A Color Temperature and Illuminance Controllable LED Lighting System (색온도와 조도 제어가능한 LED 조명 시스템)

  • This paper presents an LED lighting system with an LED color control algorithm that can independently change its color temperature and illuminance. To show the validity of the proposed algorithm, it is proven that its solution always exists. The proposed algorithm was applied to the control of an LED module that is composed of red, green, blue, and white (RGBW) LEDs. Its color temperature variation ranged from 3,500~7,500[$^{\circ}K$], and its illuminance ranges from 500~1,500[lux]. Within these range, the color temperature and illuminance deviations are as low as $\pm0.8$[%] when the junction temperature of LEDs are maintained at 40[$^{\circ}C$]. In the range of 30~70[$^{\circ}C$], the measured illuminance and color temperature deviations are as low as 2.1[%] and 3.6[%], and the compensated ones are as low as 1[%] and 0.49[%], when the desired illuminance and color temperature are 1,000[lux] and 6,500[$^{\circ}K$], respectively.nyang.ac.kr).

  • In this paper, we propose Bluetooth based on efficient indoor-emotion-lighting control system. The proposed Bluetooth based on indoor-emotion-lighting control system was designed to be automatically controlled by the motion sensor light and using a Bluetooth module may be controlled to light up or mobile PC, wall pad. In addition, It was designed the LED lighting On/Off control the environment according to Humidity, the temperature, illumination, motion sensors. System based on the bluetooth is automatic control possible using the illumination sensor, and by selecting the desired lighting partial control can be designed. The experimental efficiency results of the proposed indoor-emotion-lighting control system were designed to provide an internal environment adapted to a resident, were able to maximize the energy savings, have reduced power consumption than the traditional simple On/Off control system.

  • Music affects sensitivity and emotion of human, emotional power of the music has been applied to various fields. Especially, to visualize as well as listen to music is able to create various atmosphere. In this paper, we proposed sensitivity control system for interaction with people to merge music and lighting. Because existing FT(Fourier Transform) has not information about the time, to analyze information of changed signal according to the time is difficult. In order to solve such a problem, we use STFT(Short Time Fourier Transform) method to analyze music signal. and also, we classified music for three genre and compared the frequency characteristics according to genre, and control the color, brightness of LED light based on the frequency components within analysis range. Unlike existing LED lighting control study using music, we had color control of emotional lighting and brightness control using variation amount of music signal in this paper. Proposed lighting control system will be able to utilize various industry fields as well as emotional lighting.

  • In this paper, we propose the landscape lighting power control system with solar sell generator equipment for energy saving, and also which is included the landscape lighting power transformation device. The power transformation device can check inverse current in the power of the solar cell module and control the power of the battery. And we present the design of landscape lighting power control system. The power control system uses microprocessor with charging system and power transformation device. And also it can control the power of loads under consideration intensity of illumination. The landscape lighting loads are composed of LED(Lighting Emitting Diode) and HID(High Intensity Discharge)lamps. To evaluate property, we installed the solar cell array which generate three kilo watt power. Experimental results show that the proposed system can have stability and energy saving on the mixed configuration of electric loads with DC and AC lamps.

  • This study implemented the LED lighting control system using Zigbee Communication. We designed a desk lamp using LEDs. The PWM signals control LEDs using LED drivers. A desk lamp received PWM signals using Zigbee protocol to control LED Color, Color temperature and brightness. Zigbee protocol that have such several advantages to existent Home network system can upgrade more interface dimension.

  • The ZigBee communication method, which is the most frequently applied to the LED lighting control system, has drawbacks of low-speed and low-capacity, and the communication failure possibility due to environmental influences is on the rise. Therefore, it is important to secure the communication reliability by applying an integrated interface with a wire-wireless dual-network. This paper developed a communication module, which has a platform converging and combining the ZigBee of USN environments with the PLC of power line communication environments, to implement a dualized communication interface system supporting the wire-wireless integrated protocol, and implemented a wire-wireless networking device and a control system software technology. As a result, it was automatically switched into the PLC communication within 4.4 seconds on average when there was an access failure in the ZigBee communication network, so a reliable communication network was built.

  • Despite the government's various safety measures, the number of safety accidents continues to rise and the interior is more likely to occur indoors than outdoors. Safety accidents involving young children account for more than 70 % of the safety accidents in the safety accidents, and the ratio of safety accidents in the classroom or classroom is more than 50 %. In this thesis the author proposes the system managing the accidents notification service using LED lighting and access entry control. Utilizing IoT technology, remote control or access can be controlled remotely by controlling multiple lights and entrances from each room and by means of a number of lighting and entrances. By monitoring and analyzing real-time status via server PC and mobile interface, it can control the maximum control and incident prevention, automatic control, and automatic control.

  • The machine vision technology has been widely used in the industrialized nations like the United States, Japan, and EU in the various industries from the late 1980s. Machine vision inspection system mainly consists of a camera, optics, illumination and an image acquisition system. Optimization of the illumination light source is very important. This paper shows a comparison between Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control and strobe control in driving LED lighting system for machine vision. PWM control method has problems such as a temperature rising of LED and a flickering in image measurement for inspection. In contrast, the proposed strobe control method can suppress the temperature of LED light source below 40℃. Also, it can remove the flickering problem through a synchronization between a frame grabber and a camera shutter. Finally, the strobe control method was shown to extract clearer images with a high precision compared to PWM control method.

  • This paper is to introduce a lighting source controller using high brightness LED to create a clear and reliable condition for an accurate measurement and testing, which is a core technology in clinical image system and mechanical automation system. This controller is designed to supply a stable power in a constant-current system by installing a high brightness LED driver, and to improve the reproducibility of brightness by using 32-bit ARM processor core, dividing brightness quantity into 256 levels, making the remote control and the external interface possible, and preventing and digitizing the brightness inaccuracy caused by errors of resistance values. This controller enables the lighting range to be wide and possible in a low lighting level compared to analog, adds the RS-485 communication function, and makes it for the users to control the on-off function and the dimming level by receiving date from an external device.

  • The study uses department of the sensitivity and fuzzy reasoning, one of artificial intelligence algorithms, so that develop LED lighting system based on fuzzy reasoning for systematical control of the LED color temperature. In the area of sensitivity engineering, by considering the relation between color and emotion expressed as an adjective word, the corresponding sensitivity word can be determined, By taking into consideration the relation between the brain wave measured from the human brain and the color temperature, the preferred lesson subject can be determined. From the decision of the sensitivity word and the lesson subject, we adjust the color temperature of RGB (Red, Green, Blue) LED. In addition, by using the information of the latitude and the longitude from GPS(Global Positioning System), we can calculate the on-line moving altitude of sun. By using the sensor information of both temperature and humidity, we can calculate the discomfort index. By considering the altitude of sun as well as the value of the discomfort index, the illumination of W(white) LED and the color temperature of RGB LED can be determined. The (LED) sensitivity lighting control system is bulit up by considering the sensitivity word, the lesson subject, the altitude of sun, and the discomfort index The developed sensitivity lighting control system leads to more suitable atmosphere and also the enhancement of the efficiency of lesson subjects as well as business affairs.
