We have implemented an interactive multimedia education system for C programming. The system consists of two pars. One is multimedia contents to help students better understand C language syntax, programming style, and program logic and the other is a web-based compilation support system that compiles C programs at the server side which are submitted trough Web by students and returns their execution results to the students' PC. Although there are currently some restrictions that students should replace the inputs functions such as scanf(), getc() and getch() with assignment statements or fscanf(fp, , ), since the system has been implemented using general web technologies and shareware C compiler, the education system could be one solution that education institutions seek to reduce annual immense expenditure of money on C complier.

The sign-language can be used as an auxiliary communication means between avatars of different languages in cyberspace. At that time, an intelligent communication method can also be utilized to achieve real-time communication, where intelligently coded data (joint angles for arm gestures and action units for facial emotions) are transmitted instead of real pictures. In this paper, a method of generating the facial gesture CG animation on different avatar models is provided. At first, to edit emotional expressions efficiently, a comic-style facial model having only eyebrows, eyes, nose, and mouth is employed. Then generation of facial emotion animation with the parameters is also investigated. Experimental results show a possibility that the method could be used for the intelligent avatar communications between Korean and Japanese.

The study is designed to understand on the farmer's life in Yanbian, China. The major findings are: 1) The people in farmhouse use wood as a fuel for cooking and the method of cooking is traditional style using their iron pots. The floor heating of the house and cooking food can be carried out simultaneously. Most of the farmer use pump system. 2) Korean traditional foods should be inherited and they usually eat rice. Kimchi, Soy-sauce, and Hot-pepper paste are mostly made at home. 3) Housewives do actively participate in income management. Results indicated that overall Korean immigrants in China maintain their ethnic identity, ethnic language and culture.

The study, "a semiotic analysis on 1930′s costume", is based on semiotic theory which analyze the meaning of signs. In the novels, "흙" and "삼대", character′s costume were used as a visual language that implies massages of character′s status, class, and the view of value. Analyzing the meaning of clothing signs, clothing could deliver the people′s informations to others and could be first things when people accept new value. The object of the studies are the novels, Hulk(흙) and Samdae(삼대) which are written by lee, Kwang-Soo and Yeom, Sang-Seob. In the novels, the social structure is classed as modern and traditional after we accept the western cultures and institutions. The traditional clothing, Han Bok, were dressed by the conservative woman. However, we could find the modernized woman dress with the western dress and the modified traditional style. According to the result of the research, we could find that clothing could be a sign which indicates value and also clothing is one of the first thing to change when people acquired new value.

In most biological laboratory, sequences from sequence machine are stored into file disks as simple files. It will be hard work to store and manage the sequence data with consistency and integrity such as storing redundant files. It is required needed to develop a system which integrated and managed genome data with consistency and integrity for accurate sequence analysis. There fore, in this paper, we not only store gene and protein sequence data through sequencing but also manage them. We also make a integrate schema for transforming the file formats and design database system using it. As integrated schema is designed as a BSML, it is possible to apply a style language of XSL. From this, we can transfer among heterogeneous sequence formats.

In a word, Behnischs architecture can be said to be the architecture of humanism based on an interpretation of the human being. The architecture of Behnisch in which it is not space but people that becomes the subject in architecture is newness or novelty, which is proceeding to position itself as one architectural style representing the times. He refrain from the environment that is defensive and oppressive, and destructive and disruptive in composing his architecture and instead is directed towards the continuos, creative and open environment. With such an architectural language, he is pursuing a minimum of the best rather than quantity based on trust and respecting for man and nature as his unchanged theme. That is, he is seeking for the purpose of architecture that does not disregard individuality such as consumers wants and needs. As can be seen from it, his architectural work has aroused freshness and stimulus to the architectural environment that can not be boring, allowed us to look back on the architectural world and triggered our interest. His architecture has the human energy that moves us.

The point of this study consists in analysing influences of the postmodern design in the contemporary architecture. Since the modern architecture, new concept of architectural design has been materialized in the Late-Modern and the High-tech style but the revolutionary changes has been tempted by the postmodern architects who introduced the Rhetorical language in the contemporary architecture. In concrete terms postmodern architecture divided architectural elements from existing function (according to U. Eco, it is the primary function of architecture) and gave another function which is the secondary function or the symbolic function or architecture. And the methods of deviation from the conventional code is exactly the rhetorical expression technique which governed the history of art in Europe (but these technique is more intensively applied in the postmodern architecture) So this study is purposed to analyse the different rhetorical "figyres" regarding the syntax and semantic of the architectural langyage, and particularly to approach to the basic mechanism of the New Design Concept in the Contemporary Archiecture.chiecture.

The original members of the De Stijl group, formed in neutral Holland during the First World War, included the painters Piet Mondrian, Bart van Leck and Theo van Doesburg, and the architects J.J.P. Oud and Jan Wils. The aim of the group was to create a language of form and color applicable to every sphere of modern life. The means of expression selected by the De Stijl artists was rigorously restricted, using only vertical and horizontal lines with the right-angle created where they cross, and for color, black, white and the primaries- red, yellow and blue. Of these simple elements consisted the compositions painted by Mondrian and van Doesburg during the years around the end of the First World War, and the famous red-blue chair made by Gerrit Rietvelt in 1917. They did share a common influence, Cubism, and they both emphasized contemporaneity. Otherwise they were quite different movements, both in theory and practice, except lot one further point of similarity.

Finite element method (FEM) has been widely used as a useful numerical method that can analyze complex engineering problems in electro-magnetics, mechanics, and others. CEMTool, which is similar to MATLAR, is a command style design and analyzing package for scientific and technological algorithm and a matrix based computation language. In this paper, we present new 3D FEM package in CEMTool environment. In contrast to the existing CEMTool 2D FEM package and MATLAB PDE (Partial Differential Equation) Toolbox, our proposed 3D FEM package can deal with complex 3D models, not a cross-section of 3D models. Consequently, with our new 3D FEM toolbox, we can analyze more diverse engineering Problems which the existing CEMTool 2D FEM package or MATLAB PDE Toolbox can not solve.

CEMTool is a command style design and analyzing package for scientific and technological algorithm and a matrix based computation language. In this paper, we present new FEM (Finite Element Method) package in CEMTool environment. In contrast to the existing MATLAB PDE Toolbox, our proposed FEM package can deal with the combination of the reserved words. Also, we can control the mesh in a very effective way With the introduction of new mesh generation algorithm and NDM (Hosted Dissection Method), our FEM package can guarantee the shorter computational time than MATLAB PDE Toolbox. In addition, using the advanced electromagnetics library of CEMTool FEM package, we can analyze the practical problems such as the motor field analysis. Consequently, with our new FEM package, we can overcome some disadvantages of the existing MATLAB PDE Toolbox.
