The purpose of this study is to find out some countermeasure to Korean companies entered Chinese market through analyzing an arbitration case resolved by CIETAC applied of Chinese Commission Agency Law and CISG. China create legal relationship between the principal and the third party under Chinese Consignment Contract Law. Korean companies so make sure whether this Contract is included when they conclude international commercial contract. If yes, they have to prove their recognition for the relationship between the principal and the commission agent when needed. If the parties agreed an additional period of time of delivery and the seller do not deliver the goods within this period, this breach might be regarded as fundamental nature and the buyer could declare the contract avoided. In addition, late delivery might also be regarded as fundamental breach when market price is fluctuated. It is understandable that attorney's fees is recoverable one, but it is not understandable that arbitrator's extra expenses such as travel and accommodation expenses is not recoverable with the reason that arbitrator comes outside of the country.
A study was performed to identify current drug shortages, assess impact of drug shortages on public hospitals and patients, and investigate needs of pharmacists for a drug shortage list. An e-mail survey was sent to the pharmacists of 13 national public hospitals. Total 61.5% of public hospitals has 10 or fewer drugs a year in short supply. Shortages involved mood drugs, anti-tumor drugs, analgesics, antibiotics and etc. in 2012. Among them 75.0% was prescription drugs and the other 25.0% was non-prescription drugs. 79.2% was domestic products and 20.8% was imported drugs. Only 12.5% was injections. Less than 3 pharmacists usually spent within 3 hours managing one drug shortage. Since a single item for a certain medicine may raise risk of drug shortages, it's needed to consider developing manuals, laying up medicine stocks and holding plural medicines for drug shortages in public hospitals. Main information resources of drug shortages are wholesalers or manufacturers. But the information appeared to be not only inadequate but also too late for appropriate activities. A survey of pharmacists revealed that overall 84.6% of respondents were in need of the drug shortage list. They expected it to be conducted to take proper measures for the drug shortage and to improve patient healthcare outcome and convenience. This study will contribute to improving public health by promoting stable supply of drugs and repairing the information delivery system.

Consider a typical wireless sensor network in which stem nodes form the backbone network of mesh topology while each stem node together with leaf nodes in its vicinity forms a subnetwork of star topology. In such a wireless sensor network, we must heed the following when we design a MAC scheme supporting the packet delivery from a leaf node to a stem node. First, leaf nodes are usually battery-powered and it is difficult to change or recharge their batteries. Secondly, a wireless sensor network is often deployed to collect and update data periodically. Late delivery of a data segment by a sensor node causes the sink node to defer data processing and the data segment itself to be obsolete. Thirdly, extensive signaling is extremely limited and complex computation is hardly supported. Taking account of these facts, a MAC scheme must be able to save energy and support timeliness in packet delivery while being simple and robust as well. In this paper, we propose a version of ALOHA as a MAC scheme for a wireless sensor network. While conserving the simplicity and robustness of the original version of ALOHA, the proposed version of ALOHA possesses a distinctive feature that a sensor node decides between stop and continuation prior to each delivery attempt for a packet. Such a decision needs a stopping rule and we suggest a Bayes stopping rule. Note that a Bayes stopping rule minimizes the Bayes risk which reflects the energy, timeliness and throughput losses. Also, a Bayes stopping rule is practical since a sensor node makes a decision only using its own history of delivery attempt results and the prior information about the failure in delivery attempt. Numerical examples confirm that the proposed version of ALOHA employing a Bayes stopping rule is a useful MAC scheme in the severe environment of wireless sensor network.

