To investigate the impact of the school libraries use experiences on the academic library anxiety among the freshmen of academy, A university's freshmen who had used the academic library were sampled systematically and surveyed. Data collected from 445 freshmen were analyzed using the frequency analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis through the independents; sex, locations of schools, manager of schools, use education, library use, library aided instruction and compared with the previous studies. Library anxiety was also differed according to the locations of schools, managers of schools, library use, use education, library aided instruction. Based on the results, some recommendations were suggested to reduce the library anxiety of freshmen in academic libraries.

The purpose of this study was to review today's development trends of library bibliographic instruction through historical assessment of U.S. university library bibliographic instruction development pattern. And the results of this study may be used in implementing the university library bibliographic instruction program in Korea. The major conclusions of this study are summarized as follows: . The bibliographic instruction had been affected by changing trend of higher education. . Early leaders had been understanding of higher education and were active in the library organization. . Related books and articles were much published continuously. . Library professional organizations supported and assisted these effort. . Received financial aid from the government and non-profit organization. . Effective educational techniques were developed. . Implemented computer-aided education together with audio-visual technique.

The purpose of this study is to find out the factors which have interrupted Library Assisted Instruction in various schools' libraries and to analyze the factors by the tools and to propose the solutions to the obstacles for the desired Library Assisted Instruction. For doing this, some experimental processes had been made: firstly, to make the analysis model based on HPT for the improvement of the real LAI, secondly, to apply the model to LAI, to draw out the problems and to analyze them, and to propose the solutions. As the results of this study, the 5 solutions are presented; 1) LAIs should have the obvious and concrete teaching&learning objectives. 2) The supporting systems for LAI like the web community ought to be prepared. 3) External motivation systems, that is, teachers and teacher-librarians' performance assessment with LAI participation rate per year, should be developed. 4) The various, practical LAI programs should be developed. 5) The obscure refusal of teachers & teacher-librarians to LAI should be disappeared and the directors of schools should be confident of the LAI's educational, positive effects.

The purpose of this study is to analyse the cases related with PBL and to suggest the activation plan of LAI based on the derived results. The analysis objects were the PBL cases which have been performed from 2000 to 2018 in Korean schools. The PBL cases were analysed in the aspects of school levels, target grades, subject clusters, teaching patterns, information sources, cooperative teaching status, library cooperative teaching status, and educational effects. The results were like these; 1)The PBL was applied at the elementary schools the most, the next middle schools, and high schools. 2)The teaching pattern was the exclusive teaching the most, and the next pattern was team teaching with other teacher, and the lowest pattern was with librarian teacher. 3)The subject cluster was natural science cluster the most and the next was the human & social science cluster and the art, music and physical education cluster. 4)The PBL performed with school library was low. 5)The main effects of PBL were the improvements of academic achievement, learning satisfaction degree, creative ability, problem-solving ability, and self-directed learning capability. As the results, it's proposed that it's important for librarian teachers to have the aggressive attitude for the activation of LAI as well as the cooperation with PBL subject teachers from the planning step to the evaluation.
