전해절용 $Li_2O-V_2O_5-TeO_2$ 계 글라스 세라믹스의 전기적 특성 (Electrical Properties of $LI_2O-V_2O5-TeO_2$ Glasses for Solid State Electrolyte)

  • Ternary tellurite glassy systems ($Li_2O-V_2O_5-TeO_2$) have been synthesised using Vanadium oxide as a network former and Lithium oxide as network modifier. The addition of a metal oxide makes them electric or mixed electric-ionic conductors, which are of potential interest as cathode materials for solid-state batteries. This glass-ceramics crystallized from the $Li_2O-V_2O_5-TeO_2$ system are particularly interesting, because they exhibit high conductivity (up to $5.63{\times}10^{-5}$ S/cm) at room temperature the glass samples were prepared by quenching the melt on the copper plate and the glass-ceramics were heat-treated at crystallizing temperature determined from differential thermal analysis (DTA). The electric DC conductivity result have been analyzed in terms of a small polaron-hopping model.

  • The impedance of the positive active material $LiMnO_2$ is measured by the changeable trend following the time. The charge capacities of single cell and each cells of four made with thin film prepared in the dry box are measured after measuring the impedance with the interval of 0, 24, 48 and 72 hours. In result, the impedance through the delaying time is not enhanced continuously as result of the time. The variation of capacity enhanced is not watched as the result of the delaying time that all together of the positive thin film and the reference is soaked in the solution of electrolyte of 1M PC $LiClO_4$. But it can be known to increase the discharge capacities as that the impeditive value is decrease.

  • The purpose of this study is to research and develop solid polymer electrolyte(SPE) for Li polymer battery. This paper describes temperature dependence of conductivity, impedance spectroscopy, electrochemical properties of PAN/PVDF electrolytes as a function of a mixed ratio. PAN/PVDF based polymer electrolyte films were prepared by thermal gellification method of preweighed PAN/PVDF, plasticizer and Li salt. By adding PVDF and as a function of plasticizer mixed ratio to PAN-LiClO4 electrolyte, its conductivity was higher than that of PAN-$LiClO4_4$ electrolyte. The conductivity of PAN/PVDF electrolytes was $10^{-3}S/cm$. $10PAN10PVDFLiClO_4PC_5EC_5$ electrolyte shows the better conductivity of the others. Steady state current method and ac impedance used for the determination of transference numbers in PAN/PVDF electrolyte film. The transference number of $10PAN10PVDFLiClO_4PC_5EC_5$ electrolyte is 0.45.

  • Dye-sensitized solar cell(DSSC) have been considered one of the promising alternatives to conventional solar cells, because of their low cost, easy fabrication and relatively high energy conversion efficiency. However, although the cell offers reasonable efficiency at least 11%, the use of a liquid electrolyte placed technological challenges for achieving the desired durability and operational stability of the cell. In order to prevent or reduce electrolyte leakage considerable efforts have been made, such as p-type semiconductor or organic hole-transport material that better mechanical properties and simple fabrication processes. In this work, we synthesized solid-state electrolyte containing LiI and KI metal salt with starting materials of poly ethylene oxide to substitute liquid electrolyte enhance the ionic conductivity and solar conversion efficiency. Li+ leads to faster diffusion and higher efficiency and K+ leading to higher ionic conductivity. The efficiency of poly ethylene oxide/LiI system electrolyte is 1.47% and poly ethylene oxide/potassium electrolyte is 1.21%. An efficiency of 3.24% is achieved using solid-state electrolyte containing LiI and KI concentrations. The increased solar conversion efficiency is attributed to decreased crystallinity in the polymer that leads to enhanced charge transfer.

  • A lumped parameter model of Li-ion battery in hybrid electric vehicle(HEV) is constructed and system parameters are identified by using recursive least square estimation for different C-rates, SOCs and temperatures. The system characteristics of pole and zero in frequency domain are analyzed with the parameters obtained from different conditions. The parameterized model of Li-ion battery indicates highly dependant of temperatures. The system pole and internal resistance changes 6.6 and 18 times at $-20^{\circ}C$, comparing with those at $25^{\circ}C$, respectively. These results will be utilized on constructing model-based state observer or an on-line identification and an adaptation of the model parameters in battery management systems for hybrid electric vehicle applications.

