliability verification system for load prediction models including a method of comparing and verifying the performance reliability between machine learning-based load prediction models that were not previously considered, verification process, and verification result visualization methods. Through the developed load prediction model reliability verification system, the objectivity of the load prediction model performance verification can be improved, and the field application utilization of an excellent load prediction model can be increased.

  • The stringing load was added to tower design that consider the active load in 765kV transmission line construction. The nominal auxiliary members of steell tubular tower arm were altered into stress members by means of three dimensional design analysis method. 765kV transmission line construction also use self-standing tower that does not install temporary wire which support the section tower placed between drum field and engine field when stringing process.

전력선 통신 채널 모델링에 관한 연구 (A study on the channel modeling for power line communication)

  • 본 논문은 전력선 통신 실험을 보다 빠르고 효율적으로 수행할 수 있는 전력선 채널 모델링에 관한 것이다. 용량성 부하 채널 시뮬레이터는 댁내망 전력선 모뎀 개발에 있어서 필수적인 실험 장비이다. 실제 전력선 채널 환경을 모델링한 이 실험 장비를 이용한 총 245 개의 용량성 부하 채널에 대하여 주파수 응답법에 의한 채널 모델링을 행하였다. 용량성 부하 채널 시뮬레이터를 사용한 실험 데이터 결과와 모델링된 채널 필터를 통과한 결과를 비교하였을 때 큰 오차 없이 실제 전력선 통신상의 용량성 부하 실험을 대체할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

실동하중에 의한 강판형교의 교통하중 분포 (The Distribution of the Normal Traffic Loads on the Steel Plate Girder Bridge)

  • The objectives of the study are to know the strain distribution and modal dynamic behaviour of steel bridge girders by actual traffic load. The live load effect depends on many parameters including the span length, gross vehicle weight, axle weight, axle configuration so on. For the estimation of static and dynamic characteristic, strain data caused by moving loads and traffic characteristics of passing vehicle under actual traffic load have measured using Bridge Weigh in Motion. To confirm the reliability of BWIM system, strain data measured using the $120{\Omega}$ strain gauge under the same condition. It is considered that the data acquired from BWIM system have reliability through the analysis and comparison between stress measured by strain data from BWIM and computed by FEM. Additionally according to the measured strain data of up-line and down-line on the highway, the up-line bridge grows more faster than the down-line bridge and girder 4 and 5 carry more load when vehicles pass the inner line and girder 2 and 3 does when vehicles pass the outer line as this case(the bridge composed with 5 girders).

Optimisation of symmetric laminates with internal line supports for maximum buckling load

  • Finite element solutions are presented for the optimal design of symmetrically laminated rectangular plates with various types of internal line supports. These plates are subject to a combination of simply supported, clamped and free boundary conditions. The design objective is the maximisation of the biaxial buckling load. This is achieved by determining the fibre orientations optimally with the effects of bending-twisting coupling taken into account. The finite element method coupled with an optimisation routine is employed in analysing and optimising the laminated plate designs. The effect of internal line support type and boundary conditions on the optimal ply angles and the buckling load are numerically studied. The laminate behavior with respect to fibre orientation changes significantly in the presence of internal line supports as compared to that of a laminate where there is no internal supporting. This change in behavior has significant implications for design optimisation as the optimal values of design variables with or without internal supporting differ substantially.

힘측정판과 레이저 광을 이용한 정적 의족정렬장치의 개발 (Development of a Static Prosthesis-Alignment Device Using a Force Plate and a Laser Light)

  • 의족착용자의 보행에 있어서 의족의 정렬은 매우 중요하나, 정량적이고 다양한 의족에 공통적으로 적용할 수 있는 정렬방법이 아직 소개되지 않고 있다. 본 연구를 통해서 load cell, 레이저, 이송 가이드로 구성되는 정적 의족정렬시스템을 개발되었다. 개발된 시스템을 24명의 남자성인과 4명의 하퇴의족착용자에게 적용하여 직립자세와 전방, 후방ㅇ로 기운 자세에서 족관절, 슬관절, 대전자, 어깨관절등과 하중선과의 상대적 위치를 측정하였다. 정상인의 중립자세에서 하중선의 위치는 외과, 슬관절, 견관절에서는 앞쪽에 그러나 대전자에서는 뒤쪽에 있었다. 정상인이 앞쪽으로 최대한 기운 자세에서 외과와 슬관절, 대전자는 하중선의 뒤쪽에 위치하였으나 견관절은 앞쪽에 위치하였다. 그러나 뒤쪽으로 기운 자세의 경우, 하중선은 견관절을 제외한 모든 곳의 뒤쪽에 위치하였다. 의족착용자의 환측의 하중선은 족관절, 슬관절, 대전자, 견관절 모두의 전방에 위치하였으며, 의족착용자의 건측에서의 하중선의 위치는 정상인의 경우와 통계적으로 유사하였다. 본 연구를 통해서 개발된 정적 의족정렬시스템은 의족 착용자는 물론, 정상인들의 하중선과 주요 관절과의 상대적 위치를 파악하는데 매우 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
