Objectives : The purpose of this study is to investigate on the Korean and Western medicine clinic quality to use IPA matrix and to establish a Korean medicine service management strategy. Methods : In order to achieve the research purpose, medical consumers who visited 3 Korean and Western medicine clinics were surveyed. frequency analysis, paired t-test were used for the statistical analysis, and the mean of each variable was used for IPA analysis. Results : The major results of analysis are as follows: It was confirmed that the skill and the kindness of the human resources were important in both the Korean medicine clinic and the Western medicine clinic. And it was confirmed the difference of the satisfaction rate and IPA between the Korean medicine clinic and the Western medicine clinic. Especially Medical devices and equipment, Easy booking, reception, payment procedure were different in IPA analysis. Conclusions : We confirmed the similarities and differences between Korean medicine clinics and Western medicine clinics in terms of importance, satisfaction, and IPA. On the basis of these results, Korean Medicine clinic could arrange a management strategy in consideration of consumers' choice attribute.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report the effectiveness of Gagamsunbangpaedoktang on 30 Chronic Urticaria patients. Methods : Total 30 chronic urticaria patients, who has visited korean medical clinic from 1st July 2014 to 29th February 2016 were analyzed by using Urticaria Activity Socre(UAS). Subanalysis of UAS was done according to disease period. Results & Conclusions : UAS score was improved as a result of Gagamsunbangpaedoktang treatment. Gagamsunbangpaedoktang can be effective treatment for Chronic Urticaria.

Age-related osteoporotic compression fractures occur frequently in old aged group recently. Percutaneous vertebroplasty has recently been introduced as a therapeutic method for the treatment of pain associated with osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture. Percutaneous intravertebral injection of PMMA (polymethylmethacrylate) results in marked reduction in pain and morbidity. Among complications during vertebroplasty with PMMA, pulmonary embolism is repotred occasionally but the reports about hypotension are not common. This case is a report of a patient whom significant hypotension occured during percutaneous vertebroplasty.

Objectives : We performed a retrospective study to verify the effects of Chungan-tang and acupuncture in acne patients.Methods : This study included patients with facial acne who visited to six branch of clinics in 2014. They were evaluated by Korean Acne Grading System (KAGS) before and after treatment.Results : The average grade of KAGS was 4.02±1.120 at before treatment and 1.30±0.867 at after treatment. 64 patients were classified as three groups by treatment period and KAGS grade significantly decreased in all groups. Six skin symptoms such as heat, blush, dryness, itch, prick, pain also significantly improved.Conclusions : This results may provide that Korean medical treatments including Chungan-tang and acupuncture have effects on improving acne.

The purpose of this report is to evaluate effect of Korean medical treatment on idiopathic gonadotropin-dependent precocious puberty (G-DPP) patient received herbal medicine. We administered Aesopjiyoun-tang remedy to idiopathic G-DPP and analyzed the delay effect by hormonal value and radiographs; the height growth effect by measurement of height. After Korean medical treatment, suppression effect to peak-Luteinizing Hormone level (LHL) is 14.39IU/L to 10.9IU/L for 13month, growth effect to height value is 11cm/13month; and change of mean growth velocity (MGV) is 6.08cm/year to 10.06cm/year. The gain in height by treatment is 3.98cm/year. The result suggests Aesopjiyoun-tang can be an effective treatment for G-DPP. Herbal medicine can be used as an alternative treatment in place of the GnRH treatment.

Objectives: To provide a case report of effective use of Korean herbal medicine treatment to reduce the development and progression of normal-tension glaucoma(NTG). Methods: This case involved a 52-year-old patient who had a history of excimer laser surgery at the age of 25 and was using prescriptions such as Cosopts2 and Xalatan for eye drops. We treated this patient with Korean herbal medicine treatment for 2 years and assessed the progression of NTG based on the optical coherence tomography test results that he recevied at the ophthalmology clinic every 6 months. Results: During the two years of treatment with Korean herbal medicine, it was observed that the progression of NTG was halted. However, after discontinuing the Korean herbal treatment, the progression resumed. Conclusion: Korean herbal medicine treatment was found to be effective in treating normal tension glaucoma, and a minimum treatment period of two years is necessary for an accurate evaluation of NTG.