Structural and Magnetic Studies on Electrochemically Lithiated $PrBa_2Cu_3O_y$

  • A lithiated compound $Li_{0.1}Pr^{3+}Ba_2Cu_3O_y$ has been successfully prepared by electrochemical method, which is achieved with a two electrode cell of the type: Metal(Li)/($Li^+\;,\;ClO_4^-$) + propylene carbonate/$PrBa_2Cu_3O_y$. All Pr ions in the lithiated compound are stabilized with a trivalent state as the other rare earths (Ⅲ) substituted in the 90K superconductor lattice ($Y_{1-x}Ln_x^-Ba_2Cu_3O_{7-{\delta}}$). Powder X-ray diffraction analysis shows that both compounds, $PrBa_2Cu_3O_y$ and $Li_{0.1}PrBa_2Cu_3O_y$ are isostructural with the 90 K superconductor, ($YBa_2Cu_3O_{7-{\delta}}$), nevertheless both of them are non-metallic and also non-superconducting down to 10 K. Magnetic susceptibility ${\chi}$ vs. temperature data indicate that Curie contribution from the magnetic ions (Pr and Cu) is weakened on the one hand, but on the other hand temperature-independent part of susceptibility ${\chi}_o$ increases depending upon the rate of lithium intercalation in $PrBa_2Cu_3O_y$ lattice.

  • [ $LiNi_{0.4}Mn_{0.3}Co_{0.3}O_2$ ] cathode material was synthesized by a mixed hydroxide method. Structural characterization was carried out using X-ray diffraction studies. Electrochemical studies were performed by assembling 2032 coin cells with lithium metal as an anode. DSC (Differential scanning calorimetry) data showed that exothermic reactions of $LiNi_{0.4}Mn_{0.3}Co_{0.3}O_2$ charged to 4.3 V versus Li started at high temperatures$(280\sim390^{\circ}C)$. The cell of $LiNi_{0.4}Mn_{0.3}Co_{0.3}O_2$ mixed cathode delivered a discharge capacity of 150 mAh/g at a 0.2 C rate. The capacity of the cell decreased with the current rate and a useful capacity of 134 mAh/g was obtained at a 2 C rate. The reversible capacity after 100th cycles was 126 mAh/g when a cell was cycled at a current rate of 0.5 C in $2.8\sim4.3V$.

Al-Li-Cu-Mg(Ag, Ce)합금의 미세조직 및 기계적성질에 미치는 stretching의 영향 (Effect of Stretching on the Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Al-Li-Cu-Mg Alloys)

  • Al-Li-Cu-Mg합금에서 0~9% 범위의 stretching이 석출상 및 기계적성질에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. Stretching을 하였을 경우 $\delta$'(A1$_3$Li)석출상의 크기는 변화가 없었으나 T$_1$(Al$_2$CuLi)석출상은 미세하고 균일하게 분포하였으며 입계석출물도 비교적 적게 형성되었다. 또한 변형부위에 분포하는 $\delta$'석출상에 의한 planar slip도 감소되었다. 항복강도는 15$0^{\circ}C$에서 120시간 시효처리 하였을때 stretching을 하지 않은 경우 328~342 Mpa에서 6% stretching을 하였을 경우 466~488MPa로 향상되었으며 연신율은 같은 조건에서 각각 9.7~10.4%와 5~5.7%를 나타내었다.

  • We report on the electrochemical properly of LiZ $n_{x}$Mn $_{2-x}$ $O_4$ for different degrees of Zn substitution(x) Though all cathode material showed spinel phase based on cubic phase in X-ray diffraction, other peaks(M $n_2$ $O_3$ or M $n_3$ $O_4$) gradually exhibited and became intense with the increase of x vague in LiZ $n_{x}$Mn $_{2-x}$ $O_4$. In addtion, TG-DTA analysis exhibited that both LiM $n_2$ $O_4$ and LiZ $n_{0.1}$ M $n_{1.9}$ $O_4$ occurred the weight loss(TG) and the endothermic and exothermic reaction(DTA) until 80$0^{\circ}C$ When x=0.1 in LiZ $n_{x}$Mn $_{2-x}$ $O_4$ cathode materials showed the charge and discharge capacity of about 100mAh/g at first cycle and about 70mAh/g after tooth cycle.cle.e.cle.e.e.e.
