Developing a Leadership Scale for University Library Middle Managers (대학도서관 중간관리자의 리더십 척도 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The primary focus of this study was on the development of a leadership scale to measure the leadership capacities of university library middle managers. The study included the following research activities. Firstly, broad and narrow scopes were determined and their corresponding questions were selected to develop a leadership scale of university middle managers by analyzing the previous related research findings. Secondly, the scopes and the questions were revised through the Delphi survey method, Thirdly, a survey was conducted to develop a simplified model of the leadership scale. The research outcomes led to three types of leadership scale of the university library middle manager. This study identified the leadership factors of middle managers in the university libraries. The resulting developed leadership scale should serve as the basic information for the existing middle managers' leadership capacity development.

A Study on Current Status of Continuing Education for Enhancing School Librarians' Expertise: Focusing on the Goyang-si in Gyeonggi-do (학교도서관 전문인력의 계속교육 실태와 개선방안에 관한 연구 - 경기도 고양지역을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the current status and condition of continuing education to improve professionalism of school library and to suggest ways to improve continuing education. The survey was conducted for 69 librarians and school librarians teachers in elementary, middle and high school libraries in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do, and frequency analysis and cross analysis were conducted. The research results are as follows. First, the study found that librarians have a high interest in and participation in continuing education. Second, the type of continuing education with the highest percentage of participation was short-term training and training courses, and the link between educational content and practice was low. Third, managers' awareness needs to be improved, and regional constraints and the lack of suitable continuing education programs are the obstacles to continuing education. Fourth, preference for continuing education during working hours and vacation was emphasized. Through this, it was suggested that continuous and long-term continuing education, policy support for encouraging continuing education, development of continuing education courses for professionalism, manager's awareness call.

Development of Unmanned Payment System based on QR Code optimized for Non-face-to-face (비대면에 최적화된 QR 코드기반 무인 결제 시스템 개발)

  • By reducing time spent outside, a shopping system was developed for middle-aged and elderly people who mainly use neighborhood marts and neighborhood mart managers. The main functions of this app are direct shopping and online shopping, and it was developed using QR code using Zxing library on Android and Kakao Map using Kakao API. In addition, it provides information such as payment statistics and bulletin board posts that members need through recycler view and graphs in an easy-to-read manner. Through this system, members can efficiently manage by reducing fatigue when using the mart through direct purchase using QR code and delivery through map, and reducing manpower wastage as a mart manager. Also, as a mart manager, more consumers will be able to sell more items.
