  • To improve reusability and adaptation of variable components, rule-based component development has been used. Rule engines usually need additional script languages for rule expression and have difficulty in expressing complex business rules. In this paper, we propose a compiler-based rule engine for rich rule expression and improving performance. This rule engine uses Java programming language to express conditions and action parts of rules and that it can easily express complex business rules. It creates and executes condition and action objects at run time. In view of Performance, the rule engine is better than a script based rule engine. According to our experiments, our compiler-based nile engine shows 2.5 times better performance that script-based JSR 94 rule engine.

  • Recently, there is a growing preference for a fast and secure cryptographic protocol that is applicable to Internet of things environments. Among the lattice-based cryptographic algorithms, the NTRU cryptosystem is secure by virtue of the shortest vector problem (SVP) and the closest problem(CVP), which is a problem of finding very short vectors and closest vector. NTRUSign, an electronic signature based on this cryptographic algorithm, has been proposed and proved unsafe for script attacks. In this paper, we propose a security protocol using a symmetric key algorithm by securing a shared key using key exchange. Therefore, the attacker can not compute the key value and intends to propose a more secure digital signature.

The Development of Characters with Artificial Emotion through Analyzing Drama characters - With a Korean Drama titled 'The Sons of Sol Pharmacy House' (드라마 대본 분석을 통한 등장인물의 성격이 반영된 인공정서 캐릭터 개발 - '솔약국집 아들들'을 중심으로)

  • This paper looks to extract personality traits from the drama characters within a drama script, and to apply it them to a character that has an artificial emotion. The method of applying the personality of a character from a drama script is as follows. First, we separate a drama script into several pieces, by the characters therin. Next, we extract emotion-related terms by matching morphemes analysis and by using an emotion terms database. Next, we analyze a dominant emotion using extracted emotion terms. Finally last, we apply the analyzed dominant emotion to an equation pertaining to artificial emotion. We made progress in developing user evaluation that features blind testing, to verify that the artificial emotion character bears the personality of a drama character. We apply three drama character personalities to artificial emotion characters bearing the same appearance. The user had to match three artificial emotion characters and drama characters according to personality. The users had a high percentage of correct answers, thus confirming the efficacy of our method of applying a personality, using information from a drama script.

  • Objectives : The Wenyilun is the first specialized text on warm disease, written by Wuyouke from the Ming period in 1642. Methods : This paper examines the newly discovered manuscript of the Wenyilun called the Yeonreungjip, focusing on its bibliography and content. In addition, the original script of the Yeonreungjip was studied philologically. Results : 1. The Yeonreungjip was transcribed in the early 20th century. 2. The Jongbaegmuusan formula is a tried and tested prescription unique to Korea. 3. The original script of the Yeonreungjip is affiliated with the Chinese Liuchang edition. It is uncertain when this edition was introduced to Korea. 4. The contents of the Yeonreungjip referenced the Siququanshu edition series. Conclusions : In conclusion, the Yeonreungjip is the only transcribed version of the specialized Chinese warm disease text from the Joseon period that is known today. Its implication in the research of warm disease introduction to Korea is manifold.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine developmental trends in script-based organization strategy and relative influences of age, use of organizational strategy and category typicality of lists on children's recall. The subjects were 120 infant children, -40 four years old, 40 five years old, 40 six years old. All subjects were received 1 of 2 slot-filler lists of items differing in category representativness. Data were analysed by two-way Anova, Duncan's post-hoc test and Multiple Regression analysis. The major findings were as follows. 1. Recall and use of organizational strategy were increased with age. 2. At each age level, children showed high level of recall and organization strategy for category typical than category atypical. 3. Children's age, use of organizational strategy and category typicality of list significantly predicted children's recall. 42% of the variance of children's recall was explained by three variables. The relative influence of age to the prediction of children's recall was the strongest.

  • It is difficult that we collect only target documents from the Innumerable Web documents. One of solution to the problem is that we select target documents on the Web site which services many documents of target domain. In this paper, we will propose an intelligent crawling method collecting needed documents based on URL pattern script defined by XML. Proposed crawling method will efficiently apply to the sites which service structuralized information of a piece with database. In this paper, we collected 50 thousand Web documents using our crawling method.