Background/Aims: There have been numerous efforts to reduce mother-to-child transmission (MTCT) of hepatitis B virus (HBV) with antiviral agents during pregnancy. However, there are limited data regarding the outcomes of pregnant women after delivery. This study was performed to evaluate the efficacy of antiviral agents in preventing MTCT of HBV and maternal long-term outcomes. Methods: The HBV-infected pregnant women treated with antiviral agents to prevent MTCT were retrospectively reviewed. Forty-one pregnant women who received telbivudine or tenofovir during late pregnancy (28-34 week) were analyzed. Hepatitis B virus surface antibody (HBsAb) positivity was tested in 43 infants after 7 months of birth. Eleven mothers were followed >1 year after delivery. Results: The mean HBV DNA titer before antiviral therapy was 8.67 (6.60-9.49) log copies/mL, and the median age at delivery was 32 years (range, 22-40). Eleven patients were treated with tenofovir and 30 with telbivudine. The median duration was 57 days (range, 23-100), and the median HBV DNA titer at birth was 5.06 log copies/mL (range, 2.06-6.50). Antiviral treatments were associated with significant HBV DNA reduction (P<0.001). Among 43 infants (two cases of twins), HBsAb was not detected in two, subsequently confirmed to have HBV infection. Biochemical flare was observed in two of 11 mothers followed >12 months, and an antiviral agent was administered. Conclusions: Antiviral treatment during late pregnancy effectively reduced MTCT. Long-term follow-up should be required in such cases. In addition, given that maternal biochemical flare occurred in 18% of mothers, re-administration of antiviral agents might be required.
Radiation induced lung injury has long been considered a treatment limiting factor for patients requiring thoracic radiation. This radiation induced lung injury happens early as well as late. Radiation induced lung injury can occur in two phases viz. early (< 6 months) when it is called radiation pneumonitis and late (>6 months) when it is called radiation induced lung fibrosis. There are multiple factors that can be patient, disease or treatment related that predict the incidence and severity of radiation pneumonitis. Radiation induced damage to the type I pneumocytes is the triggering factor to initiate such reactions. Over the years, radiation therapy has witnessed a paradigm shift in radiation planning and delivery and successfully reduced the incidence of lung injury. Radiation pneumonitis is usually a diagnosis of exclusion. Steroids, ACE inhibitors and pentoxyphylline constitute the cornerstone of therapy. Radiation induced lung fibrosis is another challenging aspect. The pathophysiology of radiation fibrosis includes continuing inflammation and microvascular changes due to pro-angiogenic and profibrogenic stimuli resembling those in adult bronchiectasis. General supportive management, mobilization of airway secretions, anti-inflammatory therapy and management of acute exacerbations remains the treatment option. Radiation induced lung injury is an inevitable accompaniment of thoracic radiation.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify breastfeeding practice with late preterm infants (LPIs), and to determine predictors of exclusive breastfeeding at the 12th week after discharge. Methods: The participants were 106 mothers of LPIs hospitalized in neonatal intensive care units at two university hospitals. Data were collected between February and October, 2013. Questionnaires included characteristics of LPIs, their mothers, and feeding-related characteristics. Feeding methods were exclusive breastfeeding, mixed feeding, and formula feeding. Results: Exclusive breastfeeding steadily increased from 5.7% at the 1st week to 19.8% at the 12th week, as did formula feeding from 27.3% to 67.9%. Contrarily, mixed feeding decreased from 67.0% at the 1st week to 12.3% at the 12th week. The ratio of formula feeding was higher than that of exclusive breastfeeding over time. Predictors for exclusive breastfeeding were the following: type of delivery (OR=2.96, 95%CI=1.07-8.14), feeding intolerance (OR=3.03, 95%CI=1.26-7.25) and feeding method during hospitalization (OR=7.84, 95%CI=3.15-19.53). Conclusion: In order to increase breastfeeding opportunities for LPIs, educational programs for gestational age-appropriate breastfeeding should be developed. The focus of breastfeeding education needs to be on mothers who delivered their LPIs through Cesarean-section and LPIs who had feeding intolerance or were fed only formula during hospitalization.
Hemogram and serum composition of pregnant rabbits were studied and the results obtained were as follows: 1. Erythrocyte, hemoglobin concentration and hemotocrit value of pregnant rabbits decreased at the late stage of gestation, and 1 week after delivery the values were recovered to the normal levels. Number of erythrocyte and hematocrit value were not found to be significant, but hemoglobin concentration showed significant differences at the third and fourth week of pregnancy. 2. Total leucocytes of pregnant rabbits increased continuously as gestation progresses and 1 week postpartum the values were returned to normal. Highly significant changes were observed in the third and the fourth week of pregnancy. Neutrophil was revealed highly significant rise at the third and the fourth week of gestation and 1 week postpartum, but lympocyte was decreased highly significantlly. 3. Serum calcium of pregnant rabbits revealed the tendency of decrease as gestation progresses and 1 week after delivery the value was returned to normal, and highly significant decrease was abserved at the fourth week. Serum inorganic phosphorus of pregnant rabbits showed highly significant decrease at the fourth week of gestation, but no differences were observed at the other period of gestation and 1 week postpartum. 4. Serum protein of pregnants rabbits showed the tendency of decrease continuously pregnancy progresses, and 1 week after delivery showed the normal values. Highly significant decrease was found at the fourth week of gestation. the levels of serum lipids in pregnant rabbits was unchanged untill the third week of pregnancy, but at the fourth week and 1 week postpartum, the rise was highly significant. The level of total serum cholesterol in pregnants rabbis was shown the tendency of decrease untill the end of the second week of gestation and significantly dropped at the third week, thereafter, the value was rose significantly at the fourth week of gestation and 1 week postpartum.
