감각 신경을 포함한 견갑 피판술의 결과 (Scapular Free Flap with Sensory Function)

  • Purpose: To report the results and the efficacy of the sensory bearing scapular free flap which is known as non-sensible flap. Materials and Methods: Authors underwent 24 cases of sensory bearing scapular free flap to the hands and feet from March 1995 to November 2002. average follow-up period was six year three months. The used flaps were a ordinary scapular flap in fifteen cases, and a parascapular flap in nine. Sensibility of the flaps were checked every one month. Actual sensory evaluation was mostly depends on objective feeling of the patients. Two point discrimination test was performed in all cases. Results: 23 flaps had good skin circulation after microvascular anastomosis among 24. Objective deep touch sensation were observed about three months later after the operation in three cases, between three and six months in nine. In three case whose results were excellent than others, two point discrimination was 2.7 cm at last follow-up. Most of the sensory recovery is confined in deep touch, temperature and light touch sensation was recovered limitedly in 3 cases during our follow-up period. Conclusion: Authors can propose that sensory bearing free scapular flap was considered as one of useful methods for the reconstruction to hand with soft tissue defect and mutilating hand.

침장용 PLA 섬유에 대한 저온 경화유제에 관한 연구 (Study on Low Temperature Curing Emulsion of PLA Fiber for Bedding)

  • Polyester is mainly used as a bedding filler material. PLA fiber as an eco-friendly material for substituting polyester has a low melting temperature and therefore a hardening process is impossible. This study is to develop the oil for feather touch that can treat at the melting temperature of PLA. The slippery and soft aminosilicone emulsion, and the bulky epoxysilicone emulsion were used. They had proper viscosity and particle size for flexibility and elasticity. When using methoxy aminosilane [$H_2NSi(OCH_3)_3$] as an aminosilane and [$Zn(OCOCH_3)_2$] as a catalyst, the hardening reaction was fast and effective. Feather touch process were treated by 2 steps. At first step, aminosilicone emulsion, epoxysilicone emulsion and methylaminosilane were mixed and homogenized, and at second step, 5% blened solution of the first step, Zn catalyst 1%, distilled water 94% were treated at PLA fiber. After treatment the static friction coefficient and dynamic friction coefficient were reduced to 23.5-60.8% and 30.0-61.3% respectively, and the laundry and sun light fastnesses have not shown any decrease.

감각적 자극에 따른 신생아 반응에 관한 연구 -심박동수를 중심으로- (A Study of the influence of stimulus on newborn infant생s response -Specifically in heart rate change-)

  • Early extra-uterine development of the newborn infant has the potential for clarifying important questions of nature and care taking environment. In this study, tactile and auditory stimulation is used on .a group of infants to determine the effects of their response. Infants were tested by EKG at 24∼48 hrs after birth ana all they are free from complication. Stimuli presented were-touch and sound (40dB, 70dB and 40∼70dB). The result of the study were as follows: 1) The heart rate was seen to depend on their sleep-wake state. (light sleep ; 125/min, eyes: open & motor activity increase ; 151/min crying ; 185/min). 2) The heart rate affected by tactile & auditory stimulus. The heart rate response was acceleration above the prestimulus level. (tactile, 231min increase, auditory ; 16∼21/min increase), and heart rate change was seen to depend on prestimulus rate. (γ=.73) 3) There was a decrease in heart rate when they were soothe. (touch ; 24.8sec, 21/min decrease, pacifier ; 14.5sec, 26/min decrease) and significant difference in time between touch and pacifier (t= 1.76, p<0.05). This result support the evaluation of newborn infant's sensory abilitics, and has even begin to influence changes in nursing care. But systemic monitoring of newborn infants response would. further define.

적외선 카메라를 이용한 에어 인터페이스 시스템(AIS) 연구 (A Study on Air Interface System (AIS) Using Infrared Ray (IR) Camera)

  • 본 논문에서는 기계적인 조작 장치 없이 손동작만으로 컴퓨터를 조작할 수 있는 차세대 인터페이스인 에어 인터페이스를 구현하였다. 에어 인터페이스 시스템 구현을 위해 먼저 적외선의 전반사 원리를 이용하였으며, 이후 획득된 적외선 영상에서 손 영역을 분할한다. 매 프레임에서 분할된 손 영역은 이벤트 처리를 위한 손동작 인식부의 입력으로 사용되고, 최종적으로 개별 제어 이벤트에 맵핑된 손동작 인식을 통하여 일반적인 제어를 수행하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 손영역 검출과 추적, 손동작 인식과정을 위해 구현되어진 영상처리 및 인식 기법들이 소개되며, 개발된 에어 인터페이스 시스템은 길거리 광고, 프레젠테이션, 키오스크 등의 그 활용성이 매우 클 것으로 기대된다.

