1. Objectives: This study was performed to research the relationship between Sasang Constitutional medicine and Hyungsang medicine. 2. Methods: Four hundred and thirty applicants are involved in this study. They are devided into Sasang Constitution and Hyungsang Classification 3. Results and Conclusions: There are significances between Sasang Constitutional diagnosis and Hyungsang Classification. There are significantly more Bangkwang-body, Gi-kwa, Taeyang-hyung, Yangmyung-hyung in Taeyangin and Bangkwang-body, Jung-kwa, Soyang-hyung, Yangmyung-hyung in Soyangin. There are significantly more Dam-body, Gi-kwa, Taeyang-hyung, Yangmyung-hyung in Taeeumin and Bangkwang-body, Gi-kwa, Taeyang-hyung, Yangmyung-hyung in Soeumin.

The purpose of this study is to review the trend of Dong-gi acupuncture treatment and to suggest the future direction of its study. We performed literature search using KISS, RISS, NDSL, DBpia, OASIS, National Assembly Library and CNKI. We categorized literatures by year, diseases or symptoms, type of articles, motion types, acupoints, and clinical methods. There were few Korean researches found, but recently research in China has been growing rapidly. According to the researches, Dong-gi acupuncture treatment has been mainly used for painful symptoms of musculoskeletal diseases using distal acupoints. However, its field of application has been widening. It has been shown to be effective for a variety of diseases like cerebrovascular disease or neurologic disorder. We expect Dong-gi acupuncture treatment to be widely applied for various diseases and more clinical studies performed to prove the curative effect on various diseases.

On June 12, 1791, the old bachelor Kim Hee-jip and the old lady Shin Deok-bin's Daughter get married. The wedding ceremony is a state-led so-called 'virgin virgin bachelor's marriage project'. At that time, the king ordered the recorder to record the case, which is called . The private sector also made it into a work, which is the Chinese drama written by LeeOk(李鈺). was created with the purpose of praising the king, and it inserted entertainment elements into it, so it had a frame of plays, but it did not have a performance in mind from the beginning. LeeOk uses different styles in each of the four acts. He tried to soothe his boredom by setting tales and proverbs in Acts 1 and 2, Pansori in Act 3, and drama in Act 4. In 1918, BaekDooYong(白斗鏞) published DongSangGiChan[東床記纂], which is combines drama and Yadam . In previous studies, these two were perceived as different works, but the two rooms were closely linked: the link was 'someone recognize me[知 己]'. He understood the table of contents made by Lee as 'JaeHyun(才賢)', 'deokhye(德慧)', 'Kwontaek(眷澤)', 'Bokyeon(福 緣)' respectively, and recorded the version of the yadam that fits it in . From acts 1 to 4, Baek contained his desire in it by constructing 'someone recognizes me → I recognize someone → do good things[積善] → blessings[餘慶]'. This is why we can't comprehend and as completely different works.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is evaluate of the effect of Dong-gi Acupuncture(DGA) on rehabilitation after stroke. Methods : 32 patients who had a stroke of paralysis were randomized into two groups. 17 patients were treated with DGA on sound side combined active or passive exercise on affected side. The other 15 patients were exclusive DGA group and the method retaining needles on acupoints of affected side for about 20 minutes were applied. We evaluated by Manual muscle test, Range Of Motion(ROM), Visual Analog Scale(VAS) and Modified Barthel index(MBI) before treatment, after 10 days and after 20 days. Results : In terms of power of lower limb, active ROM of shoulder abduction and MBI, the sample group showed statistically significant improve. In terms of power of lower limb ROM of hip joint abduction and affected side pain, significant difference between two groups was not shown. Conclusions : In this clinical study, Dong-gi Acupuncture therapy can be used for improving the power of upper limb, active ROM of shoulder abduction and MBI score after hemiplegic stroke.
