Recent tendency in modern society for urban design and public space forming it recommended diversity of studies and design development, for the interest in urban design is increasing. In particular, street furniture being one of the important components to construct public space has been researched and developed in aspects of formative and emotional style, broken from the old way of the function-oriented purpose. It could be said that this results from the desire of human pursuing a well-off life, the new value standard regarding design and the life styles in mode. The new development of street furniture could be a creating the value-added source potentially being able to raise community, identity of nation and international competitiveness, beyond the primary purpose, namely the improvement of surrounding environment, and therefore the most of countries in the world are concentrating their life and death on development of design in reality. For this investigation the concept of city design, the basic content analysis of the street furniture and also the contents in the related sectors were reported. In order to develop the bench design, one of the representative items of the street furniture furthermore it was proceeded that basic process for the design like data searching for the object place and the existing case studies. On the basis of this the series of the design development processes such as idea sketch, computer rendering and drawing work were described step by step. The aim of this study is therefore to contribute in compiling the development processes of bench design as a new shape into a data and in utilizing it as a design case study and research material in the related sectors.
Recently, YouTube's growth started drawing attention. YouTube is not only a content-consumption channel but also provides a space for consumers to express their intention. Consumers share their opinions on YouTube through comments. The study focuses on the text of global entrepreneurs' speeches and the comments in response to those speeches on YouTube. A content analysis was conducted for each speech and comment using the text mining software Leximancer. We analyzed the theme of each entrepreneurial speech and derived topics related to the propensity and characteristics of individual entrepreneurs. In the comments, we found the theme of money, work and need to be common regardless of the content of each speech. Talking into account the different lengths of text, we additionally performed a Prominence Index analysis. We derived time, future, better, best, change, life, business, and need as common keywords for speech contents and viewer comments. Users who watched an entrepreneur's speech on YouTube responded equally to the topics of life, time, future, customer needs, and positive change.
For effective conceptual teaching (or teaming) of physics, it needs to know more information about students' ideas related to specific topics. The purpose of this study was to investigate 6th grade students' various ideas about the actions of force, especially' the situation where force is being acted', and' the situation where force is not being acted', through the analysis of their 'Typically-Perceived-Situation (TPS)'. The TPSs of 152 6th grade students were collected with a drawing-and-explanation type questionnaire, and their TPSs about the action of force were categorized by the background, the subject, the object, the action, and the result of action, etc. It was found that most of students' ideas about 'force is being acted' were related to the situation where the impact by or on human body caused to the change of position in familiar everyday life scene. Thus their ideas were strong related to human body, including sensual factors such as 'pain'. And it also was found that most of students' ideas about 'force is not being acted' were in a strong relation to familiar everyday life situations there is no change of position because force was not given by a human body, or energy was not supplied. Most students thought that force is similar to energy which should be supplied from outside or generated by itself. These results suggest that the teaching strategies focused on familiar everyday life background including sensual factors and human body need to be explored in conceptual loaming of physics.
This paper attempts to present critical issues of the information society and an alternative research addressing the challenges of ensuring that ICT is applied in ways that are enabling and responsive to social contexts in which people live their lives. Drawing the question of why insights arising from the mainstream vision are rarely useful in policies, the study highlights some developmental paradigms linked to ICT. It explores how ICT is seen as a means to development, and elaborates on the limitations of how current issues are related to the quality of life. The results indicate that ICT reduces quality of life while economic growth entails the opposite. The research framework here involves some meaningful components of cultural residues: independence, risk-taking, government responsibility by mapping how the level of ICT is distributed in the topology of values around the world. Moving to the next phase, ICT policy design and implementation need to be set up practically in a broad perspective that can be pursued by those concerned with social and technological innovation.
Even though the animation industry has been growth since 2011, there is still imitation by public stereotype which insists that animation is only able to cover the young age group and is not the proper genre of art to convey a social or a philosophical agenda. However, describes the philosophical agenda of 'social class' and 'life and death' in the limited space by expressing characteristics and background of fish through its own way. As the life which existed only offline has changed into a life part of which is led online, it is an important problem to identify whether an online user is legitimate one or not. Biometric authentication technology was developed to identify the user more correctly either online or in offline daily life. Biometric authentication is a technology where a person is identified by his or her unique characteristics, and is highlighted as a next-generation authentication technology replacing password. There are various kinds of traits unique to each individual, and biometric authentication technologies drawing on such traits use various devices and algorithms. Firstly, this paper classified such various biometric authentication technologies, and analyzed the effects of them when they are applied on smartphone, smartwatch and M2M of the different devices platforms. Secondly, it suggested the effectiveness-based AIB(Authentication for Integrated Biometrics) authentication technique, a comprehensive authentication technique, which can be used in different devices platforms. We have successfully included the establishment scheme of the effectiveness authentication using biometrics.