FTIR 터치스크린 아크릴 계면의 전반사 현상 연구 (A Study on Incompletion of TIR within Acrylate of FTIR Touch Screen)

  • FTIR (Frustrated Total Internal Reflection) 터치스크린에서 아크릴 내의 전반사(TIR) 현상이 깨지는 원인을 조사하였다. 먼저 3층 박막(매질1 ($n_1$)-매질2 ($n_2$)-매질3 ($n_3$), $n_1=n_3{\neq}n_2$에서 굴절율의 상대적인 크기에 따라 매질1에서 FTIR 또는 매질1로부터 매질3으로 일반투과(Ordinary Transmission : OT) 현상이 나타남을 확인하고, 이들(FTIR과 OT)의 투과율 이론값은 인접한 두 반사광(또는 투과광)들의 위상차의 실수화 또는 허수화 과정을 통해 서로 전환됨을 이론적으로 유도하였다. 이와 병행하여 터치스크린에 손가락과 같은 외부 접촉에 의해 아크릴판(acrylate) 내에 형성된 전반사 조건이 깨지는 현상을 분석하였다. 이러한 분석과 실험을 토대로, 접촉 인식을 좋게 하기 위한 투명하고 굴절율이 아크릴과 유사한 젖음성 매체(wettable medium)를 적용한 FTIR 터치스크린 구조를 제안하였다.

Transient Receptor Potential Ion Channels and Animal Sensation: Lessons from Drosophila Functional Research

  • Ion channels of the transient receptor potential (TRP) superfamily are non-selective cationic channels with six transmembrane domains. The TRP channel made its first debut as a light-gated $Ca^{2+}$ channel in Drosophila. Recently, research on animal sensation in Drosophila disclosed other members of the TRP family that are required for touch sensation and hearing as well as the sensation of painful stimuli.

  • Reiki is a form of energy therapy in which the therapist, with or without light touch, is believed to access universal energy sources that can strengthen the body's ability to heal itself, reduce inflammation, and relieve pain and stress. There is currently no licensing for Reiki nor, given its apparent low risk, is there likely to be. Reiki appears to be generally safe, and serious adverse effects have not been reported. So in this article provides coverage of how to use Reiki in oncology services.

  • The CFHT currently has three instruments running in QSO mode and one in Classical mode. I will touch on the capabilities of these instruments and give an update on the future instrumentation at CFHT. One new instrument, SITELLE, is scheduled to be delivered to CFHT at the end of the year. Another instrument which is a proof of concept is GRACES which should see first light during the summer. I will also give an update on the Dome Venting project and the Next generation CFHT.

촉각과 온각 자극에 따른 악력, 상지 기민성, 그리고 손 기능의 차이 (The Difference of Grip Strength, Upper Limb Dexterity, and Hand Function according to Light Touch and Thermal Sensory Stimulus)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 촉각과 온각 자극에 따른 악력, 상지 기민성, 그리고 손 기능 변화의 차이 를 비교 분석하여 움직임에 가장 영향력 있는 자극의 종류를 규명하는 것이었다. 건강한 성인 남성 40명을 대상으로 하였고 신체적 특성을 파악한 뒤 악력과 상지 기민성 및 손 기능을 측정하였다. 이 후 부드러운 솔을 이용하여 촉각 입력을 발현한 뒤 재측정 하였으며 다음날 핫팩을 이용하여 온각 자극 발현 뒤 재측정하였다. 연구 결과 악력과 상지 기민성 검사의 모든 변인에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났고(p<.001), Lifting small objects를 제외한 모든 손 기능 변인에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다(p<.01). 결론적으로 자극의 입력은 악력, 기민성, 그리고 손 기능을 증가시킨다. 또한 자극의 종류에 따른 영향에서 온각 자극 입력은 촉각 자극 입력보다 악력, 기민성, 그리고 손 기능을 더욱 증가시킨다. 따라서 재활치료 및 산업 현장에서 상지와 손의 기능 촉진을 위해서는 적절한 자극의 적용이 도움이 될 것이며 앞으로 자극의 빈도와 강도에 대한 연구가 더욱 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

비접촉 센서를 이용한 레이저 자동 포커싱 (Laser Auto Focus Using Non-Touch Sensor)

  • In this paper, there was finding laser beam focal length using the camera at the work with laser preprocess. A process have some similarity that the laser direct writing was condition of unused other light source in order to a partical object of working substrate, so we worked finding focal length using yellow light. As we found focal lengths from three points of substrate edges, The focal length of all substrates was able to be computed by calculating a plane equation using these three point. Also we make a device and software that can automatically perform all of the processes.
