This article is devoted to the problem of national and patriotic education of young students by means of digital technologies in the conditions of distance learning environment. It is emphasized that national and patriotic education is a powerful means of strengthening the unity and integrity of Ukraine. It is proved that national and patriotic education will be effective under the condition of systematic and purposeful activity on formation of patriotic consciousness in youth, sense of national dignity, necessity of service of ideals and values of the country. Various forms of educational work of national and patriotic orientation at Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, which were conducted by digital technologies: online thematic lectures, educational classes, round tables, workshops, guest online meetings with famous researchers of historical heritage of Ukraine, online tours of historical places, virtual exhibitions of art, participation in the national-patriotic student camp "Diia" (Action) and etc. The activity of the University Library and V. O. Sukhomlinsky State Scientific and Pedagogical Library of Ukraine of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, which has a significant impact on the formation of national consciousness and social and political activity of students by modern means of information and communication technologies. It is determined that the project "Inclusive 3D map" helps to broaden the horizons and deepen the knowledge of young students, education of a true citizen, the formation of cognitive interest in the subjects studied, motivation to study, raising awareness of Ukrainians on historical and cultural heritage. The study showed that young students take an active social attitude: they speak Ukrainian, want to live and work in Ukraine, respect their homeland, its traditions, cultural and historical past, love to travel and they are tolerant of people with special needs. Promising areas of educational work with students based on the use of a wide range of information and communication technologies, namely 3D games, TV tandems, podcasts, social networks, video resources in national and patriotic education of youth.

Quality evaluation of beef carcasses is an important issue in the livestock industry. Recently, through the AI monitor system based on artificial intelligence, the quality manager can receive help in making accurate decisions based on the analysis of beef carcass images or result information. This artificial intelligence dataset is an important factor in judging performance. Existing datasets may have different surface orientation or resolution. In this paper, we proposed a two-stage classification model that can efficiently manage the grades of beef carcass image using deep learning. And to overcome the problem of the various conditions of the image, a new dataset of 1,300 images was constructed. The recognition rate of deep network for 5-grade classification using the new dataset was 72.5%. Two-stage evaluation is a method to increase reliability by taking advantage of the large difference between grades 1++, 1+, and grades 1 and 2 and 3. With two experiments using the proposed two stage model, the recognition rates of 73.7% and 77.2% were obtained. As this, The proposed method will be an efficient method if we have a dataset with 100% recognition rate in the first stage.

Extracting students' own culture and resources as main sources in science class, we begin a research to explore teaching and learning settings that are more responsive to adolescents. This study has been designed to explore the funds of knowledge that students bring into middle school science class. It also focused on the features of teaching and learning settings that stimulated the autonomous inflow of students' funds of knowledge as resources of science learning. Data from participant observations and in-depth interviews with 7th grade students were qualitatively analyzed based on grounded theory. We found that students' funds of knowledge were formed from their family life, neighbor communities, peer group, and pop culture. The funds of knowledge based on peer culture emerged as the most salient factor of students' enhanced participation and utterance. Common features of classes that stimulated the inflow of funds of knowledge were analyzed to be: (1) hybrid spaces for learning designed in advance: (2) sharing and enlargement of the funds of knowledge that has been brought into the class: and (3) common orientation of the community of practice for knowledge co-construction and shared outcomes. From these findings, this paper discussed the educational implications for promoting students' potential resources to actual sources of science class. It also discussed students' development of participation specifically among the generally marginalized students. Science classes based on the funds of knowledge of students offer an increased possibility of knowledge co-construction through the hybridized interactions of student's everyday lives and science knowledge and lead to more meaningful learning experiences.
As computer graphics, virtual reality and augmented reality technologies have been developed, in many application areas based on those techniques, interaction for 3D space is required such as selection and manipulation of an 3D object. In this paper, we propose a framework for a vision-based 3D interaction which enables to simulate functions of an expensive 3D mouse for a desktop environment. The proposed framework includes a specially manufactured interaction device using three-color LEDs. By recognizing position and color of the LED from video sequences, various events of the mouse and 6 DOF interactions are supported. Since the proposed device is more intuitive and easier than an existing 3D mouse which is expensive and requires skilled manipulation, it can be used without additional learning or training. In this paper, we explain methods for making a pointing device using three-color LEDs which is one of the components of the proposed framework, calculating 3D position and orientation of the pointer and analyzing color of the LED from video sequences. We verify accuracy and usefulness of the proposed device by showing a measurement result of an error of the 3D position and orientation.

