In general, auto parts production assembly line is assembled and produced by automatic mounting by an automated robot. In such a production site, quality problems such as misalignment of parts (doors, trunks, roofs, etc.) to be assembled with the vehicle body or collision between assembly robots and components are often caused. In order to solve such a problem, the quality of parts is manually inspected by using mechanical jig devices outside the automated production line. Automotive inspection technology is the most commonly used field of vision, which includes surface inspection such as mounting hole spacing and defect detection, body panel dents and bends. It is used for guiding, providing location information to the robot controller to adjust the robot's path to improve process productivity and manufacturing flexibility. The most difficult weighing and measuring technology is to calibrate the surface analysis and position and characteristics between parts by storing images of the part to be measured that enters the camera's field of view mounted on the side or top of the part. The problem of the machine vision device applied to the automobile production line is that the lighting conditions inside the factory are severely changed due to various weather changes such as morning-evening, rainy days and sunny days through the exterior window of the assembly production plant. In addition, since the material of the vehicle body parts is a steel sheet, the reflection of light is very severe, which causes a problem in that the quality of the captured image is greatly changed even with a small light change. In this study, the distance between the car body and the door part and the door are acquired by the measuring device combining the laser slit light source and the LED pattern light source. The result is transferred to the joint robot for assembling parts at the optimum position between parts, and the assembly is done at the optimal position by changing the angle and step.
The article presents the results and findings obtained through the assembly of opposing linear Halbach arrays from two magnet layers using large magnetic blocks from permanent NdFeB magnets, especially concerning the distribution of magnetic induction in an air gap. The use of these large blocks has led to a significant expansion of the area of magnetic field with a substantially higher value of magnetic induction in comparison with similar linear Halbach arrays composed of small magnets. The paper also discusses the determined dependences of magnetic induction on the parameters of the x, y, z coordinate system and indicates the possibilities of achieving an even stronger magnetic field in a larger volume of an air gap for application for instance in equipment for magnetic separation of raw materials, in instrument technologies and in other areas.

A tape feeder of a SMD(Surface Mount Device) mounter is a device that sequentially feeds electronic components on a tape reel to the pick-up system of the mounter. As components are getting much smaller, feeding accuracy of a feeder becomes one of the most important factors for successful component pick-up. Therefore, it is critical to keep the feeding accuracy to a specified level in the assembly and production of tape feeders. This paper describes a tape feeder inspection system that was developed to automatically measure and to inspect feeding accuracy using machine vision. It consists of a feeder base, an image acquisition system, and a personal computer. The image acquisition system is composed of CCD cameras with lens, LED illumination systems, and a frame grabber inside the PC. This system loads up to six feeders at a time and inspects them automatically and sequentially. The inspection software was implemented using Visual C++ on Windows with easily usable GUI. Using this system, we can automatically measure and inspect the quality of ail feeders in production process by analyzing the measurement results statistically.
Simple sequence repeats (SSRs) are ubiquitous short tandem duplications found within eukaryotic genomes. Their length variability and abundance throughout the genome has led them to be widely used as molecular markers for crop-breeding programs, facilitating the use of marker-assisted selection as well as estimation of genetic population structure. Here, we report a software application, "SSR-Primer Generator " for SSR discovery, SSR-primer design, and homology-based search of in silico amplicons from a DNA sequence dataset. On submission of multiple FASTA-format DNA sequences, those analyses are batch processed in a Java runtime environment (JRE) platform, in a pipeline, and the resulting data are visualized in HTML tabular format. This application will be a useful tool for reducing the time and costs associated with the development and application of SSR markers.

