Purpose: This study aims to analyze the effect of nepotism on work engagement. In addition, this study aims to analyze the mediating effect of leader legitimacy in the relationship between nepotism and work engagement in the distribution industry. Research design, data and methodology: 236 survey data were collected and analyzed using SPSS 22 and AMOS 22. For the assessment of the goodness of fit of the models, indexes such as TLI, CFI, RMSEA were used. For hypotheses testing, we used SEM method and bootstrapping. Results: The results of this study are as follows. First, the relationship between nepotism and the employee's work engagement was not significant. Second, it was revealed that nepotism negatively affects the leader's legitimacy. Third, it was found that a leader's legitimacy had a positive effect on the employees' work engagement. Fourth, leader legitimacy was found to mediate the relationship between nepotism and employees' work engagement. Conclusion: We found that the effect of nepotism can be changed depending on contingent factors. This study contributed to the accumulation of nepotism theory by demonstrating the process in which nepotism, which has been insufficient so far, affects outcome variables. Based on the empirical results of this study, theoretical and practical implications, limitations, and future research directions were discussed.
The purpose of this study was to set related variables for leadership measurement in the leader of a community organization as an effort to Community development constantly. Therefore, in this study, first, various theories on leadership were reviewed. Second, approaches and variable relationships were reviewed by leadership theory study. Third, leadership measurement variables were set based on Bass's Transformational theory, one of new trend theory, to measure the leadership of the community organization leader. As a follow up, clear and scientific analysis, through empirical analysis, based on the variables set in this study will be made to measure leadership of a community organization after creating investigation tools based on the variables set in this study A literature study was mainly used. 'Human Behavior' by Dr Han-geom Lee, 'Leadership Theory' by Eung-seop Shin, many other related books, articles of the Human Relation Organization Association, and theses and Bass's writings. Major findings of this study, through the literature study, were as follows. As conventional leadership theories, characteristics theory, behavior theory and situational leadership theory were proposed. First, characteristics theory searches the characteristics of an effective leader. It proposes that effective leaders and ineffective leaders have different characteristics, respectively. Therefore, it proposes to study the leader's characteristics. However, there is not a flexed definition for leader's characteristics. Scholars make different definition on leader's characteristics, and they are very subjective. Thus it cannot be a valid theory. Second, behavior theory describes how the leader behaves to his fellows. It studies leader's behavior focusing on what type and what combination is the most effective in all situations. However, it has weakness in that it focuses on a leader's behavior only, and ignores the situational features. Third, situational theory describes the relationship between leadership type and situation. It suggests that there is not a single leadership style that can suit all situations. It emphasizes the relationship between leadership type and situation. Although situational theory considers more variables than characteristics theory or behavior theory, it also sees situations as static and flxed. Although Fiedler's theory tried to comply with situations, he did not analyze interactions between a leader and his fellows.
Almost all research on emotional labor has focused on how services workers use emotional labor. However, this study examined that leaders' emotional labor influence follower's outcomes. Especially, this study tested how the leader emotional labor influence followers' work engagement and mediating role of PsyCap between leader emotional labor and followers' work engagement. In addition, this study investigated the quality of LMX as moderator the relationship between leader emotional labor and followers' work engagement. The SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0 was used in this study. The results collected from 469 employees in domestic large Telecom and their related companies revealed that leader emotional labor positively influence followers' work engagement and PsyCap. Especially, leader deep acting and surface acting positively influence followers' work engagement, but not display of genuine emotion, and leader deep acting only positively influence followers' PsyCap. Furthermore, followers' PsyCap partially mediated the relationship between leader emotional labor and followers' work engagement. Finally, the quality of LMX as moderator in link between leader emotional labor and followers' work engagement showed when followers in high-quality LMX. Implication and suggestion for future study are discussed.

