호남고속철도 연약지반구간의 전단파 속도분석과 탐사법 비교 (S-wave Velocity Analysis and Each Survey Comparison of Soft Ground in HoNam High-Speed Railway)

  • This study area located in HoNam High-Speed railway soft ground section. So it carried out the boring survey, field survey and test of laboratory. It collected the engineering data of ground and the data for the establishment arrangement. The investigation did a soil investigation in Nonsan. The investigation item excuted seismic piezocone penetration test, s-wave seismic refraction survey, ps logging test, density logging test which is a physical exploration and boring. Eventually, results of geotechnical and shear-wave survey are useful for ground information in soft ground that has identified the characteristics of geological responses and elastic modulus.

GIS기반 토사유실모델을 이용한 저수지 사면의 토사유실 영향 분석 (The Influence Analysis for Soil Loss in Reservoir Slant using GIS-based Soil Loss Model)

  • 임동 유역은 지질 및 토지피복 상태가 토사유실에 취약한 특성을 가지고 있어, 강우발생시 토사유입으로 호소내 수질오염에 큰 영향을 주고 있으며, 특히 이러한 호소내 수질문제의 원인으로 저수지 사변의 토사유실 가능성이 제기되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 저수지 사면에서 발생하는 토사유실 기여율을 평가하기 위해 최근 GIS 및 위성영상과의 연계가 가능한 RUSLE 모형을 선정하였으며 사면에서 발생하는 토사유실 정확도에 큰 영향을 주는 사연의 범위와 폭 그리고 사면상태를 DB로 구축하기 위해 현지조사를 실시하였다. 임동유역에 대한 토사유실량과 비교하여 저수지 사면에서 발생하는 토사유실량과의 영향을 분석한 결과 약 2.64%로 나타났다. 따라서 이러한 결과를 볼 때, 임동 유역의 토사유실량에 비해 저수지 사면의 토사유실 영향은 상대적으로 낮은 것으로 평가되었다.

괴산군 일대의 식생 및 식생기반에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Vegetation and Vegetation Base around the Goesan Gun)

  • The purpose of this study is to grasp what characterizes the vegetation base of the natural forest as a latent vegetation in the middle region of Korea and thus to offer basic data when improving the vegetation base in the middle region being built or to be built in the future. The findings of this soil section survey show the following: The soil is brown to red color soil group on the whole. In addition, the soil's physical features like soil hardness are rated as high level, which results from the fact that the forest soil exits in its natural form under less influence of stamping. The pH of soil shows a weak acidity, like Korean normal soil. Specific electrical conductance is also rated as middle to high level in accordance with the standards of landscape architecture. The Salix koreensis community and the Pinus rigida community are different from other communities in terms of total nitrogen, available phosphate and exchangeable $K^+$ content. Specifically, the two communities are opposed to each other in terms of total nitrogen and available phosphate, while being similar to each other in terms of available phosphate and exchangeable $K^+$ content. This seems to result from the fact that they are located near each other. In addition, the two communities are characterized by the fact that they are distributed at the altitude mean relatively lowest and in the valley. To sum up, the forest soil around Goesan Gun is of middle level on the whole according to the landscape standards, when judging it in terms of vegetation base. Accordingly, it seems that the construction of the vegetation base around Goesan Gun will not require large investment expenses for soil improvement. Also, it seems that the spatial scope of research is needed to expand the basic data on the construction of the vegetation base for the whole middle region of Korea.

수질오염총량관리 단위유역내 토양 양분 및 수질오염 부하량 상관관계 비교 (Correlation between Soil Nutrient Contents and Water Pollutant Loads in Hydrologic Unit Watersheds: Implication on the Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs))

  • For this study the 4 sub-watersheds Okdong A, Hankang B, Jecheon A and Hankang C which are the main streams of the Han River within the mid-level region of Chungju Dam are selected and the analysis of soils has been carried out through the soil basic survey. When it comes to the soil erosion amount the soil nutrient load has been calculated by utilizing the RUSLE erosion equation. In case of the data related to the measurement of water flow and quality the information available from the "Water Information System" one of the websites run by the Ministry of Environment has been used to calculate the water pollution load. The correlation between the soil nutrient load and the water pollutant load has been analyzed through making comparison. According to the results related to the soil nutrient load of each sub-watershed the Hankang C shows the highest values TOC 29,986.92 ton/yr, TN 3,860.33 ton/yr and TP 973.97 ton/yr respectively. Even when it comes to the loads related to water quality the Hankang C shows also comparatively high values TOC 6,625.64 ton/yr, TN 7,335.01 ton/yrand TP 145.49 ton/yr respectively. The soil nutrient loads of the sub-watersheds are shown to increase towards the lower stream meaning the load increases in the order of Hankang CHankang B and Okdong A. When it comes to the water pollutant load the value goes up along down the water system meaning the load gets higher in the order of Hankang C, Hankang B and Okdong A while utilizing the mainstream within the mid-level region of Chungju Dam as the basis. The correlation study showed that the nutrient content of soil is proportional to the pollutant load in water with the strongest positive correlation with TOC.