Viologen has been extensively investigated in the paper because their well-behaved electrochemistry has led to their use in a variety of theses, including the electron acceptor for the electric charge delivery mediation of the devices. It was formed monolayer in QCM by self-assembly method. We could know the adsorbed mass of viologen molecules from the frequency shift. We calculated that the adsorbed mass was about 196 [$ng/cm^2$]. We studied the electron transfer property of viologen by the cyclic voltammetry among the electrochemical process so we changed an anion like 0.1 M $NaClO_4$ and $Na_3PO_4$ electrolyte solution and investigated the interrelationship between scan rate and peak current when scan rates were increased twice.
The goals of enterprises are to use resources efficiently, minimize the costs or reduce unsuitable products with efficient process or production environment and take competitive advantages through efforts such as proper supply of good products, etc. so as to satisfy diversified customers and survive in rough competition. To reduce production costs, it's inevitable to make unsuitable products during the production in manufacturing process. Therefore, this researcher grasped LED assembly process and drew the results of productivity improvement through process analysis so as to improve productivity by process anlaysis.
The study of two-dimensional electron systems with extraordinarily low levels of disorder was, for a long time, the exclusive privilege of the epitaxial thin film research community. However, the successful isolation of graphene by mechanical exfoliation has truly disrupted this field. Furthermore, the assembly of heterostructures consisting of several layers of different 2D materials in arbitrary order by exploiting van der Waals forces has been a game-changer in the field of low-dimensional physics. This technique can be generalized to the large class of strictly 2D materials and offers unprecedented parameters to play with in order to tune electronic and other properties. It has led to a paradigm shift in the field of 2D condensed matter physics with bright prospects. In this review article, we discuss three device fabrication techniques towards high mobility devices: suspended structures, dry transfer, and pick-up transfer methods. We also address state-of-the-art device structures, which are fabricated by the van der Waals pick-up transfer method. Finally, we briefly introduce correlated ground states in the fractional quantum Hall regime.
Automatic FPC punching instrument for the improvement of working condition and cost saving is introduced in this paper. FPC(flexible printed circuit) is used to detect the contact position of K/B and button like a cellular phone. Depending on the quality of the printed ink and position of reference punching point to the FPC, the resistance and current are varied to the malfunctioning values. The size of reference punching point is 2mm and the above. Because the punching operation is done manually, the accuracy of the punching degree is varied with operator's condition. Recently, The punching accuracy has deteriorated severely to the 2mm punching reference hall so that assembly of the K/B has hardly done. To improve this manual punching operation to the FPC, automatic FPC punching system is introduced. Precise mechanical parts like a 5-step stepping motor and ball screw mechanism are designed and tested and low cost PC camera is used for the sake of cost down instead of using high quality vision systems for the FA. 3D Mechanical design tool(Pro/E) is used to manage the exact tolerance circumstances and avoid design failures. Simulation is performed to make the complete vision based punching machine before assembly, and this procedure led to the manufacturing cost saving. As the image processing algorithms, dilation, erosion, and threshold calculation is applied to obtain an exact center position from the FPC print marks. These image processing algorithms made the original images having various noises have clean binary pixels which is easy to calculate the center position of print marks. Moment and Least square method are used to calculate the center position of objects. In this development circumstance, Moment method was superior to the Least square one at the calculation of speed and against noise. Main control panel is programmed by Visual C++ and graphical Active X for the whole management of vision based automatic punching machine. Operating modes like manual, calibration, and automatic mode are added to the main control panel for the compensation of bad FPC print conditions and mechanical tolerance occurring in the case of punch and die reassembly. Test algorithms and programs showed good results to the designed automatic punching system and led to the increase of productivity and huge cost down to law material like FPC by avoiding bad quality.
Objective: The objective of this study is to understand the effect of angle and curvature of push-return switches, which are external factors in the operation environment inside the cars, on the feel of operation and to propose optimum alternatives. Background: Customers' needs for products are changing from functional and performance aspects to customer-led type where customers can reflect on their needs on the products. The operation inside cars is executed by HMI. The push-return switch is utilized as the most intuitive mode of HMI; therefore, this push-return switch, which is widely used, has to be developed by assessing the preference and satisfaction of the customer. Method: The angle and curvatures, which are external factors that affect the feel of operation, are drawn through surveying the preceding research literatures. The stages to construct alternatives in experiments are as follows: (1) the tactile switch is replaced after dismantling the switch assembly to evaluate the internal characteristics proposed by preceding researches, (2) a drawing is prepared by using a design software, is printed using 3D printer, and then it is attached on the switch assembly, and (3) evaluation for satisfaction of operation is carried out by using a driving simulator. Results: Both the angle and curvature that are external factors of switch significantly affect the feel of operation. However, interaction between the two factors is found insignificant. Therefore, an optimum alternative is proposed considering the experimental outcomes. Conclusion: This study evaluates the satisfaction in operation that affects the feel of operation environment inside the cars. Based on the study results, a guideline for switch design in the center fascia is proposed. Application: This study is expected to be used as basic data for designing automotive switches, as well as switches in the industries similar with the operation environments of cars.

We have fabricated semiconductor nanocrystals using phase separation on flexible substrates for future application in QD-LEDs. The phase separation between the CdSe semiconductor nanocrystals and TPD organic underlayer can occur during the solvent drying, and the CdSe may rise towards the surface of the coated films, which is arranged into close packed array called self-assembly process. In this work, the polyethylene naphthalate (PEN) films of $200{\mu}m$ thickness was used as a flexible substrate, which was coated with indium tin oxide(ITO) as a transparent electrode of <$15{\Omega}/cm^2$. A number of solvents such as chloroform, toluene, and hexane was used and their coating properties were investigated using the spin coating process. The dispersion of both QD and TPD was rather poor in toluene and hexane and resulted in rougher surface and some aggregates. Meanwhile, the surface roughness of templates can be a very critical issue in the fabrication of QD-LED devices. Some experiments was performed to reduce the ~4nm surface roughness of the PEN films and It can be decreased to the minimum of ~0.7nm. Also discussed are the optical properties of semiconductor nanocrystals used in this phase separation and possible large area and continuous coating process for future application.
