  • The general public's interest in dementia has increased recently as dementia has become a social issue due to its rapid aging. Several dementia prevention and rehabilitation programs are being carried out at the dementia rehabilitation center and at the old welfare center depending on the number of dementia patients. In this paper, a 3 dimensional finger and motion search of the leap motion is utilized and combined with dementia preventive and cognitive rehabilitation programs at various facilities. We suggest technologies that can provide both fun and effective treatment and rehabilitation content for rehabilitation therapists. A variety of cognitive enhancement content is designed using finger tracking and configured to be recorded in the database for rehabilitation programmes to increase the effectiveness of management.

  • This study is aimed at identifying China's land operating system in the great leap periods. the findings are as follows. For one thing, though the landownership in China was basically performed in public, a portion of private management was allowed. The more this kind of private management allowed, the more the life standard of farmers enhanced. For another thing, the conversion from agricultural cooperatives to people's commune happened swiftly, and the problems according to the conversion arose instantly, which made the operation system changed partially. The last, but not the least, even in the point of the rapid communistic movement, private management was locally accepted in the name of three self and one private management. Besides, as we can recognize from the case study of Daichai village, the operation of a large working group and a small working group was done in political context.

  • Assuming that a given nonlinear function f : $\mathbf{R}{\rightarrow}\mathbf{R}$ has a zero $\alpha$with integer multiplicity $m{\geq}1$ and is sufficiently smooth in a small neighborhood of $\alpha$, we define extended leap-frogging Newton's method. We investigate the order of convergence and the asymptotic error constant of the proposed method as a function of multiplicity m. Numerical experiments for various test functions show a satisfactory agreement with the theory presented in this paper and are throughly verified via Mathematica programming with its high-precision computability.

  • In this study, the robot arm control system was implemented that is operated by human hands, which can be used in environments that are inaccessible to humans. This function has to be sent to the robot's arms after extracting coordinates of human hands. Through mapping and bluetooth communication we use a leap motion sensor with infrared light and Image recognition sensor.

  • This is a study on controlling a drone (DJI Mavic Air) with simple hand gesture using Leap Motion controller. Four component involve are MacBook, Leap Motion controller, Android device, and DJI Mavic Air. All of this component are connected through USB, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi technology. The studies main purpose are to show that by controlling a drone through Leap Motion, drone amateur user can easily learn how to control a drone, and because of longer drone control range can be archived things such as search and rescue mission will be possible.

  • Air-writing recognition is relevant in areas such as natural human-computer interaction, augmented reality, and virtual reality. A trajectory is the most natural way to represent air writing. We analyze the recognition accuracy of words written in air considering five features, namely, writing direction, curvature, trajectory, orthocenter, and ellipsoid, as well as different parameters of a hidden Markov model classifier. Experiments were performed on two representative datasets, whose sample trajectories were collected using a Leap Motion Controller from a fingertip performing air writing. Dataset D1 contains 840 English words from 21 classes, and dataset D2 contains 1600 English words from 40 classes. A genetic algorithm was combined with a hidden Markov model classifier to obtain the best subset of features. Combination ftrajectory, orthocenter, writing direction, curvatureg provided the best feature set, achieving recognition accuracies on datasets D1 and D2 of 98.81% and 83.58%, respectively.

  • Purpose : Although lung ventilation SPECT (LV-SPECT) has a good sensitivity in detection of deep lung lesions, it is difficult to apply the LV-SPECT to patients having breathing problems due to limited examination time. In this study, we evaluated the usefulness of LEAP collimator, which provides high detection sensitivity and tolerable resolution, for the LV-SPECT in terms of diagnostic accuracy and examination time. Materials and Methods : Four volunteers inhaled Technegas (370 MBq) and the lung ventilation planar scan (LVPS, 300 counts/view (cpv)) with LEHR collimator was performed using Siemens E.cam scanner as a reference test. LV-SPECT scans were performed with three collimators, LEHR, LEUHR, and LEAP, in low (7 kcpv) and high (70 kcpv) counting modes. The count ratios of left (LT) and right (RT) lung segments were calculated on the geometric mean view of anterior and posterior images for LVPS and on the summed coronal images of LV-SPECT, respectively. Comparing to LVPS, the usefulness of three different collimators for LV-SPECT was evaluated through statistical analysis (paired t-test), on count ratios of lung segments. Results : The average LT:RT ratio in LVPS was 47:53. For LV-SPECT, there were negligible difference of the LT:RT ratios (48:52 on average) among three different collimators in low and high counting modes. Comparing to standard LVPS with LEHR, all LV-SPECTs with different collimators resulted in similar diagnostic accuracy through paired t-test (p>0.05). The scan time in LVPS (6 views) was 17.3 min. For LV-SPECT (128 views) in low counting mode, it took 18.7 (LEUHR), 15.0 (LEHR), and 12.3 min (LEAP), respectively. Conclusion : Comparing to standard LVPS, the LV-SPECT with LEAP in low counting mode provided the comparable diagnostic accuracy in addition to shortened scan time.

  • The sources of greenhouse gases (GHG) at Hanyang University Ansan campus, including direct sources, indirect sources, and others, were investigated in order to establish the GHG inventory. Emission of GHG was calculated with the energy use from each source from 2007 and 2009. The indirect emission (56.7%) due to the electricity significantly contributed to total GHG emission. The scenario for the GHG reduction was designed for both campus administration and members. The reduction potential of GHG was simulated from 2007 to 2020 using Long-range Energy Alternatives Planning (LEAP) model. In case of GHG reduction scenario by campus administration, the GHG can be reduced by 63.34 ton $CO_{2eq}/yr$ for stationary combustion in the direct source, by 221.1 ton $CO_{2eq}/yr$ for mobile combustion in the direct source, and by 4,637.34 ton $CO_{2eq}/yr$ for lighting in the indirect source, compared to 2020 Business As Usual (BAU). In case of GHG reduction action scenario by campus members, the reduction potential of GHG was 1293.76 ton $CO_{2eq}/yr$. Overall, the total GHG emissions in 2020 by the both scenarios can be decreased by 24% compared to 2020 BAU.
