Objectives : Juglandis Semen herbal acupuncture solution(JSS) has a broad array of clinical applications in oriental medicine, including treatment of chronic musculoskeletal diseases such as arthritis. This study was performed to investigate the global gene expression profiles using microarray assay in RAW 264.7 cell line treated with JSS and to advance our understanding of the pharmacologic effect of JSS. Methods : Change of the gene expression profile in RAW cell line following treatment with lipopolysaccharide(LPS) alone, or with LPS plus JSS was investigated with a cut-off level of 2 fold change in the expression. Especially, Change of the gene expression by treatment with LPS alone was compared with that by treatment with LPS plus JSS with a cut-off level of 1/2 fold change in the expression. Results: Of the 8170 genes profiled in this study, 51 were upragulated and 21 downregulated following LPS treatment, and 88 were upregulated and 69 downregulated following costimulation of JSS and LPS. Of the 51 genes upregulated following LPS treatment, 10 were downregulated following costimulation of JSS and LPS. Of the 21 genes downregulated following LPS treatment, 3 were upregulated following costimulation of JSS and LPS. Conclusion : JSS treatment induced upregulation of some genes including IL-10 and downregulation of that including MMP13 with its possible implication in an antiinflammatory action of JSS. However, further research on expression profile changes induced by JSS treatment is expected.

The purpose of this paper is to describe the design and implementation of an unmanned ground vehicle, called the TailGator at CIMAR (Center for Intelligent Machines and Robotics) of the University of Florida. The TailGator is a gas powered, four-wheeled vehicle that was designed for the AUVSI Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition and has been tested in the contest for 2 years. The vehicle control model and design of the sensory systems are described. The competition is comprised of two events called the Autonomous Challenge and the Navigation Challenge: For the autonomous challenge, line following, obstacle avoidance, and detection are required. Line following is accomplished with a camera system. Obstacle avoidance and detection are accomplished with a laser scanner. For the navigation challenge, waypoint following and obstacle detection are required. The waypoint navigation is implemented with a global positioning system. The TailGator has provided an educational test bed for not only the contest requirements but also other studies in developing artificial intelligence algorithms such as adaptive control, creative control, automatic calibration, and internet-base control. The significance of this effort is in helping engineering and technology students understand the transition from theory to practice.
The author analyzed 51 Korean male adults and 53 female adults with normal occlusion roentgenocephalometrically and following conclusions were obtained. 1. The angle between the Camper line and the maxillary occlusal line was $-6.22^{\circ}$ in male and $-4.76^{\circ}$ in female. There was not a considerable difference between male and female. 2. The angle formed by the Camper line and the Frankfort Horizontal line was $18.01^{\circ}$ in male and $17.3^{\circ}$ in female. Not a significant difference was found in both sexes. 3. The angles of NSL-$OL_s$, NSL-FH and $OL_s$-FH showed no considerable differences in both sexes.
The Debao pony ear marginal tissue fibroblast cell line (NDPEM 2/2) was uccessfully established using either primary explant technique or collagenase technique. The characterizations of the cell line were identified as following: the cells were adherent and of density limitation; population doubling time (PDT) of cells made with the two techniques were 35.9 h and 48 h, respectively; chromosome analysis showed that the frequency of cell chromosome number to be 2n=64 was 91.3%-92.8%. Confirmed by isoenzyme analysis, this cell line had no cross- contamination. Tests for microbial contamination from bacteria, fungi, virus or mycoplasma were negative. This newly established cell line meets all the standard quality controls of ATCC. It will provide a precious genetic resource for the conservation of the Debao pony breed, as well as effective experimental material for genetic studies on Debao ponies.
Nishikida et al. (2006) presented the first far-ultraviolet (FUV) em${\lambda}$ission-line images of the Vela supernova remnant (SNR) obtained with FIMS/SPEAR instrument. Those include C III ${\lambda}$977, O VI ${\lambda}{\lambda}$1032, 1038, Si IV+O IV] ${\lambda}{\lambda}$1393, 1403 (un-resolved), C IV ${\lambda}{\lambda}$1548, 1551 emission-line images. As a following work, we re-constructed these emission-line images using the new-version processed FIMS/SPEAR data. Additionally, we made N IV] ${\lambda}$1486, He II ${\lambda}$1640.5, O III] ${\lambda}{\lambda}$1661, 1666 emission-line images. The new-version images cover the whole region of the Vela SNR and show more resolved features than the old-version. We compare these FUV emission-line images with other wavelength (X-ray, optical, etc.) images obtained in previous studies.
The purpose of this study is to find proper strategies for the reinforcement of brand image in the online insurance retail stores. First, from theoretical backgrounds, I have investigated acquisition effects, strategies for changing brand image, decisions on a product position and product differentiation under various strategic marketing factors based on the reinforcement strategies of brand image. Second, there is a significant difference between corporate/on-line insurance retail store names recalled first and brand names recalled first. Third, in terms of consumers' preferences, there exists a substantial difference between corporate/on-line insurance retail stores and brands. From this study, the following conclusions are drawn. First, on-line insurance retail stores and brand image should be carefully developed and used as a tool to secure competitive advantages. Second, on-line insurance retail stores and brand image should be considered and continuously enhanced as an important asset for the on-line insurance retail stores. As the importance of brands grows, brand management is an essential step for powering brands.

Finally we present the operation result of test line.
One of the main problems in 3D shape measuring systems that use the triangulation of line-shaped laser light is precise center line detection of line-shaped laser stripe. The intensity of a line-shaped laser light stripe on the CCD image varies following to the reflection angles, colors and shapes of objects. In this paper, a new center line detection algorithm to compensate the local intensity variation on a line-shaped laser light stripe is proposed. The 3-D surface shape measuring system using the proposed center line detection algorithm can measure 3-D surface shape with enhanced measurement resolution by using the dynamic shape reconstruction with adaptive pattern clustering of the line-shaped laser light. This proposed 3-D shape measuring system can be easily applied to practical situations of measuring 3-D surface by virtue of high speed measurement and compact hardware compositions.
Cucumber fruit mottle mosaic tobamovirus (CFMMV) causes severe mosaic symptoms with yellow mottling on leaves and fruits, and occasionally severe wilting of cucumber plants. No genetic source of resistance against this virus has been identified. The genes coding for the coat protein or the putative 54-kDa replicase were cloned into binary vectors under control of the SVBV promoter. Agrobacterium-mediated transformation was peformed on cotyledon explants of a parthenocarpic cucumber cultivar with superior competence for transformation. R1 seedlings were evaluated for resistance to CFMMV infection by lack of symptom expression, back inoculation on an alternative host and ELISA. From a total of 14 replicase-containing R1 lines, 8 exhibited immunity, while only 3 resistant lines were found among a total of 9 CP-containing lines. Line 144 homozygous for the 54-kDa replicase was selected for further resistance analysis. Line 144 was immune to CFMMV infection by mechanical and graft inoculation, or by root infection following planting in CFMMV-contaminated soil. Additionally, line 144 showed delay of symptom appearance following infection by other cucurbit-infecting tobamoviruses. Infection of line 144 plants with various potyviruses and cucumber mosaic cucumovirus did not break the resistance to CFMMV. The mechanism of resistance of line 144 appears to be RNA-mediated, however the means is apparently different from the gene silencing phenomenon. Homozygote line 144 cucumber as rootstock demonstrated for the first time protection of a non-transformed scion from soil inoculation with a soil borne pathogen, CFMMV.
