근거리의 자외선 비가시거리 통신에 관한 연구 (Study on Short-range Non-line-of-sight Ultraviolet Communication)

  • 기존의 무선 RF 통신은 근거리에서 전력손실이 상대적으로 크고, 전파간섭 및 방해, 재밍 등에 민감하다. 이러한 단점을 보완하는 대안으로 자외선을 이용한 통신 방식에 대한 연구가 최근 관심을 받고 있다. 본 논문에서 자외선을 이용한 비가시거리 통신의 data rate 특성에 대해 시뮬레이션한 결과를 제시하였다. On-off keying 방식을 사용하는 비가시거리 자외선 통신에서 data rate는 송신 빔의 방향, 수신빔의 빔 폭, 송신 전력에 의해 큰 영향을 받는다는 것을 확인하였다.

Flare Skirt의 재단 조건에 따른 Marking 효율에 관한 연구 (A Study on Marking Efficiency Made by Different Conditions of the Flare Skirt)

  • The purpose of this study is to find the proper width of fabric which can bring high efficiency on productivity. We focus on the marking method by comparing and analyzing the marking efficiency of flare skirt. This study employs 4 criteria to mark the flare skirt, which are angle, location, width, and direction, respectively. There can be 3 different angles$(180^{\circ},\;270^{\circ},\;360^{\circ})$, and 2 different locations(the center line and the middle of the pattern) according to fixing of the warp line of the fabric. Also, width can be classified into 2 groups(110cm, 150cm), and marking direction can be grouped into 2(one direction marker and one direction per each size marker). These 4 criteria make $24(3{\times}2{\times}2{\times}2)$ cases for this study. Main findings are follows. Fist, the skirt with the 150cm width has higher efficiency rate than that of 110cm. Second, fixing the warp line at the center line has higher efficiency rate than that in the middle. Finally, per size marker has much higher efficiency than the just direction marker. In sum, we find that 150cm width with the center warp line and per size marker brings the highest efficiency rate.

  • 상수도관망에서 발생하는 누수현상은 수자원의 손실뿐만 아니라 압력손실로 인한 추가적 가압 설비의 필요성 및 누수 되는 관로 주변의 토질의 약화 등을 초래하여 관망의 유지관리를 어렵게 하고, 심각한 경제적 손실을 야기하고 있다. 본 연구는 구역고립으로 인한 수압과 유량 등을 상시 모니터링 하여 누수사고의 적극적인 대처와 누수발생을 미연에 방지함으로써 유수율을 향상시킬 수 있다. 실제 구역고립 후 계속되는 수압조절 및 유입유량의 모니터링에 인하여 구역 내 유수율 산정결과 평균 유수율은 88.94%로서 부산광역시 2003년도의 유수율 79.5%보다 9.44% 높게 조사되었다.

전력선 주파수를 이용한 가시광 채널의 시분할 전송 (Time Division Transmission of Visible Light Channels Using Power Line Frequency)

  • In this paper, we developed a new method to transmit multiple visible light channels in time division mode using the AC power line frequency in order to prevent the crosstalk between adjacent optical signals. Synchronizing pulses are generated from the 220 V power line, and one pulse period is subdivided into several time slots for visible light channels. Each channel transmits data in a predefined time slot without interfering adjacent channels. In experiments, synchronizing pulses with a repetition rate of 240 Hz were generated from the 60 Hz power line, and three VLC channels with a bit rate of 9.6 kbps transmitted data independently using the time slots between synchronizing pulses. This configuration is very useful in constructing time division VLC networks for multiple sensors.

  • The efficient and rational transmission tariff structure is one of the crucial factors in creation of fair and competitive electricity markets. Transmission charge can be largely categorized into the line usage charge, system reliability charge, access charge and others. Any transmission tariff should be able to reflect these cost components reasonably. This paper suggests an approach amenable to allocating the transmission reliability costs reasonably with reflection of line sensitivity and line outage rate.

  • A CCD camera with a laser stripe was applied to realize the automatic weld seam tracking in GMAW. It takes relatively long time to process image on-line control using the basic Hough transformation, but it has a tendency of robustness over the noises such as spatter and arc light. For this reason. it was complemented with adaptive Hough transformation to have an on-line processing ability for scanning specific weld points. The adaptive Hough transformation was used to extract laser stripes and to obtain specific weld points. The 3-dimensional information obtained from the vision system made it possible to generate the weld torch path and to obtain the information such as width and depth of weld line. We controled the wire feeding rate using informations of weld line.

  • This paper addresses an intelligent robot control system using an off-line programming to teach a precise assembly task of electronic components in a flexible way. The investigated task consists of three job: heat caulking test, soldering on a circuit board, and checking of soldering defects on the back cover of a camera. This study investigates the remodelling of the most complicated cell in terms of the accuracy and fault rate among the twelve cells in a camera back-cover assembly line. We have attempted to enhance back-cover assembly line. We have attempted to enhance soldering quality, to add task flexibility, to reduce failure rate, and to increase product reliability. This study modifies the cell structure, and improves the soldering condition. The developed all system implements the real-time control of assembly with vision data, and realized an easier task teaching on off-line programming.

수도권 도시철도 환승율 및 실수송수요 분석 (Transfer Rate and Actual Ridership of Urban Railways in the Seoul Metropolitan Area)

  • Although the transferring is one of the most important factors in urban railways, there is very little analytic research in the transfer-related field. This paper analyses the transfer rate of urban railways in the Seoul Metropolitan Area and the actual passenger boardings and alightings at transfer stations using the AFC(Automatic Fare Collector) O/D data collected doling Sep. 2000. According to the results of this study the transfer rate is 0.657, which is calculated from the transfer hoardings/initial boardings. And the actual ridership of Subway Line 2 and Line 5 are different from the data which was provided by the AFC.

  • This study was carried out to compare farrowing rate and litter traits for European and American lines with boar sperm frozen in straws. Farrowing rate, litter size and mean pig weght at birth and 21 days were investigated. A total of 36 gilts Landrace, Large white and Duroc were investigated at the Chungnam Provincial Animal Breeding Station. We obtained higher farrowing rate and litter traits for European line boars compared to American line boars.

BcI-2 Over-expression Reduced the Serum Dependency and Improved the Nutrient Metabolism in a NS0 Cells Culture

  • The over-expression of Bcl-2 has greatly improved the culture period, specific growth rate, and maximum viable cell density of NS0 cells culture under low serum condition. Further analysis of these data suggests that a saturation model of the Monod type can be used to represent the relationships of specific growth rate and initial serum concentration. The ${\mu}_{max}$ and $K_s$ for the Bcl-2 cell line is $0.927day^{-1}\;and\;0.947\%(v/v)$ respectively, which are $21\%$ greate and $7\%$ lower respectively than its control counterpart. Study on the amino acid supplementation revealed that Bcl-2 cell lines possess greater improvement in the specific growth rate and maximum viable cell density compared to the control cell lines. A further increase in the amino acid supplementation has resulted a $17\%$ decrease in specific growth rate and no improvement in maximum viable cell density in the control culture. However, the Bcl-2 cell line exhibited a better growth characteristic in this culture condition compared to that of control cell lines. The higher specific growth rate and maximum viable cell density of the Bcl-2 cell line in medium fortified with serum and MEM EM suggested a more efficient nutrient metabolism compared to that in the control cell line. The low serum and amino acid utilisation rate and the higher cell yield may prove to be important in the development of serum/protein free culture.
