본 연구의 목적은 학교도서관진흥기본계획과 도서관발전종합계획의 연계성을 분석하고, 주요 연계점으로 학교도서관이 교육공동체에 협력할 수 있는 방안을 도출하는 것이다. 연구결과 기본계획과 종합계획 사이에서 18개의 연계점을 발견할 수 있었다. 연계점에서는 관종별 도서관이 교육공동체에 협력해야 하며, 학교도서관이 통로 역할을 해야 한다는 내용을 강조하고 있었다. 학교도서관의 교육공동체 협력 방안으로 관종별 도서관 전문성 강화, 학교도서관 교육과정 설정을 제시하였다.

이 연구에서는 우선 우리나라 정신보건의 현실을 살펴본다. 이어서 그것의 배경이 되는 마음의 상처와 장애문제를 논의한다. 그 다음은 이와같은 현실과 문제에 대한 하나의 대처방안으로서 독서치료에 대해 알아본다. 끝으로 독서치료를 매개로 한 공공도서관의 개입과 관련하여 몇 가지 시사점을 제시한다.

이 연구는 $\ulcorner$도서관법$\lrcorner$ 개정에 따른 정책 환경의 변화를 공공도서관의 현주소와 연계 분석한 다음에 공통의 현안과 과제를 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 도서관발전종합계획의 수정 보완, 도서관 행정체계의 정비, 지방 도서관 정보정책시스템의 제도화, 직무분석과 사서직제의 개선, 인프라 확충과 각종 기준의 개정, 경영평가 및 통계시스템의 표준화, 도서관 유관기관과의 연계성 강화를 정책적 과제로 설정하고 추진방향과 개선안을 제시하였다.

This paper is intended as a basic study in which the purpose is to provide understanding of the workings of man in relation to his information resources. Such understanding would prove of value in formulating the policies of an inoformation center serving the fields of science and technology. The information problem of the scientific community was assessed in the lights of the characteristics of the information (cumulativeness, currency versus obsolescence, volume versus redundancy, interrelationships, and foreign literature)and the flow of information and communication patterns covering the use of the variety of media and the information gathering habits of scientists. What can be done to ease the problem was sought in the improvements and innovations which call the attentions of the scientists and the technologists as producers and users of the information, of the professional organizations of various disciplines and of government.

This study investigates the national library functions through a study on the theories of their generally accepted functions and based on the results, suggests an idea for the improvements of the functions of the National Library of Korea, the national library of Korea. This study categorizes 22 major functions identified through the analysis on the theories into 4 categories as follows: 1. Functions related to collect and conserve the central collections 2. Functions related to bibliographic control 3. Functions related to the representative role of the nation's libraries, nationally and internationally 4. Functions related to centralized technical and reader services And based on the analysis of the operations of the National Library of Korea. And it is desirable to validate and decide the priority among the functions based on the systematic and through analysis on the operations of the Library and other related libraries.

우리나라 도서관은 후진성을 면하지 못하고 있다. 도서관 이용자들의 의식도 전근대성을 벗어나지 못하고 있다. 이러한 가운데 도서관계에 불어닥친 구조조정 바람과 타 직종과의 무한경쟁 상황은 우리나라 도서관 현장을 위기로 몰아 넣고 있다. 현장의 위기는 학문의 위기로 돌아오고 있다. 이에 우리 학문과 현장에 불어닥친 위기는 어떠한 것이고, 그 동안 우리 학문은 무엇이 문제였는지를 살펴보고 있다. 이를 바탕으로 학문과 현장이 이 땅에 굳건히 뿌리내릴 수 있는 방안을 제시하고 있다.

본 연구는 문헌정보학 전공 학생들의 현장실습에서 경험하고 학습하는 여러 구성요인 중 실습만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 학제별로 분석하고 그 영향관계를 고찰하여, 문헌정보학 전공 현장실습의 바람직한 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 도서관 및 정보서비스 제공기관 현장실습을 경험한 전국 2년제 문헌정보과 2학년 90여 명 및 4년제 문헌정보학과 4학년 80여 명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시한 결과, 2년제와 4년제 학제 전부 실습만족도 구성항목 중에서 실습지도자에 대한 만족도가 가장 높았고, 실습사전준비에 대한 만족도가 가장 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 다중회귀분석을 사용하여 학제별 현장실습 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 조사한 결과, 2년제 학생의 현장실습만족도에 영향을 미치는 주요인은 '전공만족도'와 '대인관계' 요인이었으며, 4년제 학생은 '전공만족도', '개인실습 경험' 요인이 현장실습만족도에 유의한 영향을 끼치는 요인으로 분석되었다. 결론적으로 문헌정보학 대학생의 현장실습만족도를 높이기 위해서는 전공만족도, 대인관계, 개인실습 경험 등의 영향요인을 기초로 한 중재 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

본 연구에서는 미래의 공공도서관의 역할 및 기능에 대한 이용자와 사서의 인식을 설문조사를 통해 실증적으로 분석하고, 이를 기반으로 미래 공공도서관의 발전 방향을 수립하는데 고려해야 하는 사항들을 제언하였다. 분석 결과, 사서와 이용자 모두 콘텐츠가 미래 공공도서관의 운영에 있어서 가장 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이용자들은 사서에 비해 정보서비스의 중요성을 보다 높게 인식하는 것으로 나타나, 미래 공공도서관에서는 다양한 정보서비스의 개발이 필요함을 보여주고 있다. 반면 최신 정보기술의 도입은 미래 공공도서관에서 상대적으로 그 중요성에 대한 인식이 낮게 나타나, 정보기술의 도입보다는 콘텐츠의 이용이나 정보요구를 충족시킬 수 있는 다양한 경로와 도구의 마련이 보다 중요한 것으로 나타났다.

본 연구에서는 공공도서관의 이용을 통한 정보의 공유가 각 개인의 사회자본을 형성하고 강화하는데 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 공공도서관 이용자를 대상으로 한 설문조사를 통해 분석한 결과, 공공도서관의 이용 빈도가 높고 공공도서관 프로그램에의 참여가 높을수록 정보공유에 대한 인식도와 공유된 정보에 대한 신뢰도가 높게 나타났다. 또한 사람들 사이의 정보공유는 공공도서관 이용을 매개로 했을 때 보다 활발하게 이루어지고 있으며, 이는 각 개인의 구조적, 관계적 사회자본에 전반적으로 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 반면, 공공도서관의 이용을 통한 정보공유가 인지적 사회자본의 형성에는 상대적으로 큰 역할을 수행하지는 못하는 것으로 나타나, 공공도서관의 이용 및 정보의 공유가 개인적인 정보요구를 충족시키는데 집중되는 것으로 분석되었다.

The purpose of this study is to review the historical development of British Museum Library and its cataloging rules which really marked the beginning of the modern era of cataloguing. The results of the study can be summarized as follows (1) Sir Anthony Panizzi was the most creative force in the history of the British Museum Library. He devoted himself to the formation of the British Museum Library cataloging policy and the compilation of printed catalogues. Moreover, he laid down the sound acquisitions policy and the vigorous a n.0, pplication of the copyright deposit privilege. He designed a great circular reading room and raised standards of library service and administration. (2) British Museum Library Cataloging Rules : 1. are notable for their pioneering efforts-this was the first major catalogue code-and for their influence on all subsequent codes. 2. introduced the concept of corporate authorship but has never dealt with problem very satisfactory. 3. went to great lengths to avoid title entry. 4. used a number of form heading, example for, ACADEMIES, PERIODICAL PUBLICATION, EPHEMERIDES, CATALOGUES etc.
