20세기 스웨덴 현대 가구디자인의 특성 - 스웨덴의 대표적인 8인 가구디자이너의 작품을 중심으로 - (Characteristic of Swedish Modern Furniture Design in the 20th Century - In Reference to Works by 8 Prominent Furniture Designers in Sweden -)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify characteristic of Swedish modern furniture design through design works made by 8 prominent Swedish furniture designers during the 20th century. The study was completed through literature reviews and searching for web-sites of Swedish distinguished furniture companies. 8 furniture designers, eg. Erik Gunnar Asprund, Carl Malmsten, Josef Frank, John Kandell, Mats Theselius, Bruno Mathsson, $\AA$ke Axelsson and Yngve Extr$\ddot{o}$m were selected to identify the characteristics of Swedish modern furniture design. The results are as follows: 1) they pursuit simple and functional design beyond time. 2) they pursuit functionalism modified with Swedish traditional craftsmanship. 3) natural wood is considered as the most beloved material for the furniture together with other natural materials such as hemp, leather and cane. 5) easy maintenance and durability of the furniture are considered as important factors to make it last long. 6) ecological concept is fulfilled to meet environmental legislation.

중학교 교실에서 한국 고전문학 읽기 (Reading classical Korean literature in middle school classrooms)

  • The purpose of the study is to describe the phenomena of reading classical Korean literature in middle school classrooms. This is one of a series of fundamental works to seek a desirable direction for classical Korean literature education. The results of the study are as follows. First, it was investigated which classical Korean literature middle school students read. As a result, it was found that the students read the works given mostly in their Korean language textbooks. A modern language is used for classical Korean literature in middle school textbooks. The textbooks have the largest number of tales with four pieces, followed by novels, essays, and sijos, Korean verses. Secondly, it was investigated how middle school students read classical Korean literature. It was found that they read it in class mainly through one-way lecturing by teachers. As a result of conducting a questionnaire survey of students and teachers, it was found that the lessons in classical Korean literature did not fulfill the students' expectations. Thirdly, my own real teaching cases were arranged to be presented, in connection with the matter why students should read classical Korean literature. This matter is embodied with a teacher's short verbal explanation focusing on motivation concerning the object of study.

이찬 시의 낭만성과 비극성 (The Romance and Tragedy in Lee Chan's Poetry)

  • Lee Chan's early poems were defined as the world of romance. His second-term poems were defined as proletarian poetry and poems written in prison when he made the romance as the core point through longing and desire for lost world. Maximizing the romance was proletarian poetry. His third-term poems were feelings of the northern countries called the spirit of Lee Chan's poems. He recognized the emotion of diaspora as the tragedy in these poems. It was remarkable time that the poet's tragedy observing and expressing the reality of colony. Afterward he wrote poems related inside withdrawal and war cooperation, finally he wrote poem after defecting to North Korea. Lee Chan showed the romance of desire in early poems and proletarian poems. Then he indicated acute scenery of the tragedy in the late 1930s' poems. In heavy situation, he moved from pro-Japanese literature to North Korean literature. However he didn't throw introspected self-reflection language to himself each his changing. But through several form of garden, he clearly showed consistent of maximizing his utopia sense. The time Lee Chan experienced was an icon which intensively indicated several features of deformed modern Korean poetic history. He was a unique poet who expressed various traces of modern Korean poetry in short time step by step. His path informed that he was a special poet who stepped the trace of many modern Korean poetry's extremes such as romantic poetry, proletarian poetry, prison poetry, pro-Japanese poetry and North Korean poetry. Likewise we can call his life as a grudge return. Because he left hometown, experienced the light and darkness of modern times and returned his hometown.

A Study on Royal Ceremonial Hair styles of Chosun Dynasty

  • This study covers the literature of theoretical backgrounds of royal ceremonial hair styles during Chosun Dynasty and demonstrates reproduction works of those hair styles reinterpreted in modern methods. As for the Chosun royal hair styles for ceremonies, there are Daesoo, Gudoomi, and Euyoumi for a royal queen, royal concubines, and royal lady attendants of Nae Myung Boo, department of general affairs of the royal court. These hair styles represents well that Chosun Dynasty kept its own class symbols through hair styles, which is valuable cultural resources of Korean traditional beauties. This study compares the new reproduction works of Daesoo, Gudoomi, and Euyoumi with existing literature pieces and related photos for clear understanding of these traditional hair styles. This study aims to activate the relevant researches into Korean traditonal hair styles, their reproduction methods and applicable usages in Modern Korea as well as useful data for them.