Today, further education of adults in the UK is one of the developing areas of continuing education. The Open University with distance learning, in the process of which innovative forms and methods based on computer and telecommunication technologies are used, is particularly successful in the organization of additional education of the adult population. The advantages of distance learning, multimedia - the latest information technologies, which provide the combination of graphic images, video, sound with the help of modern computer tools, are noted. The basic principles and forms underlying the technologies and forms of work with the elderly are defined. The international experience of implementing "Universities of the Third Age" is summarized. The most widespread approach in adult education in Great Britain is informational. The use of computer technologies motivates a new paradigm in educational methods and strategies, which requires new approaches, forms of learning, and innovative ways of delivering educational materials to adult learners. Information technologies have gained great popularity in such activities as distance learning, online learning, assistance in the education management system, development of programs and virtual textbooks in various subjects, online search for information for the educational process, computer testing of students' knowledge, creation of electronic libraries, formation of a single scientific electronic environment, publication of virtual magazines and newspapers on pedagogical topics, teleconferences, expansion of international cooperation in the field of Internet education. The information technology of synchronous distance learning "online" has gained considerable popularity in the educational process today. A promising direction is the use of multimedia technologies in educational activities to create a design of a virtual computer environment by decoding audiovisual information.
In addition to the emphasis on filial piety ethics in everyday life, filial piety obtained a further significance in Confucianism which had the strong sense of ancestor worship. This paper focuses on filial piety as a mechanism of continuity within Confucianism and points out that it owed its development to its connection to agricultural culture. The sedentary life with less mobility forged a relative intimacy among people and filial piety was the actual expression of that kind of intimate affection. Yet, filial piety in Confucianism created a unique culture in terms that it not only stipulated material and emotional support for parents but also expected one's piety to the further ancestors through a memorial service and made its connection to the infinite posterity through sons. From the perspective of Confucianism that established filial piety at the turning point from life to death, the self existing in present was not an isolated self anymore. Yet, one can see another characteristic of Confucianism from that filial piety, based on blood bonds, could move beyond paternalism to broaden itself. It could be expanded to the care for strangers. The aged experience and wisdom through agricultural life begot the insight that the nature made its infinite connections with everything through circulation. As a stone thrown in a pond would enlarge its boundary by drawing larger and larger concentric circles, this thought enabled people to enlarge their affection to their parents to universal humanity. In this enlarged network, though it was natural to make distinctions between the closer and the farther, Confucianism sought to overcome it by establishing oneself upright. Confucianism emphasized the moral cultivation with its filial piety concept that contained the diachronic thought penetrating life and death and the broadened perspective relating everything around. In Confucianism, filial piety provided an important medium in forming a moral subject that penetrated life and death and related self and others. Inherent in it is the Confucius thought of continuity that searched for a paragon of a moral human being regardless of time and space.
The purpose of this study was to analyze paper and pencil test items of life science I in high school to diagnose problems of the test items developed by teachers, and to provide some implication for better assessment. 690 selection-type items and 162 supply-type items in life science I were collected from 10 general high schools. In the analysis of test items, the ratio of the selection-type item and the supply-type item was 81:19 in the number of items based on item type, while the ratio was 74.4:25.6 in the distribution of marks, indicating that the distribution of marks compared to the number of items was higher in the supply-type items. In the analysis by the Bloom's revised taxonomy of educational objectives, the items of 'conceptual knowledge' in the knowledge and those of 'understanding' in the cognition process were shown most in both the selection-type item and the supply-type item. In the analysis by the science assessment frameworks of NAEA, the items of 'knowledge' were shown 9 times more than those of 'inquiry'. When compared to the level of difficulty presented in the two-way specification table and the percentage of correct answers in the selection-type item, the concurrence was 41.5%. When compared to the ratio of number of items based on the item type of the supply-type items, the short-answer items were 34.0%, the descriptive items were 61.1%, and the drawing items were 4.9%. The drawing items were mainly developed in the unit of 'Cells and Continuity of Life'. When the descriptive items were classified by the acceptance of response, all the items were 'response restricted' type, and the items of 'restricted in content range' type among them were highest. When the items were classified by presentation of data, the items of 'presentation of data' type were highest(65.4%), and when classified by type of question, the items of 'knowledge description' type were highest(80.4%). In conclusion, it is needed to develop items belonging to 'inquiry' area more in the school, and to increase the ratio of the descriptive items, presenting various types of items.

This article aims to (a) investigate children's images of a scientist's life style by comparing children's drawings about a scientist's schedule with those about a company employee's schedule in a weekday and on Sunday; and (b) examine the usefulness of 'Drawing A Scientist's Schedule (DASS)' test as a new instrument of learners' conceptions of a scientist and his/her work. To do those, thirty sixth- grade children participated in this study. The children, 15 boys and 15 girls, were selected from a classroom of an elementary school located in Gongju city. The children's drawings were analyzed in conjunction with individual interviews. The interviews facilitated the clarification of any ambiguous attributes of the drawings by questioning after their completion. Several significant conclusions can be drawn from this work: First, the children conceived that a scientist has more mandatory time, and less necessary and leisure time than does a company employee. Interestingly, many children thought that a scientist has similar life style on Sunday to that in a weekday, unlike a company employee. Second, in case of necessary time use in a weekday and on Sunday, the difference between a scientist and a company employee results from their sleeping time. Also, the children showed more various conceptions of a scientist's sleeping time than those of a company employee's sleeping time. Third, in case of mandatory time use, the children conceived that a scientist spends more time for his/her occupational work and less time for his/her housework activities than does a company employee. Fourth, the children's drawings showed that there is difference between a scientist's and a company employee's leisure time use and activities. Finally, the DASS test indicated its possibility and usefulness as an instrument for investigating learners' images on a scientist and his/her work. The instrument exhibited several distinctive children's conceptions that is difficult in identifying by using the DAST, a popular instrument.
