광촉매 공기청정 시스템 성능예측을 위한 시스템 내부 유동현상에 관한 수치모사 (Numerical Simulation of Flows inside a Photocatalysis Air Cleaning System for Performance Assessment)

  • 본 연구에서는 공기청정 시스템의 최적설계에 필요한 자료를 획득하기 위하여, 광촉매 필터 부분을 포함한 전체 시스템의 유동저항 특성을 수치해석 방법으로 연구하였으며, 이를 위해 광촉매 필터의 압력 강하량을 예측한 후, 이 결과를 바탕으로 광촉매 필터를 다공성 매질로 대체하여 전체 시스템의 해석에 이용하였다. 연구과정 중에 사용된 광촉매 필터는 원관형 필터로서 내경 6 mm와 20 mm의 두 가지 모델이 고려되었다. 내경 6 mm의 원관형 촉매는 내경 20 mm의 촉매에 비해 약 3배 높은 압력 강하량을 보였으며, 여러 개의 원관을 체결하기 위해 사용되는 촉매 하우징이 장착된 경우에 대해서도 해석을 수행하였다. 하우징이 있는 경우 압력 강하는 하우징이 없는 경우에 비해 약 8배 증가하였다. 전체 시스템의 유동장을 계산하기 위해 모사된 다공성 매질은 광촉매 필터의 특성을 1% 미만의 오차로 정확히 모사하고 있으며, 이를 이용하여 전체 시스템을 해석할 수 있었다.

교류전위차법에 의한 강자성체의 응력확대계수 결정 (Determination of stress intensity factor by means of ACPD technique for ferromagnetic materials)

  • In order to determine the Mode I stress intensity factor ($K_1$) experimentally by means of the alternating current potential drop(ACPD) technique, the change in potential drop due to load for a ferromagnetic material containing a two-dimensional surface crack was examined. The cause of the change in potential drop and the effect of the magnetic flux on the change in potential drop were clarified by using the measuring systems with and without removing the magnetic flux from the circumference of the specimen. To remove the magnetic flux, a new measuring system was made by utilizing the characteristic of coaxial transmission line. The change in potential drop in the case without magnetic flux in the air was caused by the change in electromagnetic properties near the crack tip due to magnetization. The relationship between the change in potential drop and the change in $K_I$ was linealized by demagnetization and was found to be independent of the crack length.

선박용 스트레이너의 압력강하 예측에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Prediction of Pressure Drop for Ship Strainer)

  • In this study, flow analysis was performed on three types of strainers for ships with different flow rates to predict the pressure drop of the strainer due to the filter of strainer. In the case of flow analysis, the flow analysis was performed by applying the porous media method by applying the resistance value derived by Ergun's equation to the filter position. As a result of the analysis, it was found that when the dimensions of the strainer body were small, the influence of the flow rate on the pressure drop was large. In addition, the amount of pressure drop and the flow rate are almost linearly proportional, and an analysis formula that can predict the amount of pressure drop was derived. In order to predict the amount of pressure drop of the strainer when blockage exist in the strainer filter, the analysis was performed by introducing the resistance ratio to derive the prediction equation. Using this equation, it is thought that it will be possible to predict the performance of the strainer due to blockage in the future strainer design and field application.

광섬유 bragg grating을 이용한 가변형 add/drop 필터에 관한 연구 (A study on tunable Add/Drop filter using Fiber Bragg Gratings)

  • We propose a tunable add/drop filter in a form of an all-fiber mach-zehnder interferometer iwth one bragg grating at each arm. This device can be tuned by inducing a strain in the bragg grating. We also theoretically analyze the outut characteristics of the tunable add/drop filter. As a result of simulation, we know that the proposed tunable add/drop filter works well. When 2*10$^{-3}$ of strain is induced, the reflected spectrum shifts about 3nm. And its reflected spectral width is about 0.3nm. In this case roughly 5 channels can be tuned, assuming the channel spacing is 0.3nm. When the pathlengths of the both arms are not the same, the transmissivities at the add and output ports and the reflectivity at the tap port varies sinusoidally with the pthlength difference. To maintain the transmissivities above 90% in the wavelength tuning range of 20nm the pathlength difference less than 16.mu.m is required.

