Objectives: The purpose of this study is to be conducive to selecting effective educational method for AED(Automated External Defibrillator) education through comparing educational effects between VSI(Video Self-Instruction) and lecturer-centered learning on AED(Automated External Defibrillator) in undergraduates. Method: This study targeted totally 76 undergraduates (39 people for experimental group, 37 people for control group) at J university where is located in J province, from June 8, 2009 to June 12. The analytical method was performed by using SPSS WIN 12.0 Version program. Results: In difference before and after education of the skill performance accuracy in AED between groups, the experimental group(2.89) was higher compared to the control group(2.75). In difference before and after education of knowledge in AED between groups, the experimental group(2.03) was higher compared to the control group(1.82). In difference before and after education of attitude toward AED between groups, the control group(2.14) was higher compared to the experimental group(1.85). In difference before and after education of self-confidence in AED between groups, the experimental group(1.88) was higher compared to the control group(1.76).

Purpose: This study is undertaken from the standpoint of student-centered learning and theoretical paradigms that have developed in the business world and display conceptual affinities: the transfer of knowledge and training. Research design, data and methodology: Utilizing questionnaire surveys and multivariate data analysis are two research methodologies (CFA, SEM). Around 201 undergraduate students who were studying in Vietnam provided the data. Results: The results show importance of the faculty role in students' knowledge acquisition. The findings show that Ability to form a good relationship positively influences the development of competence. Additionally, neither ability to develop a good relationship nor learning drive or knowledge acquisition are significantly correlated with one another. The growth of competencies is positively impacted by the suitability of teaching approaches. Knowledge acquisition is favorably impacted by learning motivation, and knowledge acquisition in turn is positively impacted by competence development. Conclusions: Research has shown the important role of lecturers in students' knowledge acquisition. From this result, some implications related to lecturers are also given to help improve students' ability to acquire knowledge. Building good relationships with students (ready to answer questions, positive relationships) and good expertise will help increase learning motivation, ability to acquire knowledge as well as improve development for students.

Despite steady economic growth of e-learning industry, manpower is lacking in e-learning industry. In this study, We developed a new e-learning business model including open market portal system to solve this problem. The existing e-learning business models required complicated procedure for creating contents. Therefore it took long time and great expense. But in this study we developed the business model with open market portal system, it can support to make easily for e-learning contents. We analysed usefulness our program and other popular programs with thirty lecturers. As a result of survey, usefulness of our system is presented. The study suggests differently the student-centered business model and the lecturer-centered business model than existing e-learning business model had the manufacturing company-centered business model and the services-centered business model. We anticipate the new business model invigorate the e-learning industry.

This study aims to make a comparison of educational effectiveness between instructor-centered learning and video self-instruction(VSI) about automatic external defibrillator(AED) for high school girls in order to help select an effective teaching method concerning AED. A total of 59 high school girls (29 for the experimental group, 30 for the control group) in J Province participated in this study from July 7 to 14, 2010. The analysis was carried out by using an SPSS WIN 12.0 Version program. After the AED instruction, the knowledge increased more in the experimental group (1.72) than that in the control group (1.60); self-confidence increased more in the experimental group (1.58) than that in the control group (1.46); and accuracy of technical performance increased more in the control group (5.46) than that in the experimental group (4.20). The experimental group (5.68) was more satisfied with AED instruction than the control group (4.95). Since video self-instruction proved to be more educationally effective than instructor-centered learning in most areas, it is necessary to apply video self-instruction to AED instruction in the future. However, further researches are necessary to see if video self-instruction is effective.