베트남 북부 네안 희토류 산출지의 지구화학탐사 (Geochemical exploration for REE occurrence in Nghe An Area within Northern Vietnam)

  • 베트남 북부 네안(Nghe An)성 뀌 차우(Quy Chau)에서 남동쪽으로 약 14 km 떨어진 쵸 빈(Chau Binh) 일대를 대상으로 1차 토양지구화학탐사를 수행하였다. 시료채취 간격은 가로 300 m 간격으로 14 line, 세로 500 m 간격으로 15 line이었으며 토양시료 194개를 채취하였다. 그리고, 1차 토양지구화학탐사 결과를 바탕으로 총희토류(TREO) 함량이 높은 격자점을 대상으로 2차 정밀 피트탐사를 수행하여 총 7개 피트에서 토양 56개를 채취하였다. 조사지역의 지질은 반 찌응(Ban Chieng) 흑운모 화강암 복합체와 다이 록(Dai Loc) 편마암질 화강암 복합체가 편암, 편마암, 석회암으로 구성된 부캉(Bukang)층을 관입하고 있다. 본 역의 주요 광화작용은 주석, 루비, 그리고 화강암 복합체의 주변부 변질대(albitization)에 분포하고 있는 것으로 사료되는 함희토류 모나자이트(약 300 g/t)와 제노타임(약 10 g/t)의 산출이 특징적이다. 중사시료에서 확인한 모나자이트와 제노타임의 근원암을 규명하기 위해 토양지구화학탐사를 수행하였다. 1차 토양지구화학탐사에서 채취한 토양시료에 대하여 희토류원소(La, Ce, Nd, Y 등) 및 미량원소(Th, Sr, Ba, Nb 등)의 화학성분을 ICP-MS를 이용하여 분석한 결과, 배경토양의 총희토류 함량이 지각 평균의 약 2배를 초과하고 있으며, 중희토류(약 2배)와 경희토류(약 1.84배)가 모두 부화되어 있다. 2차 정밀 피트탐사에서 채취한 토양시료에 대하여 희토류원소(La, Ce, Nd, Y 등)의 화학성분을 ICP-MS를 이용하여 분석한 결과, 격자점 4-7번 피트에서 광체로 추정되는 노두를 인지하였고 본 광체는 N40W 방향으로 발달되어 있다. 1차 토양지구화학탐사 및 2차 정밀 피트탐사를 종합적으로 고찰한 결과, 네안성 뀌차우 일대에서는 토양에서 이상대를 보이며 광체의 연장방향으로 추정되는 희토류 부존 유망 지역을 잠정적으로 선정하였으며, 향후 광체로 추정되는 구간에 대하여 지구물리탐사 및 시험시추를 수행할 예정이다.

Wollastonite을 중심(中心)으로 한 규산질비료광물자원(珪酸質肥料鑛物資源)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (The Study on the Wollastonite Mineral Resources for Silicious Fertilizer)

  • Through the series of study on the above subjects, the following were founded. 1. Soluble silica in paddy top-soil (xppm) and maxium possible yield (y) is expressed as following equatic $y=63.97+0.425x-0.00114x^2$ It is known that soluble silica in paddy top-soil in South Korea is limited as 130ppm. 2. Gnder the present Korean condition 90% of paddy-top-soil is estimated to be short in available silica content and the country average to only 78ppm. 3. The total area of Korean paddy-top-soil is about 1,036,710 ha. All requirements of wollastonite in South Korea estimated from the equation $Y=0.94-0.033{\times}$are about 2 million M/T 4. Silicates fertilizer minerals are Bentonite, Zeolite, Wollastonite, Serpentine, and Chlorite. But Wollastonite is most economic and can be supplied to using Korea. 5. Wollastonite is formed in contact metomorphic deposits. Limestone is the country rock of wollastonite. Limestone in Korea is in Ryunchcon system, (Pre-cambrian) Okcheon system, (unknown), Great limestone series (paleozoic), Hongjum series (Paleozoic) and Kyungsang system (mesozoic) so that the zones of these limestone and igneous rock are the possible area which wollastonite can be produced. 6. According to the published geologic map (scale 1/5000), about 25 provinces will be possible area which wollastonite can be produced. In future, I believe that many possible area will be increased. 7. According to this survey at Danyang, total wollastonite resources are about 179,000 M/T and average of soluble $SiO_2$ is 29.84%. 8. According to this survey at Daijeon, total resources are about 57,600 M/T and average of soluble $SiO_2$ is 21.53%. 9. Total wollastonite resources including Danyang, Yangduk, and Daijeon are about 1,172,200 M/T. Considering possible resources, it will be over 20 million M/T and I can say that it is possible to be supply for a score.

