A Study on the Manufacture of Single Axis Tracking Solar Power Generation System for BIPV (BIPV를 위한 단축 구동 태양광 전력 발생장치 제작에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, the energy has been used much more than ever, but there has been many problems including atmospheric pollution. So we need alternative energy resources, which are solar heat, solar light, wind power, small water power, etc. The field, which is most popular these days, is the energy source by solar light which transform electric energy using the solar cell and it is available with many researches. In this paper, we manufactured the solar power generation system over 90W using solar module which was 9.90V for Voc, 0.93 A for Isc, 8.64 V for Vmp, 0.75 A for Imp, 6.5 W for power. System was controlled by step motor with worm gear to operate optimum condition between $0^{\circ}{\sim}70^{\circ}$ angle. This system was very effective in tracking space use because it need less space than general solar module.

  • Since 1998 for protection of marine pollution, all ships must have oil filtering equipment and 15ppm bilge alarms which satisfy Requirements of MARPOL 73/78. Oily-water separator used in machinery area of ships usually consists of two parts; one is filtering equipment and the other is oil content meter(OCM). This study presents optical characteristics of bilge were acquired form oil content sensing module. The oil content sensing module consists of IR-LED light source, photo-diode light receivers, and a glass tube for bilge water sample. The experiment with the bilge water demonstrates various valuable optical properties. These optical properties suggest notes and guides to make the low-cost, easy operation and good performance commercial type OCM that satisfy the requirements of MARPOL 73/78.

  • Value of natural environment and the importance of conservation are augmented gradually, and collision of environment conservation and development are caused in various construction industries. In this study, Presented practical use way to ecological road design using vegetation information and high precision 3-dimensional geo-spatial data for minimizing pollution. Also, analyzed freezing danger of road surface in winter and direct ray of light danger through simulation of completed road and surrounding environment. And presented road design support way through view analysis.

  • The FRP pole had great advantages over other material poles. Light weight, easy installing and transporting were good characteristics. The material's superior properties represented the good durability for sea weather and air pollution, good insulation for electric, and changeable colors. In those properties, usages were like a area affected by sea, downtown, the area among the mountains and a special area for the outstanding views. It was studied that pole manufacturing method, structure analysis of pole by FEM in this study. Filament winding method was selected for a new pole manufacturing method. It produced the tapered poles and mechanically strong properties.

  • Most of people are riding on their own bicycle due to the health and environmental pollution problems. The weight must be light in order to run farther and easier by bicycle. The durability will be reduced due to the light weight of tubes and handles at bicycle. To solve this problem, the three bicycle handle models 1, 2 and 3 were compared with each other for structural analysis. The structural analysis was carried out in this study. Among three models, model 2 and model 3 had the highest and lowest strengths at the structural analysis results, respectively. At this study result, model 1 is thought to be the balanced excellent model with no defect among three models.

  • Coagulation is a process whereby particles collide with one another due to their relative motion, and adhere to form large particles. Coagulation caused by the random Brownian motion of particles is called Brownian coagulation. Many properties, such as light scattering, electrostatic charges, toxicity, as well as physical processes, including diffusion, condensation and thermophoresis depend strongly on their size distribution. Therefore, Brownian coagulation is substantially important in atmospheric science, combustion technology, inhalation toxicology and nuclear safety analysis. (omitted)

  • The automotive industry is currently trying to develop light- weight vehicle for both improvement of fuel efficiency and reduction of environmental pollution. For the reduction of vehicle weight, the substitution of aluminum for steel has been increased. However, the change of material causes a significant problem with respect to the method of joining. In this paper, strength of several aluminum joining methods such as spot welding, metal insert gas(MIG) welding, adhesive bonding was evaluated by performing lap test.

  • In this study, As a plan of essential solution for out-door air pollution, a basic study was carried out to develop a paint with photocatalystic $TiO_{2}$ which can eliminate the $NO_{X}$ from atmosphere. A series of Experiment were carried out according to kind of binder, photocatalyst, light source. Through Experiment of out-door exposure test, the endurance ability and NOx removal efficiency of the specimen were evaluated.
