Magnetic levitation transfer systems are useful for transfer tools in clean rooms and positioning control systems with high precision because of frictionless characteristics. In this paper, the new method is proposed which is a sensorless position. At first, the magnetic levitation is performed by state feedback control with a disturbance observer for each of six axes of the movement of a levitated vehicle. The position of the vehicle is then estimated as the disturbance term of a disturbance observer for a pitch angle which is one of the control axes for the magnetic levitation. In addition, the positioning force is generated by the pitch angle control which gives a tilt to the levitated vehicle so that it generates the horizontal component of force.
This study was conducted to identify the attitude of ethical dilemmas (human life area. clients area. nursing practice area. and nurses-co-worker area) in hospital nurses. 169 nurses working in clinical setting were selected Inchon area. Data were gathered from 5. march to 30. 1998 by structured questionnaires. Descriptive statistics were employed to analyze the data. 3D-QSARs for the inhibition activities against protox by herbicidal 2-N-phenylisoindolin-1-one derivatives were studied quantitatively using CoMFA and CoMSIA methods. The result of the statistical quality of optimized CoMSIA model 2 ($FF:\;{r^2}_{cv.};\;0.973\;&\;{r^2}_{ncv.};\;0.612$) was higher than that of CoMFA model 1 ($AF:\;{r^2}_{cv.};\;0.414\;&\;{r^2}_{ncv.};\;0.909$). Also, the relative contribution of the optimized CoMSIA model 2 showed the steric (24.6%), electrostatic (31.0%), hydrophobic (ClogP, 23.4%) and H-bond acceptor field (21.0%), respectively. From the results of the contour maps, the protox inhibition activities are expected to increase when steric favor and H-bond acceptor favor groups are substituted on $R_2$ position and positive favor group are substituted on $C_2,\;C_3,\;and\;C_5$ atom in phenyl ring of $R_2$ position. And the inhibition activities are expected to increase when hydrophobic favor group is substituted on $C_1,\;C_3$ atom in phenyl ring of $R_2$ position and $C_1$ atom of $R_2$ position and hydrophilic favor groups are substituted on $C_4$ atom in phenyl ring of $R_1$ position and the terminal group of $R_1$ position.
This study was conducted to investigate the effect of planting position on the growth characteristics, yield and ginsenoside content in Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer at different growth stages. Referring to shoot growth characteristics, stem length, stem diameter and leave area were higher at front than rear, increasing as the proceeding of growth stages. But a lower chlorophyll contents was caused at front compared to rear and decreased as the proceeding of growth stages contrarily. According to root characteristics, root length and main body length were higher at front, with a positive correlation to growth stages, which was also shown on fresh root weight and dry root weight with the maximum in August. Meanwhile, the effect of planting position on ginsenoside content could also be definite by the highest content at front showing high light intensity, increasing as the proceeding of growth stages as well.
The purse of this study is to identify whether ethical values of Korean nurses are deontological or utilitarian. Nurse's ethical value questionnaire was developed from review of the literature and interview of nurses in the clinical settings. Ethical problem are categorized into four areas 1) human life 2) nurse-patient relationship 3) nurse-nursing task relationship 4) nurse-collegue relationship The data were obtained from 250 nurses in the clinical settings from Jun. to July in 1998 using the ethical value questionnaire developed by Lee (1990). The analysis of data was done by Pearson's correlation coefficient, t-test and anova. The results of this study were as follows : 1. The ethical values of human life slightly took up the position of utilitarian. 2. The ethical value of nurse-patient relationship slightly took up the deontological position. 3. The ethical value of nurse-nursing task relationship slightly took up the deontological position. 4. The ethical value of nurse-collegue relationship greatly took up the deontological position. 5. The ethical values of nurses related to demographic characteristics of age, marital status, position. Therefore it is suggested that new strategies and continuing education programs be established to help clinical nurses formlulate higher ethical values.
Full-board position evaluation in Go is a measurement of judging the advantages and disadvantages between black and white players during a game playing, and through this, the proper tactics and strategies would be undertaken in the near future. In this paper, we tried to evaluate the full-board positions of the 50 AlphaGo vs AlphaGo games using influence function that halved according to the distance. According to the experimental results, there is a limit to making accurate evaluation when the full-board position is assessed only by influence function. In order to overcome this, it is necessary to solve life-and-death problems to deal with dead stones, and it showed that if this is reinforced, we can precisely evaluate the full-board position in Go.