고시조에서 현대시로 이동된 치유의 서정 (Healing Emotion Moved from Gosijo to Modern Poem)

  • 이 연구는 고시조의 정서가 현대시에 어떻게 흘러들어왔는지에 대해 살펴보는 것이다. 그리하여 고시조와 현대시의 간극에 머물고 있는 치유적 장치들을 문학치료에 활용하기 위한 목적을 지니고 있다. 고시조의 극심한 고독과 고요가 현대시로 침습되어 잠이 오지 않는 고독의 밤을 연출하고 있다. 고시조의 감정을 지닌 문장들이 현대시에서는 달라져 있지만, 고시조와 현대시는 같은 감정을 공유하고 있다. 이러한 문학적 장치는 현대인들에게 치유의 정서를 제공해준다. 이러한 연구는 이후의 문학치료의 활성화에 기여하게 될 것으로 사료된다.

현대 패션에 표현된 움직임의 미적 특성에 관한 연구 (Aesthetic Characteristics of 'Movement' Expressed in Modern Fashion)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the aesthetic characteristics of 'movement' expression in modern fashion(1910-2004) based on a study of modern fine arts which adopted 'movement' element in their work. In this study the meaning of movement was defined as motion, changing position and transformation. Literature survey through books and research papers and demonstrative study with fashion collection photos were undertaken. The results wert as follows ; 1) Kinetic art, optical an, light kinetic art and technology art such as video and computer art have adopted 'movement' element in their work. 2) The plasticities of 'movement' fine arts were identified as mutual penetration, increase of visibility, use of non-traditional materials and dynamism. The internal meanings were identified as expansion of aesthetic experience and the concept of fine art, optimistic attitude on technology, spectator participation and integration of art and life. 3) The 'movement' expression in modern fashion was distinctively found in 1910s-20s(avant-garde fashion), 1960s (kinetic and optical art fashion) and mid 1990s to 2004 (techno-cyber fashion). 4) The plasticities of the 'movement' expression in modern fashion were identified as non-definition, use of non-traditional materials, dynamism. The internal meanings were identified as expansion of aesthetic experience and the concept of dress, optimistic attitude on technology, playfulness through participation. In conclusion, the expression of 'movement' in modern fashion has optimistic viewpoint on the development of modern society and is one of the interesting design points which will be pursued in the fellowing years.

도심지 근대건축의 보존과 활용에 관한 연구 (A Study on Preservation and Reuse of Modern Architecture in the City)

  • This study investigated modern architectures adjacent to the road, which can be easily destroyed by economic logic. The purpose of this paper is to find the method to preserve and reuse as townscape. The research methods were used the literature survey and field research of modern architecture in Seoul, and compared with the current status. The result are as followings. Firstly, In order to preserve many architectural cultural properties, the policy related to cultural property should be improved. And, awareness of the individual about cultural property should be changed. Secondly, it has been analyzed that modern architecture can be divided into 3 types in the reuse, which is 'Succession Type', 'Change Type', and 'Extinction Type'. Most of the cases has been used for specific use. Therefore, we should be consider the method of the reuse which can accommodate the various contemporary use. Thirdly, the preservation of the appearance and facade, which is the optimal way to preserve at least the historicity of the city, would be suitable for the preservation of modern architecture adjacent to the road. Lastly, it has been analyzed that the cases can be divided into 2 types in the form of appearance, which is 'Modern Type' and 'Hanok Type'. And, common and individual design guidelines have made.