사후관리단계에 있는 매립지의 건식침적량 및 토양오염에 관한 연구 -난지도 매립지 사례를 중심으로- (A Study on the Atmospheric Dry Deposition Flux and Soil Contamination in a Completed Landfill - A case study on Nanji landfill -)

  • Atmospheric dry deposition flux and ambient particle mass size distribution were measured to evaluate the impact of atmospheric deposition around the Nanjido landfill sites. Wind direction affects greatly on the variation of mass flux and mass size distribution and made two times higher when the wind was blown from the road side. The effect of Nanjido landfill on the mass size distribution was significant comparing to simultaneously measured mass size distribution at the other sampling site. The results showed that the particle diameter bigger than $10{\mu}m$ explained the majority of atmospheric dry deposition flux. A survey was also carried out to investigate the contamination of soils in a completed Nanjido landfill. The chemical properties of the soil analyzed in the present study include pH, oxidation-reduction potential (ORP), anion and cation concentration, total organic carbon(TOC), and some-metal elements concentrations were analyzed. Microbial activity in the soils was also evaluated by measuring dehydrogenase activities. TOC in the soil contaminated with leachate was $467.0{\mu}g/g-dry$ soil, and the TOC in the soil, where Nanjido landfill gases were emitted from, was $675{\mu}g/g-dry$ soil. The highest microbial activity of $968.0{\sim}2147{\mu}g-TPF/g-dry$ soil day was found in the soil spouting Nanjido landfill gases. Compared with those in the uncontaminated soil, the concentrations of Cr, Cu and Ph in the contaminated soil were higher.

  • By use of RS and GIS, the QuickBird image and geographic map were used for the survey of the foreshore resources of Shanghai. The image was processed and interpreted. The distribution maps of sea dike, foreshore, vegetation, soil, hydraulic structures, landscape, topography, and so on were extracted in manual classification. These data have been integrated into the information management system for the shoreline and foreshore. It plays an important role in the evolvement analysis of the shoreline and foreshore.

  • 최근 무분별한 개발로 인한 산림지역의 훼손으로 토양의 침식이 발생하고 이는 강우와 결부되어 하천 오염 및 하천의 바닥고를 상승시켜 통수능을 저하시키는 원인이 되기도 한다. 이를 위해 국내에서는 환경영향평가 및 재해영향평가를 통하여 토사유출의 정량적 분석을 실시하여 적절한 대책을 수립하도록 하고 있다. 토사유출량 산정 시 고려되는 매개변수 중 본 연구에서는 무선조종 헬기 통하여 취득한 영상 정보를 이용하여 절취사면의 사면경사계수(LS) 및 토양피복계수(C)를 영상분석을 이용하여 보다 정확한 값을 산정하였다.

Soil sampling plan design of key facilities for denuclearization based on data quality objective process

  • The possibility of denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula has been continuously debated, and the initiative participation of the Republic of Korea has necessitated preemptive measures against neighboring countries. In this study, we present a proposal for formulating a site survey plan when the amount of site information provided is insufficient and the accuracy of the information is not guaranteed. Considering a case wherein "a soil sample analysis is used to determine the presence or absence of nuclear activity" in a radiochemical laboratory, which is a typical key facility for denuclearization, the optimal soil sample collection plan is designed based on international guidelines and public information. In the event of denuclearization, a scenario that is not based on the expertise of the sample collector is set, and the data quality objective (DQO) process is applied to ensure reality. Consequently, the primary sample collection points can be derived in consideration of accessibility, and the sample collection scale can be adjusted according to the cost. By applying the DQO process to ensure sample representativeness and reality, reliable and resource-efficient soil sample collection can be achieved in radiochemical laboratories and other denuclearization facilities.