According to shift of the political focus from agricultural productivity to social development, it has been increased importance of local leader in rural society. Especially rural women leader's role has been increased not only in agricultural business but also in social activity of locality. Although a lot of leadership study related to rural community development, it has been very scarcely study about leader's action in pattern or doing in style based on psychological scale. Therefore this a kind of pilot study on that. For this data, it was gathered from 24 female farmer leaders of a federation group in 2005. In this study, to define the action in pattern or doing in style of leader, it was adopted to Ozasz Yoshihisa's scale which is consisted of 40 items into 8 types. From analysis of female farmer leader's action in pattern or doing in style, most of them were belong to volunteer type, generalist type, farmer type. This menas most of them were head toward maintenance of the present status, keeping one's balance, adaptation oneself to new environment, or acceptance the logic of events, not trying to innovate. But it was not clear that any variable has a relation in the action in pattern or the doing in style, for definition of variables, it should be more detailed study.

This study investigated the impact of leader's coaching on job satisfaction and job involvement. In particular, this study examined employees' self-efficacy as a mediator in the relationship between leader's coaching and job satisfaction and job involvement. On the basis of theoretical linkages between the constructs, a conceptual model and hypotheses were established. Empirical data were collected by using a set of questionnaires. This survey was administered to employees working in 20 firms. 269 samples were used for the analysis. This study conducted a exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis for the validity test, structural equation modeling(SEM) was employed to test the hypothesized relationships in the conceptual model. This study shows that the proposed model is reasonably fit to the actual data. From these analyses, the following results were obtained. First, leader's coaching is positively related to employees' self-efficacy. Second, leader's coaching is positively related to job satisfaction and job involvement. Third, employees' self-efficacy has partially mediated effects on the relationship between leader's coaching and job satisfaction and job involvement.
The purpose of current research is to develop insight regarding the relationship between trust in leader and followers' goal orientation. In this study relationships among trust in leader, self-efficacy, and goal orientation are explored. Hypotheses about how the trust in leader affect self-efficacy and goal orientation are developed. The sample consists of 389 workers in a firm who are chosen through the judgement sampling method. Findings are reported from the empirical research that partially support the hypothesized relationships among trust in leader, self-efficacy, and goal orientation. Trust in leader have a significant impact on goal orientation, and it is moderated by self-efficacy. The results suggest that leaders need to make an effort for trust building to have positive goal orientations. The findings of this study have theoretical and managerial implications for leadership, trust, and goal orientation research.
This paper investigates the relationships between leader-member exchange(LMX), perceived team efficacy, and organizational citizenship behavior(OCBI, OCBO) in the Korea Post. Also the study investigates the moderator effect of leader integrity and the mediator effect of perceived team efficacy in the relationships between LMX and OCB(OCBI, OCBO). The multiple regression analysis were employed to test the hypotheses. The main finding of this study was as follows: First, LMX had a positive effect on the perceived team efficacy. Second, the perceived team efficacy had a positive impact on OCB(OCBI, OCBO). Third, the perceived team efficacy completely mediated effect on the relationship between LMX and OCBI. Also the perceived team efficacy partially mediated effect on the relationship between LMX and OCBO. Fourth, the positive relationships between LMX and OCB(OCBI, OCBO) were stronger when leader integrity was high rather than low. In particular, this review concludes with implications for future research, limitations of this study, and practical application.

This paper describes a monocular vision-based formation flight technology using two fixed wing unmanned aerial vehicles. To measuring relative position and attitude of a leader aircraft, a monocular camera installed in the front of the follower aircraft captures an image of the leader, and position and attitude are measured from the image using the KLT feature point tracker and POSIT algorithm. To verify the feasibility of this vision processing algorithm, a field test was performed using two light sports aircraft, and our experimental results show that the proposed monocular vision-based measurement algorithm is feasible. Performance verification for the proposed formation flight technology was carried out using the X-Plane flight simulator. The formation flight simulation system consists of two PCs playing the role of leader and follower. When the leader flies by the command of user, the follower aircraft tracks the leader by designed guidance and a PI control law, and all the information about leader was measured using monocular vision. This simulation shows that guidance using relative attitude information tracks the leader aircraft better than not using attitude information. This simulation shows absolute average errors for the relative position as follows: X-axis: 2.88 m, Y-axis: 2.09 m, and Z-axis: 0.44 m.
