  • The passive microwave remote sensing has progressed considerably in recent years. Important earth surface parameters are detected and monitored by airborne and space born radiometers. However the spatial resolution of real aperture measurements is constrained by the antenna aperture size available on orbiting platforms and on the ground. The inverse problem technique is researched in order to improve the spatial resolution of microwave scanning radiometer. We solve a two-dimensional (surface) temperature-imaging problem with a major intention to develop high-resolution methods. In this paper, the scenario for estimation of both radiometer point spread function (PSF) and target configuration is explained. The PSF of the radiometer is assumed to be unknown and estimated from the observations. The configuration and brightness temperature of targets are also estimated. To do this, we deal with the parametric modeling of observation scenario. The performance of developed algorithms is illustrated on two-dimensional experimental data obtained by the water vapor radiometer.

  • This is a study on the ways of improving the current Kwangju Kimch Festival. The Festival has many resources for attracting visitors. 'nevertheless. it has been criticized for marketing tools. including lack of publicity, institutional inertia. etc. A new approach for improving Kwangju Kimch Festival is needed to satisfy the needs not only for residents but also for visitors. especially japan tourists. the best way of improving the current Kwangju Kimch Festival might be the development of the product(for exemple, effective linkage system with tourist attractions) and promotion(advertising. publicity).

  • To understand and predict destination choice behavior for urban parks, two hypotheses, which are based on extended Fishbein model, were proposed and tested in Kwangju. Data was analyzed by the citizens of Kwangju and by target markets segmented by demographic variables. Analysis by the citizens of Kwangju showed that postulated hypotheses are true. However, they were partially thru in the other cases : it was a general tendency that suggested model applied well in the high-involvement product. Among the demographic variables, sex was the most useful to understand park choice behavior. Park management directions were suggested, and several future research implications were discussed.

  • Cysticercosis is the most common parasitic infection affecting the central nervous system. Spinal neurocysticercosis (NCC) is very rare compared with intracranial NCC arid requires more aggressive management because these lesions are poorly tolerated. The authors report a case of intradural extramedullary cysticercosis of the entire level of spine with review of the literature.
