These days, we face of the flood of books published, and data day by day. But there are some trouble to serve the knowlodge and date to the users efficently with a single library. Thats why we think about the way of the cooporation and the connection in modern library for the method of widening the service. As the result of the issue, the establishment for the relation of each library is needed to be done, and the composition of the public library network in same area and limit are also needed. Establishing the library network, the civil life will be much influenced by the service of a library. With the existing ways, library cant arrange data efficently by them selves, and the users are limited. But the library network collect the data with alloting the work to each portion, so it can be possible to gather the specipic data, and the cost caused by needless and overlapped data can be decreased remarkably. Furthermore, the location of the library can be closer than the existing one due to the less cost to maintain the library. As I explained, the convenience of using the library can make an effect on more people to use a library than before.

The continuous accumulation of printed materials prompts rethinking of library space problem and systematic preservation of library collection. To respond to this challenge, this study provides actionable models for the National Repository library and the Cooperative Repository Network. The development of the models is based on the analysis of overseas best practices as well as data derived from current state of public library cooperative network administered by the National Library of Korea. This study also offers a range of strategies for the operation of repository library system.

This study aims to reveal the problems of the education of library management area in library and information science and to seek possible methods for solving the problems. It was revealed that the number of subjects of library management area was often changed by the influence of information science. It was also disclosed that the education of library management does not satisfy what the librarians' demand. The study provides the following suggestions for the better education of library management: first, the establishment of the standardization of library and information science curriculum which includes the provision of the number, title and contents of the subjects of library management and secondly, close cooperation with librarians when opening new subjects of library management area.

This study is to recognize the function of the regional central library's role and to address its support to the community public libraries ; such is one of the focuses of the revised library law. Through the mixed layer model, the regional central library can contribute to a better cooperation between the national central library and community public library in each region. Regional libraries. under the supervision of regional library service committee, can execute many local enterprises efficiently such as library informatization projects. the associative storage, the regional librarian education and the establishment of information commons through integrating the regional information.

The purpose of this article is to discuss about the progress and problems in Korean public library policies. The emphasis is on identifying both distinctive features and indigenous limitations in Korean Library Act and National Plans for Library Development. This article also investigates the current status and weakness of major policy driving forces such as national library policy committee(President's Committee on Library and Information Policy), administrative support organization, and professional associations. Finally suggested are both strategies and methods for promoting the quality of Korean public library policies, with focusing on enhancing public librarians' capacity of policy participation.

This study aims to raise academic library funds in Korea through how to raise funds and what conditions are. In order to do this, case studies on academic library funds of university in America as well as academic library funds of university in Korea have been analyzed. As for the specific plan for raising academic library funds, I have indicated to establish office for library development and include library as one of allotment for infrastructure which is similar to the Development Impact Fee in the U.S.A., and the use of library supporting organizations like "Library Friends."

The public library is the local centre and gateway of knowledge and information. Therefore, the library should be funded and operated by local government and the governing body will be responsible for matters of policy of the library. However, recently public libraries in Korea have faced enormous policy challenges such as the damage of its identity, outsourcing or contracting-out of management, and the general chaos of its administrative system. This paper aims to analyze the current level of infrastructure and policies of public libraries and to review the wrong path and the right path of library policies focused on establishing a library foundation and outsourcing library management in Seoul and Incheon.

The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the impact of library service quality on the continuous use of libraries by international students and to verify that library anxiety plays a mediator role between the two variables - 'library service quality' and 'continuous use intention'. To conduct this study, library service quality, continuous use intention, and library anxiety of 213 Chinese international students was measured and the hypothesis through structural equation modeling was verified. The result of the study suggests that library service quality has an impact on continuous use intention and that library anxiety mediates the two variables. Based on the research result, the development of library service for international students was discussed.

Library authorities are responsible for allocating its resources to best achieve library goals. This means the question of benefits and costs for library activities, as well as a n.0, pplication of economic theory to it. To consider these, this study dealt with theoretical analysis: 1) the nature of economic models, 2) economic theory to library activities, 3) and its a n.0, pplicability. However, economic model method allows us to use an analytic technique that is founded on library production and consumption. Thus, its major contribution is creation of a framework or system for maximizing the efficient library activities.
