This study was conducted to examine the recognition level of the people on oriental medical Services and the need for it's improvement. Data were collected from 1174 residents in Daegu metropolitan city and Gyungbuk province. According to the satisfaction level with each items of oriental medical services, the respondents had positive views on efficacy, kindness, and side-effects. They, however, had negative view on the cost of oriental medical services. In regarding to the priority of improvement of oriental medical system, 'expansion of insurance benefit package' ranked first. Followed by 'safety of herbal medicine(heavy metal/pesticides)', 'improvement of scientific methods and diagnostic technique' etc. For the further development of oriental medical services in the consumer - focused and evidenced-based health care environment, much attention to implement relevant health policy reflecting user's need positively should be made.

In this paper, we propose an HMM(Hidden Markov modeJ)-MLP(Multi-layer perceptron) hybrid model for recognizing legal words on the English bank check. We adopt an explicit segmentation-based word level architecture to implement an HMM engine with nonscaled and non-normalized symbol vectors. We also introduce an MLP for implicit segmentation-based word recognition. The final recognition model consists of a hybrid combination of the HMM and MLP with a new hybrid probability measure. The main contributions of this model are a novel design of the segmentation-based variable length HMMs and an efficient method of combining two heterogeneous recognition engines. ExperimenLs have been conducted using the legal word database of CENPARMI with encouraging results.

Objectives: We surveyed the awareness and current status of using fumigant carbon disulfide for exterminate Curculio sikkimensis among chestnut farmers in Chungnam Province to suggest directions for health education and public relations. Methods: We designed questionnaires to evaluate recognition of fumigant carbon disulfide. We conducted a questionnaire survey to assess recognition and recognition level of fumigant carbon disulfide by the study variables. Results: The recognition status for fumigant carbon disulfide was 74.5%, but the recognition level was low (know well 27.5%). The path of recognition was 45.1% and 15.7% for neighbor and rural technology center, respectively. The recognition status for warning label of fumigant carbon disulfide was 52.9%. Recognition for warning label of fumigant carbon disulfide was tended to increase with high educational attainment, bigger owning land area. Recognition on the content of warning label were 29.4%, 27.5%, 21.6%, and 21.6% for inflammability, toxicity, hazard, and explosiveness, respectively. Using personal protection equipment was tended to increase with the high status of awareness on fumigant carbon disulfide. Conclusions: Health education programs for using fumigant carbon disulfide are needed for chestnut farmers. In addition, publicity information activities about prevention and protection of carbon disulfide poisoning are needed for high risk farmers.

This study aims to analyse the consumer and regional dwellers preferences of nonghyup influenced by contributions of socio-economical using ordered logit model. The survey data were obtained from 225 adults in Chungnam province, cross sectional data in 2007. This paper especially estimates the impact of socio-economic characteristics, such as sex, occupation, school career, and emotional and subjective recognition of contributions of regional socio-economical and culture development, social welfare, It also examines the impact of recognition of cooperational level with local government's policy, customer satisfaction ratings, degree of business ethics. The main results are as follows; the consumer and regional dwellers preferences of nonghyup is not affected by sex, occupation, school career. But the consumer and regional dwellers preferences of nonghyup is influenced by emotional and subjective recognition of contributions of regional socio-economical and culture development, social welfare, It also influenced by emotional and subjective recognition of policy cooperation level with local government, customer satisfaction ratings, degree of business ethics.

A measurement technique of a sea height of burst is introduced for a proximate test using the image recognition of video cameras. In the burst of fuse on the ocean, the burst center of fuse, the sea surface level and the height of calibration poles are measured by the process of image obtained from cameras. Finally, the height of burst of fuse can be computed by Hough transform algorithm. The error compensation algorithms are proposed to eliminate the errors caused by camera level and environmental parameters. As a result of experiment, it has been proved that the proposed measurement system shows the recognition of the center point of the burst image with ${\pm}$0.5m error.

Noise handing is very important in voice recognition of vehicle environment. that has been studying about to hardware and software approach. hardware method that is noise filter circuit design, basically using Low-pass filter. it was shown a good result. and the side of software that has been developing about to algorithm for Noise canceler, NN(neural network), etc. in this paper we have analysis about to classified parameter pattern matting level for voice recognition on car noise environment that use of DTW(Dynamic Time Warping) which is applicable time series pattern recognition algorithm.

The purpose of this research is to analyse the factors affecting household's educational expenditure on on-line educational system, student's recognition of better remarks effect, and satisfaction of on-line educational system. The sample of this study was 484 parents who had experiences of using on-Une educational system for their children being from preschool to high school. The results were as follows ; First, the household's educational expenditure on on-line educational system was affected from the sex, children's school level, and using on-line educational system or not. Second, the significant variables which affected students' recognition of better remarks effect were husbands' job, number of children, the first child's school level, households' monthly expenditure, students' remarks at school, and using on-line educational system or not. Third, the satisfaction of on-line educational system was affected from husband's job, using on-line educational system or not, and the students' recognition of better remarks effect.

The purpose of this study is to examine the difference between wife and husband in the level of stress recognition and distress subsequent to the life events, and thus 5 kinds of study questions have been established for the achievement of this purpose. Data were obtained from 371 couples who resided in Seoul through Likert-Type questionaire, and Frequency, Percentage, Mean, T-Test, One Way ANOVA, Pearson ${\gamma}$ Correlation, Multiple Regression, Cronbach ${\alpha}$ Coefficient were calculated. As the result of this studay, the experiences subsequent to life events, the level stress recognition and distress was different from wife and husband, and it was generally shown that those are higher for wife rather than husband.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of staffs' general characteristics and institutional characteristics on the staff members' recognition of the level of ethical management in the elderly welfare institutions and to provide basic materials for raising standard of ethical management in the elderly welfare institutions. For this purpose, we conducted a questionnaire survey using structured self-filling-type questionnaires for 245 staffs of elderly welfare institutions in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. This study sets general characteristics of staffs and institutional characteristics as the independent variables and the staff members' recognition of the level of ethical management as the dependent variable. The variables are investigated through the descriptive statistics such as frequency, percentage and average analysis, and the difference of effect on the staff members' recognition of ethical management in the elderly welfare institutions by each independent variable was analysed by t-test, ANOVA and multiple regression analysis. The results of the study shows that in terms of general characteristics of staffs, the higher male to female ratio and the higher educational level; and in institutional characteristics, the less experience in basic ethics education and the better ethical working environment of the institution are the positive factors for that the staff members estimate the level of ethical management of their workplace high. Based on these results, for making staff members recognize the level of ethical management in the elderly welfare institutions higher, we should create actual atmosphere of the ethical working environment in the institution and implement not formal but step-by-step intensive ethics education that make employees can apply it in the real situations. In conclusion, this study gives the practical suggestions for improving the staff members' recognition of ethical management level in the practice field of elderly welfare on the fast-changing trends including downsizing and privatization.

The purpose of this study is to identify the way of development of school library and construction of information system for school library. In order to identify the way, the school librarian recognition level of school library information system was analyzed, since the recognition level about the information system can affect the school library development. Data is collected through the questionnaire. The result can be used to develope a school library instruction program for teachers and a base material for recovering the school library fundamental function.