  • This paper describes the characteristics of voltage drop and thermal for poor connection on electrical connector of circuit breaker in control box of small size pulverizer. In order monitor, we did the changes of RMS in voltage and temperature value with video and made normal state over $2.5N{\cdot}m$ and poor connections state below $0.2N{\cdot}m$ by screw gage. In case of voltage signal, the voltage drop was increased when the current was increased due to poor connections. In case of temperature signal, the temperature difference indicates ten times at 5A and fourteen times at 15A in the normal state. According to increase thermal energy, the insulation of electrical wiring and connector of circuit breaker can be carbonized. The results of this study will be useful to the development of preventive devices and system for electric fire by poor connection at small size pulverizer.

세관내 R-22 대체냉매의 응축압력강항에 관한 연구 (The Condensation Pressure Drop of Alternative Refrigerants for R-22 in Small Diameter Tubes)

  • The condensation pressure drop for pure refrigerants R-22, R-134a, and a binary refrigerant mixture R-410A flowing in a small diameter tube was investigated. The test section is a counterflow heat exchanger with refrigerant flowing in the inner tube and coolant flowing in the annulus. The test section consists of 1220 [mm] length with horizontal copper tube of 3.38 [mm] outer diameter and 1.77 [mm] inner diameter. The refrigerant mass fluxes ranged from 450 to 1050 [kg/(㎡$.$s)] and the average inlet and outlet qualities were 0.05 and 0.95, respectively. The main experimental results were summarized as follows : In the case of single-phase flow, the pressure drop of R-134a is much higher than that of R-22 and R-410A for the same Reynolds number. The friction factors for small diameter tubes are higher than those predicted by Blasius equation. In the case of two-phase flow, the pressure drop increases with increasing mass flux and decreasing quality. The pressure drop of R-134a is much higher than that of R-22 and R-410A for the same mass flux. Most of correlations proposed in the large diameter tube showed enormous deviations with experimental data. However, the correlation predicted by Honda et al showed relatively good agreement with experimental data for R-134.

공통(共通) 비골신경(?骨神經) 마비(麻痺)로 발생한 foot drop 환자 치험 1례 (A Case Report on Foot Drop Caused by Common Peroneal Nerve Palsy)

  • This report present on a case of common peroneal nerve palsy effectively treated with oriental medical therapy. Common peroneal nerve palsy caused by compression of nerve, general illness(diabetes mellitus) etc. It occur foot drop, disorder of ankle dorsi-flexor and eversion, disorder of foot sensory. If nerve palsy is progressed, muscle atropy is occurred. This patient fall foot drop before two month ago without reason. He is diagnosed as peroneal nerve palsy by brain MRI, EMG and doctor's physical examination. This patient effectively treated by oriental medical therapy. Oriental medical therapy is herb medicine(kamisamul-tang), acupuncture(S36, S38, S40, S41, G34, G39, G40, G41, LIV3, LIV4, K3, B60), Electro-acupuncture, bee venom acupuncture, moxibustion, electro physical therapy(EST, SSP). Time of therapy is two months and sequela is nothing.

  • 비상위치송신기(ELT)는 무수한 조난시의 응급구조에 큰 역할을 해왔다. 비행사, 항해사 그리고 지상 사용자들은 세상 어디에서든지 비상시에 조난신호를 위성에 송신이 가능한 장치를 갖추고 있는 것이다. 이 논문에서는 비상위치송신기의 본체를 낙하충격에 대하여 MSC/Dytran을 이용하여 해석하였다. 그리고 그 결과를 Karas' Example 이론 결과에 비교하였다. 또한, 추락생존성 시험에 대해 MSC/Nastran을 이용해 해석하였다. 비상위치송신기의 충격조건하에 과도응답해석을 하였다.

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to explore the effectiveness of Korean medicine treatment and the Muscle Energy Technique on foot drop through a case study with a patient with common peroneal neuropathy. Methods : A patient with severe foot drop after an ankle sprain was hospitalized and treated with acupuncture and traditional medicine and the Muscle Energy Technique. The effect of the treatment was evaluated with the Numeric Rate Scale(NRS), dorsiflexion angle evaluation, and the Manual Muscle Test (MMT). Results : The results of the NRS, dorsiflexion angle evaluation and MMT showed greatly improvementwith results changing from 8 to 2, 0 to 15, and Grade 2 to Grade 4, respectively. Conclusions : This study suggests that Korean medicine treatment and the Muscle Energy Technique could be effective treatments for foot drop with common peroneal neuropathy. However further clinical studies are needed to establish a definite conclusion.