The purpose of this study was to measure the pizza purchasing behavioral characteristics of respondents and importances of factors affecting pizza purchase, to estimate the effects of attributes on pizza restaurant choice, and to predict probability of selecting a particular pizza restaurant The questionnaire consisted of two parts: The paired experimental profiles, purchasing behavior and importances of factors affecting pizza purchase. This study generated profiles of 16 hypothetical pizza restaurant based on the seven attributes. The profiles comprised 16 discrete sets of variables, each of which had two levels. For this study, researcher randomly selected 150 students of university as respondents. Twenty students did not complete the survey instrument, resulting in a final sample size of 129. All estimations were carried out using frequency, correlation, phreg procedure of SAS package. The results were as followed Based on the estimated model, the -2LL(B) statistic for a model with all explanatory variables was 5585.761 and the Chi-square statistic is 134.786 with 7 df (p<0.001). At p<0.001, we would reject the null hypothesis that the attributes do not influence choice. The parameter estimate for price was highest, followed by late delivery time, promised delivery time, money-back guarantee, discount, pizza variety, and pizza temperature. The result from this study suggested that there was an opportunity to increase market share and profit by improving operations so that customers receive discount and money-back guarantee simultaneously, and by reducing price, delivery time.

The aim of this study was to detect longitudinal alterations on lumbar vertebral trabecular bone quality (microarchitecture and degree of mineralization) and bone mineral density (BMD) during pregnancy Virginal eighteen mice were used. Then, twelve mice were mated. Mice lumbar vertebrae were scanned before mate, at 7 days of pregnancy (early pregnancy, 6 mice) and immediately after delivery (late pregnancy, 6 mice) by using in-vivo micro-computed tomography Structural parameters, degree of mineralization and BMD were measured. During early pregnancy, there were no significant alterations on structural parameters, degree of mineralization and BMD. At late pregnancy, Tb.Th (11.8%) and BMD (12.7%) were significantly decreased and Tb.N (6.3%), Tb.Pf (43.0%) and BS/BV (15.1%) were significantly increased (p<0.05). Additionally, the lower degree of mineralization was increased, although, the higher degree of mineralization was decreased. These results indicated that the quality and BMD might be not affected during early pregnancy. At late pregnancy, however the bone quality and BMD were likely to be negatively affected.
Purpose : The experiments was undertaken to evaluate the effects of herbal medicine, Ojeoksan, in pregnant rats Methods : Female Sprague-Dawley rats were orally administered with the Ojeoksan at dose of 5mg/kg/day for 20 days. Pregnant rats were sacrificed at 20th day of gestation, and observed internal and reproductive organs. Approximately live fetuses in the 20th day of gestation were randomly selected and fixed in 95% ethanol. Results : Maternal body weight of Ojeoksan treated group has a tendency to increase compared to that of control group. There were no significant difference in internal and reproductive organs. There were no significant changes between two groups in blood chemistry and hematological values. There were no significant changes in number of corpus luteum, implantation, live fetuses and sex ratio. But Ojeoksan administered group showed higher delivery rate, early resorption rate than the control group. Also Ojeoksan administered group showed higher implantation rate, late resorption rate than the control group. Conclusion : From these results, it can be concluded that Ojeoksan showed no toxicity effects on maternal body weight and number of live fetuses. There were no significant changes in organ weight, hematological data, reproductive organs. We need more precise study to investigate the mechanism of early or late resoption by the herbal medicines such as Ojeoksan.