While the number of women labor force in Malaysia is increasing, only a few of them make it to the top. For many reasons, some women turn down top position offer and some of them refuse to stay working. Commitment to the family, work-life conflict and lack of support from the family and the colleagues are among issues that caused women to have less interest to pursue career advancement. This article examines the role of work-life balance and its relationship to women career advancement, and why both are important in Malaysia. The arguments are arranged based on a review of the previous literature to conceptualize the relationship between work-life balance and career advancement. It is found that both work-life balance and women career advancement are important to retain women in the working world as well as to motivate them to pursue promotion to a higher position. Even though some researchers agreed that the relationship between work-life balance and career advancement is mostly negative, others found positive relationship between both constructs. At the end of the paper, some suggestions on how to improve work-life balance and career advancement are presented as well as suggestion for future research.

This study is aimed to evaluate the effects of the educational program that is designed to help the patients of T.K.R.A. to improve their self-nursing ability. The research will show how well this program can contribute to raising of their adaptability of everyday life by decreasing the difficulties that the patients had before in their daily life. The sample persons for this research were 40 adult patients who had T.K.R.A. in our hospital, and the data were collected through the questionnaires which were given to them. For the surveying tool, Jette's scale was applied to measure the degree of uncomforting that the patients experienced in their daily life. The materials of report had been gathered from May 1st to December 10th. The collected data were analyzed with real numbers, percentage, average, the standard deviation, TorF test and Pearsons correlation. The results of this study can be summarized like follows: The survey of self-caring exercise part were processed with two groups containing experiment group and contrast group. The exercise which took the highest points in experiment group was repetition of stretching and bending knees with laid down position while taking a walk, repetition of stretching and bending knees with seated on chair position and repetition of stretching and bending knees with laid down position got high points in contrast group. There were distinctive differences in statistics between repetition of stretching and bending knees in laid down position and taking a walk. There was no significant statistical gap between the degrees of inconveniences of daily life that each two groups experienced when we compared the average of the two groups, but 12 out of 20 questions got considerable differences. According to common characters of self-caring, there was a distinctive gap in the group who left the hospital in 14days and the ones who spend more than 30 minutes with exercise. The patient group who left the hospital in fourteen days after T.K.R.A. spent more time doing self-caring exercise. In the relationship between common characters and the degree of difficulties of daily life, Exercising is effective and Spending more that 30 minutes for exercise showed visible differences. The patients who answered that exercise are effective and put more time for it experienced less pain in their everyday life. The data proved by Pearson's correlation showed the relationship between self- caring and the degree of pain of daily life. According to the result, the increasing of self-caring activities helped to down the degree of inconveniences of daily life. This data show that T.K.R.A. reduced self-caring exercise ability and daily life activities. Therefore, the medical staffs who would take care the T.K.R.A. patients should offer stable nursing through well scheduled and education materials for patients. It is also important to encourage the patients to participate to the exercise by showing them how exercise after T.K.R.A. The education program is expecting to guarantee not only the right of patients to get enough information but also effective result to decrease uncomfortable of daily life.

PURPOSE: This study examined the changes in the cross-sectional area (CSA) of the abductor hallucis muscle during various ankle positions while performing toespread-out (TSO) exercise. METHODS: Thirty subjects with an average age of 22.1 years were recruited for this study. All subjects were firstly measured for the angle of their first metatarsophalangeal joint using a goniometer. Those with angles greater than 15° were allocated to the HV group. The remaining subjects were placed in the normal group. The CSA of the abductor hallucis was measured by ultrasound in the resting position with no movement and three ankle positions: neutral (0°), plantarflexion (30°), and dorsiflexion (30°). All data were analyzed using a two-way mixed analysis of variance between the groups (normal and HV group) and within the groups (resting, neutral, plantarflexion, and dorsiflexion) to determine the group x position interaction effects. RESULTS: During TSO exercise in the normal group, the CSA of the abductor hallucis was significantly greater in both the plantarflexion and neutral positions compared to the resting position (padj < .01), and plantarflexion was significantly greater than the dorsiflexion position (padj < .01). During the TSO exercise in the HV group, the CSA of the abductor hallucis for plantarflexion was significantly greater than it was for the resting, neutral, and dorsiflexion positions (padj < .01). CONCLUSION: Based on the above results, the TSO exercise in plantarflexion is an effective rehabilitation exercise for subjects with HV.
