최근 범국가적으로 추진하고 있는 초고속정보통신망 구축 사업과 연계하여, 전통적인 서비스를 제공해오던 기존의 도서관에서는 멀티미디어 서비스를 실현하기 위해 끊임없는 노력을 하고 있다. 이러한 노력은 멀티미디어의 출현에 따라 이용자 요구에 부응하는 적합한 서비스를 제공하기 위한 방법으로서, 도서관이 소장하고 있는 정보들을 디지털화하고 네트워크와 진보된 통신기반구조를 이용하여 어떠한 형태의 정보라도 장소에 구애받지 않고 이용자에게 제공할 수 있는 디지털 도서관의 등장으로 이어지고 있다. 디지털 도서관의 구축에 따른 기대 효과로서는 시.공간을 초월하여 자료에 대한 서지정보, 원문 및 화상정보 등을 대다수의 이용자에게 제공할 수 있으며, 신속한 정보의 획득과 자료활용의 극대화를 그 예로 들 수 있다. 본 고에서는 미국과 일본을 중심으로 디지털 도서관의 구축 사례들을 살펴보고, 이를 바탕으로 디지털 도서관에서 이용자에게 제공해야 할 서비스에 대해서 살펴보고자 한다.

Since world container throughput continues to grow, the main issues facing decision-makers at port container terminals are how to expand the existing container terminals and construct new container terminals. Simulations can be used in the decision making process tools due to its ease and ability to reflect the real world system. The object-oriented approach provides for both reusability and modularity that best fits these requirements. In this paper, the object-oriented approach to modeling and simulating general container terminals is presented. Simulation tools based on Visual C++ provide a user-friendly input and output environment through the use of an object class-library. This paper also presents the case study of a simulation of a real container terminal in Pusan, Korea.

this study is to determine whether color, icon, sorting methods of brief description about materials, and postioning methods of final records affect the usability of the OPAC(Online Public Access Catalog) screen designs in terms of success rate, search time, and users' preferences. The findings suggest that OPAC systems can be optimized to enhance user's performances conflict with each other, designers should give more weight to performance because of the library's mission of meeting users' information needs.

ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) 이라는 국제 IT서비스 운영모델과 이를 실현시키기 위해 외산 솔루션을 적용한 대부분의 1세대 ITSM 도입 기업들은 국내 기업의 다양한 환경 변화, 조직의 규모 등으로 인한 프로세스 변경 및 수정에 유연하게 대응할 수 없어 ITSM 시스템 개선의 한계에 봉착하는 경우가 발생하고 있다. 또한 신규 ITSM 도입 기업들 역시 동일한 문제점들을 인식하고 ITSM 투자에 대해 고민하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 ITSM (Information Technology Service Management, IT 서비스 관리) 1세대 도입 기업들의 개선 요구사항을 기반으로 수행한 ITSM 프로세스 개선 및 ITSM 시스템 개발 과정에 대한 사례 연구를 진행함으로써 IT서비스 기업들이 자체적으로 ITSM 프로세스 및 시스템 개발 시 가이드라인으로 활용할 수 있는 이론적 기반을 제시한다.

In university of Korea, the computerization of facility management is lower level than other management areas such as educational matters, administration, library, computing center, teaching assistance, and teaching methodology. So we need urgently the blueprint for an information-oriented and integrated facility management system. In this research, It is presented and implemented an FMS(Facility Management System) for efficient management of the ground and underground facilities on a campus. This studies is computerized the drawings, protocols, and ledgers. It is used a GIS(Geographic Information System) to get the geographical information of facilities. The data more efficiently could be search and update on this system. The decision making process understanding the present facility condition, and analyzing the condition of location could be performed easily by the GUI(Graphic User Interface) of the system.

The complexity of newly developed protection algorithm and higher performance requested by the user makes the software embedded in the protective relay much harder to develop and maintain. The versatility of 32bit microprocessor and the availability of cheaper memory semiconductors introduced the fertile developing background for the protective relay developers. The use of component object model(COM) in the software developing process enables the developer to write much complex code in the easy and safe way and to maintain the code easily, too. And the aid of the COM library, the distributed computing environment will be expected to appear by the use of the COM programming model in the protective relay firmware program.

The development of a parallelized aerodynamic simulation process involving moving bodies is presented. The implementation of this process is demonstrated using a fully systemized Chimera methodology for steady and unsteady problems. This methodology consist of a Chimera hole-cutting, a new cut-paste algorithm for optimal mesh. interface generation and a two-step search method for donor cell identification. It is fully automated and requires minimal user input. All procedures of the Chimera technique are parallelized on the Cray T3E using the MPI library. Two and three-dimensional examples are chosen to demonstate the effectiveness and parallel performance of this procedure.

This study examines the access points for electronic reference service system displayed on the home pages of academic libraries. Library home pages of national/public and private universities were examined, and these were classified into three groups according to the methods of displaying access points on the homepages. The advantages and disadvantages of each group were discussed and some suggestions were made for the user-friendliness and accessibility for the electronic reference service.

Creative thinking appears even before it is expressed in language, and its existence is revealed through emotion, intuition, image and body feeling before logic or linguistics rules work. In this study, Lego is intended to present experimental child interactive content that is applied with a computer vision based on image processing techniques. In the case of infants, the main purpose of this content is the development of hand muscles and the ability to implement imagination. The purpose of the analysis algorithm of the OpenCV library and the image processing using the 'VVVV' that is implemented as a 'Node' in the midst of perceptual changes in image processing technology that are representative of object recognition, and the objective is to use a webcam to film, recognize, derive results that match the analysis and produce interactive content that is completed by the user participating. Research shows what Lego children have made, and children can create things themselves and develop creativity. Furthermore, we expect to be able to infer a diverse and individualistic person's thinking based on more data.

본 연구의 목적은 대학도서관 주제전문서비스를 이용하는 이용자의 만족도와 이용자특성에 따른 영향을 알아봄으로써, 대학도서관 이용자 서비스 제공 개선 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 연구대상은 경기도에 소재한 K대학도서관 서비스를 이용하는 학부생 40명, 대학원생 40명, 교직원 20명, 총 100명을 대상자로 하였다. 연구방법은 대학도서관 주제전문서비스를 이용하는 이용자들의 인식에 관한 문항 설문지로 하였다. 이용자 특성에 따라 도출한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 대학도서관 주제전문서비스를 이용하는 학부생의 만족도는 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 2. 대학도서관 주제전문서비스를 이용하는 대학원생, 교직원의 만족도는 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이용자가 선호하는 서비스 방법은 도서관 홈페이지를 통해 제공받는 방식을 선호하였다. 따라서 본 연구를 종합해보면 향후에는 본 연구를 바탕으로 주제전문서비스를 처음 시행하는 대학도서관이 주제전문서비스를 시행할 때 목표달성에 기여하고, 서비스를 효과적으로 수행하기 위해 좋은 귀감이 될 것이라 판단된다.
