  • To analyze dialy meal of royal meal, studied Jook Soora Sang (Rice Gruel), Mieum Sang (Thin Gruel) and Bankwa Sang, Soora Sang in Hyun Neung Won were on record Wonheng Ulmyo Jungri Euigwae (1795). Historic book ‘Jungri Euigwae’ described the king's visit to his father's royal tomb‘ Hyun Neung Won’, during the domain of Cheung Jo, the 22nd king of Choson Dynasty. The results obtained from this study are as follows. Rice Gruel (Jook Soora Sang), taken before breakfast, was arranged the same as the Soora Sang. The table for thin gruel (Mieum) was arranged in three kinds of sets; one for thin gruel, the others for stewed meat (Goem) and sugared fruit (Jeong Kwa). The diet seems to have been quit scientific and restorative. Bankwa Sang and Soora Sang in Hyun Neung Won was arranged the same as the other Bankwa Sang and Soora Sang. Therefore setting the table of royal meal had a rule.

  • MeLuhan's work has enormous power in the study of media theory. In Lee-Sang's works, we can find out the Macluhan's idea, "tactile" writing, which enhances more than one single sense, we-Sang's pieces, viewed as the origin of Korean concrete poetry, are being reconfigured in modern times. After publication, Lee-Sang's esoteric and complicated poem was considered as the result of schizophrenia. However, in the reconfiguring process, his continuously issued poems were reconsidered as a fraction of visual arts and analyzed as the substances of Korean dadaism and an attitude to challenge. But the real importance of Lee-Sang's poem is the extension of a sense; his poem is unbiased either by visual part or by emotional part, though one sense is extended to another sense. Now you will see the reinterpretation of we-Sang's world from the viewpoint of media, 'extension of senses'.

Mathematical Expressions and their Meanings in Lee Sang's Poetry (이상(李箱)의 시(詩)에 나타난 수학적 표현과 의미)

  • Lee Sang, one of the representative poets of Korean Modern Poetry, wrote poems which present the existentialistic modernism in the 1920s, the chaotic era of Korean history. The characteristics of his works have been shown by various points of view. This paper especially explored the meaning and feature of mathematical expressions by numbers, symbols and other signs of mathematics in Lee's poems. His poems are composed by scientific and abstract rules in mathematics which are expressed as mathematical symbols. The paper focuses on analyzing seven poems which maximizes mathematical expressions among his poetry. This kind of work would be the one of ways to figure out the features of mathematics through literature.

A Visualization of the Solution of Truncated Series (절적(截積) 해법의 시각화)

  • We study the solution of truncated series of Lee Sang-hyeog with the aspect of visualization. Lee Sang-hyeog solved a problem of truncated series by 4 ways: Shen Kuo' series method, splitting method, difference sequence method, and Ban Chu Cha method. As the structure and solution of truncated series in tertiary number is already clarified with algebraic symbols in some previous research, we express and explain it by visual representation. The explanation and proof of algebraic symbols about truncated series is clear in mathematical aspects; however, it has a lot of difficulties in the aspects of understanding. In other words, it is more effective in the educational situations to provide algebraic symbols after the intuitive understanding of structure and solution of truncated series with visual representation.

  • 반도체 기술의 발전으로 기존에 전자회로 부품으로 사용되던 LED(Light Emitting Diode)는 차세대 조명용 광원으로 대두되고 있다. LED는 소비전력이 작아 에너지를 절약할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 수명이 길어 유지보수 비용이 획기적으로 줄어든다. 현재 신호등과 같은 지시용 조명기기를 대체할 광원으로 다양한 시도가 이루어지고 있다. LED는 자체적인 발열은 적지만 주변온도에 민감하게 광도가 변화한다는 단점을 가지고 있다. 높은 온도는 LED의 수명에도 영향을 미쳐 열화를 빨리 가져오게 된다. 따라서 정전류제어를 통해 LED의 전류를 일정하게 하고 온도변화에 영향을 받지 않고 광도를 일정하게 유지하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 정전류 구동회로에 열화로 인한 LED의 수명의 연장하기 위해 온도변화에 따라 LED의 구동전류와 일정한 광출력을 유지하기 위한 제어회로를 제안하였다. 제안한 제어회로는 시뮬레이션을 통해 타당성을 검증하였다.
