분산유도무기체계의 지상항법 운용 개념 및 절차 연구 (Operational Concept and Procedure for Land Navigation of Distributed Missile System)

  • A distributed missile system is composed of command control center, radar and launcher which exchange information each other to use wire or wireless network. The distributed missile system is required mobility for operational convenience and survivability. Also missile system requests land navigation system to provide relatively accurate attitude. For reason of these requirements, each subsystem needs land navigation which provides information of position and attitude. This paper represents operational concept for land navigation to consider operational environment and concrete operational procedure to apply the operational concept. In state that there is no operation for land navigation of distributed missile system internally so for, this paper could be helped to establish operational concept and procedure of this kind of system.

Performance Improvement of Low-cost DR/GPS for Land Navigation using Sigma Point Based RHKF Filter

  • This paper describes a DR construction for land navigation and the sigma point based receding horizon Kalman FIR (SPRHKF) filter for DR/GPS hybrid navigation system. A simple DR construction is adopted to improve the performance both of the pure land DR navigation and the DR/GSP hybrid navigation system. In order to overcome the flaws of the EKF, the SPKF is merged with the receding horizon strategy. This filter has several advantages over the EKF, the SPKF, and the RHKF filter. The advantages include the robustness to the system model uncertainty, the initial estimation error, temporary unknown bias, and etc. The computational burden is reduced. Especially, the proposed filter works well even in the case of exiting the unmodeled random walk of the inertial sensors, which can be occurred in the MEMS inertial sensors by temperature variation. Therefore, the SPRHKF filter can provide the navigation information with good quality in the DR/GPS hybrid navigation system for land navigation seamlessly.

NHC/ZUPT의 장착 비정렬 추정 칼만필터 설계 및 성능분석 (Design and Performance Analysis of NHC/ZUPT Kalman Filter with Mounting Misalignment Estimation)

  • NHC means that the velocity of the vehicle in the plane perpendicular to the forward direction is almost zero. The main error source of NHC is the mounting misalignment which is the difference between the body frame of a land vehicle and the sensor frame of an inertial measurement unit. This paper suggests new NHC algorithm that can reduce position errors by real-time estimation of mounting misalignment. Then NHC/ZUPT integrated land navigation system is designed and its performances are analyzed by simulations with van test data. Simulation results show that the proposed NHC/ZUPT land navigation system improves navigation accuracy regardless of misalignment angle and is very useful when SDINS operates stand-alone for land vehicle navigation with large mounting misalignment.

  • 관성항법시스템 (INS; inertial navigation system)은 센서 오차에 의해 유발되는 항법오차 보정을 위해 보정시스템이나 보정센서를 사용한다. 위성항법시스템 (GNSS; global navigation satellite system), 속도계 (VMS; velocity measurement sensor), 레이더는 INS를 보정하기 위해 일반적으로 사용되는 장치이다. 터널을 지나거나 전파 방해를 받아 GNSS를 사용할 수 없는 환경에서 지상항법시스템 (LNS; land navigation system)이 주로 사용하는 보정센서는 속도계이다. 속도계는 진행방향의 속도성분만 존재하고 횡축 및 종축 속도성분이 없기 때문에 속도계 보정항법을 수행 할 때 직진 주행이 요구된다. 국내는 고속도로라도 원활히 속도계 보정항법을 할 수 있는 구간이 드문데, 이는 국토 형상 및 도로 건설 조건이 속도계 보정에 필요한 직진성 유지에 적합하지 않기 때문이다. 본 논문은 직진성이 보장되지 않는 환경에서 LNS의 속도계를 사용한 보정항법을 수행할 때, 측정치의 필터 갱신 조건을 두어 성능을 개선하는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 또한 차량탑재 시험결과를 제시하여 알고리즘의 성능을 입증하였다.

  • There are many problems which takes long time and lots of work to monitor land subsidence by traditional method. These problems can be solved by GPS. Combining with the field example, this paper studies the application of GPS to monitoring land subsidence, analyses the advantages and errors of GPS survey method, and puts forth the suitable conditions of monitoring land subsidence by GPS.

  • The DGPS is used to improve the accuracy of the GPS by determining the positioning error data known locatio and subsequently transmitting the determined error, or corrective factors, to users of the GPS operating in the same geographical area. The accuracy of the DGPS available to real0time users is published in the Federal Radio-Navigation Plan to be better than 10 meters, although users often experience accuracies of better than 3 meters. USA recently decided to expand the marine DGPS service for land applications and initiated the Nationwide DGPS chain. Korea is processing for improving the marine DGPS. We have not achieved Full Operational Capability. But after announcing FOC, we have to begin expansion of DGPS into land. This paper investigate the availability of marine DGPS in land. The results will provide a basic guide for estimation of a propagation loss of the marine DGPS frequency in land.

  • This paper briefly presents the AIS land infrastructure in Sweden and how it is used as a common resource by multiple users. Some of the applications for the AIS information within the Maritime Administration are presented. It also discuss international co-operation concerning AIS land infrastructure, exchange of AIS information and possible future development. Existing and expected problems with AIS are shown and mitigation measures presented.

GPS를 이용한 축분퇴비의 농지환원 실태조사 (GPS Application in Investigating Land Application of Animal Waste)

  • A portable GPS receiver and a navigation software were used to investigate land application practices of manure composts. The field investigation indicated that most of the land application of manure composts were observed before April. Plowing for incorporation of manure with soil were continued from the middle of April. The results also revealed that over 60% of the farms were within 1 km from livestock farms from which manure composts were transported. Most of the farms having land application were dry field rather than paddies, Some of fields located near livestock farms frequently experience over-application of manure composts. It seems to have been difficult to complete the investigation in this study without the Gps/navigation system. The GPS/navigation system will become an essential tool in field investigations such as ecological/environmental monitoring works that require repeated observation at a number of sites.

The Study of the Position Estimation for an Autonomous Land Vehicle

  • In this paper, we develop and implement a high integrity GNC(Guidance, Navigation, and Control) system, based on the combined use of the Global Positioning System (GPS) and an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), for autonomous land vehicle applications. This paper highlights guidance for the predetermined trajectory and navigation with detection of possible faults during the fusion process in order to enhance the integrity of the navigation loop. The implementation of the GNC system to the autonomous land vehicle presented with fault detection methodology considers high frequency faults from the GPS receiver caused by shadowing and multipath error The implementation, based on a low-cost, strapdown INS aided by standard GPS technology, is described. The results of the field test in the urban environment are presented and showed effectiveness of the GNC system.