This study empirically analyzed the relationship with major influencing factors in enhancing innovation capability of start-ups and their influence on innovation performance. If the existing innovation competency studies were analyzed from a general corporate perspective, In this study, it was analyzed from the perspective of start-up companies with less than 7 years of founding. As a result of a survey on startups, learning competency among the sub-variables of innovation competency, R&D competency and marketing competency are significant positive (+) consistent with both organizational competence related to organizational culture and organizational goals, technology commercialization competency, and close product competency. Has been shown to affect. The technical competence part does not have a significant effect on the product competency. However, it could not be interpreted that the importance of these competencies was low. This is because although technical competence did not directly affect product competency, it was analyzed as a meaningful result in relation to R&D competency. In addition, the characteristics of the company were classified into technology orientation and market orientation, and the relationship between each sub-variable was analyzed. The technical competence of a technology-oriented company did not have a significant effect on the product competency, but it was found that it had an effective effect on the R&D capacity. It is also consistent with the research findings that the initial survival rate is low as the characteristics of start-ups are often based on technology and ideas. Based on these results, There is a difference in major innovation capabilities according to the growth stage of a company. From a practical point of view, I would like to present approaches and implications for strengthening the competence of start-ups.
Recently, the use of Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT has been increasing in various fields such as interactive commerce and mobile financial services. However, LMMs, which are mainly created by learning existing documents, can also learn various human biases inherent in documents. Nevertheless, there have been few comparative studies on the aspects of bias and discrimination in LLMs. The purpose of this study is to examine the existence and extent of nine types of discrimination (Age, Disability status, Gender identity, Nationality, Physical appearance, Race ethnicity, Religion, Socio-economic status, Sexual orientation) in LLMs and suggest ways to improve them. For this purpose, we utilized BBQ (Bias Benchmark for QA), a tool for identifying discrimination, to compare three large-scale language models including ChatGPT, GPT-3, and Bing Chat. As a result of the evaluation, a large number of discriminatory responses were observed in the mega-language models, and the patterns differed depending on the mega-language model. In particular, problems were exposed in elder discrimination and disability discrimination, which are not traditional AI ethics issues such as sexism, racism, and economic inequality, and a new perspective on AI ethics was found. Based on the results of the comparison, this paper describes how to improve and develop large-scale language models in the future.

The purpose of the study is to explore the science teaching orientations of secondary science teachers, and how they influence the planning and execution of reform-based lessons. Professional development workshop for constructivist teaching consisted of three different phases; five lectures, small group discussion, and preparing lesson plans. Four teachers who participated also executed their lesson plans in their own classroom. All workshops were videotape recorded. Classroom observations and interviews were conducted and recorded. Instructional materials were also collected for each science class. All data recorded were transcribed and analyzed. Based on the data collected from multiple sources, we identified each teacher's teaching orientations, and through this lens, we also tried to understand their classroom practices. We expected teacher-participants to implement constructivist science teaching. However, the differences among teachers in the course of actual planning and implementing activities for constructivist science was wider than we expected and even some teachers were unsuccessful. Teaching orientations can act as a filter for teachers when they decide whether to accept and apply new knowledge about teaching and learning to actual lessons or not. Even if a teacher plans a guided-inquiry lesson, her/his didactic teaching orientation could be revealed in actual classroom, and lead her/his class to other direction which is quite different from her/his original intention. Although the teachers participated in the same workshops in our study, they planned and executed differently and their own teaching orientations contribute substantially to their practice. Understanding the role of science teaching orientations could be an important step in addressing issues of diverse difficulties in supporting reform efforts in science.
The XI World Congress on fertility and sterility was held during 26th June-2nd July 1983, in Dublin, Ireland. The general view and impression of the congress are as follows. Scientific Programme 1. The meeting of executive and scientific commitees IFFS were held on June 26th, July 1st, and general assembly on June 28th, and July 1st. 2. Accreditation : IFFS Dublin 83, is recognised for 32 cognates formal learning by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Social Programme 1. Dublin city orientation tour, welcome reception, Opening and closing ceremonies, evening of traditional Irish entertainment, Irish night at Powercourt Town-house Center, the banquet, State reception-(hosted by Minister of Health and Social secretary at Dublin Castle, and by the Lord Mayor of Dublin at National Concert Hall)-are introduced briefly in this paper. 2. The congress tour;, such as Georgian Dublin and shopping tour, Garden of Ireland tour, Boyne Valley tour and Curragh of Kildare tour were prepared during congress. 3. After closing the congress, for some of delegates an opportunity to sample, A taste of Dublin, such as Abbey theater, Abbey tavern and Jury's Cabaret etc were available.
This study is to examine the effects of smartphone addiction on the mothers' parenting efficacy and parenting attitude. This study consisted of 203 smartphone using mothers of preschoolers in Gyonggi-do. The measurements included smartphone addiction scale(National Information Society Agency, 2011), the parenting efficacy scale(Choi & Chung, 2001), and the parenting attitude scale(Bae, 2005). Theses analyses were included in the Pearson correlation coefficient, the T-test, and the Hierarchical regression analysis. The findings indicated that the younger mothers showed higher levels of smartphone addiction. The results of smartphone addiction subscales on parenting efficacy indicated that the disturbance of adaptive functioning was related with general parenting ability, healthy parenting ability, communication ability, and learning guidance ability. The results of smartphone addiction subscales on parenting attitude showed that the disturbance of adaptive functioning was positively related with rejective parenting attitude and virtual life orientation was negatively associated with affective and autonomous parenting attitude. These findings can emphasize parents' appropriate smartphone use, and be useful resources to develop and utilize the programs of positive parenting efficacy and parenting attitude.
The purpose of the study is to verify the effectiveness the preliminary Health Administrators' Social Problem Solving Competency(SPSC) through the application of the learner-centered program Convergence Design Thinking(CDT) conducted by undergraduate school of Intrapreneurship the integrated curriculum, and evaluation of SPSC improvement effect. A pre-post-questionnaire survey was carried out that started March to June 2016 among the forty-five second-year college students from the Health Administration Department who participated in the CDT during the 15 weeks training. The main results are as follows. CDT were positive influenced on the improvement of Negative problem orientation, Impulsive careless style(ICS) and Avoidance coping style of the preliminary Health Administrators' SPSC. Especially, female college student or the absence of working experience, it was effective on the improvement of ICS of the participants. This CDT program identified having positive effects on their participation, SPSC. To further improve SPSC, The development of integrated curriculum and application of creative teaching method like this CDT is highly recommended.