일본 한국문학사에 나타난 항일문학과 친일문학 기술양상 (A Study on the Aspects of Anti-Japanese and Pro-Japanese Literature Shown in Japanese Korean Literature History)

  • 이 글은 일본에서 저술된 한국문학사 가운데 항일문학, 친일문학 기술 부분에 주목하여, 항일과 친일을 둘러싼 한국과 일본의 인식차를 살펴보고자 한 것이다. 분석 대상 텍스트는, 일본인의 시각에서 집필된 본격적인 한국근현대문학사라는 평가를 받고 있는 사에구사 도시카쓰의 "한국문학을 맛보다"와 시라카와 유타카의 "조선근대문학의 발자취"이며, 여기에 통시적 시좌의 문학사 저술은 없지만, 한국근현대문학 일본인 연구자의 최전선에 자리하는 오무라 마스오의 인식을 시야에 함께 넣어 조망하였다. 주요 검토 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 일본 저술 한국문학사에는 '친일문학'이라는 프레임이 매우 선명하게 자리하고 있는 점을 들 수 있다. 그것은 중국이나 북한의 관점과 확연하게 구분되는 지점이며, 기본적으로 남한문학사의 서술체계에 따르고 있지만 항일문학과 친일문학에 대한 평가 부분에 이르러서는 남한문학사와 분기점을 이루는 지점이기도 하다. 둘째, 기본적으로 한국문학사의 서술체계를 따르고 있지만, 항일문학이나 친일문학에 대한 기존의 한국 학계의 평가에 끊임없이 의문을 제기하며 다른 방식의 읽기를 시도하고 있는 점이 두드러졌다. 예컨대, 한국 학계에서는 김종한, 이석훈 등에 주목하여 그들의 문학을 높이 평가한다든가, 반대로 한국 학계에서는 중요하게 다루어지고 있는 이광수의 친일적 요소는 크게 중시하고 있지 않는 점이 그러하다. 셋째, 탁월한 일본어 실력을 갖춘 작가나 일본어 창작에 후한 점수를 주고 있는 점이다. 그로 인해, 장혁주, 김사량, 이석훈, 김용제 등을 동일한 '일본어 문학'이라는 자장 안에 녹여냄으로써 각기 다른 친일의 내적 논리를 희석시켜 버리는 한계를 노정한다. 넷째, 김종한이나 이석훈에게서 이광수, 장혁주, 김용제 등 노골적인 친일 협력 문인들과는 다른 내면을 읽어내고자 하는 점이다. 이 같은 특징들은 보다 치밀한 분석을 요하는 부분으로 후속 과제로 이어가고자 한다.

한국 근대 인물화에 나타난 응시대상으로서의 여성의 몸과 복식 (The Dressed Female Body as an Object for 'Gaze' in Korean Modern Figure Paintings)

  • This study is designed to examine how the female body, as shown in Korean modern figure paintings, is expressed as an object for one's gaze and the meaning behind it. The study analyzed the entries displayed during the Joseon Arts Exhibitions from 1922 to 1944, for a total of 23 times. The exhibition entries are considered to be the representative sources in regards to the history of Korean modern arts. This study examined the artistic works, which portrayed the female body as an object for gaze. Literature research was conducted to look into the general background of modern society in Korea and the significance of the body as an object for gaze, and empirical study was also performed to analyze the female body in modern figure paintings. This research reveals how the bodies of modern Korean women were seen under the structure of power. It is believed that the process of criticizing and complementing the bodies of Korean women, which was distorted by Japan, may lead to an objective analysis of the aesthetic consciousness of the Korean female bodies.

설하멱적을 통해서 본 쇠고기 구이 조리법 변화에 대한 역사적 고찰 I - 1950년대 이전의 문헌을 중심으로 - (A Historical Study on Changes in a Roasted Beef Recipe through Sulhamyukjuk (Part I) - Focus on literature published in Korea until 1950 -)

  • The aim of this research was to analyze changes in a Roasted Beef recipe through Sulhamyukjuk. In order to conduct this study, we investigated ancient and modern culinary literature published until 1950. The main method of research in this study was content analysis. There were 15 pieces of ancient and modern culinary literature used. In addition, the roasted beef recipes totaled 78. Analysis of recipe data published over the last 300 years showed two different types of Roasted Beef recipes: 1) Roasted Skewered Beef and 2) General Roasted Beef. In the case of Roasted type, the method was divided into three steps: 1) Coating of flour porridge after marinade in the source, 2) Three dippings into cold water during Roasting, and 3) Roasting again with Seasoning.
