  • This study first examines the effect of perceived body characteristics, satisfaction with body characteristics on perceived size related risk, and internet shopping clothing behaviors; in addition, it also examines the effect of the perceived size related risk on clothing behaviors. A questionnaire was conducted with responses from 219 female students, aged 19 to 25. Data was analyzed by frequency analysis, correlation analysis, ANOVA and Duncan test. The findings suggest that a consumer satisfied with body characteristics has active clothing behaviors to improve her appearance or body image. The effects of perceived body characteristics and satisfaction with body characteristics on perceived size related risk are also identified. The perceived size related risk increases when the size information of an internet shopping mall is insufficient compared to the situation when the consumer is not satisfied with her body characteristics. The meaningful differences of clothing behaviors according to extent of perceived size related risk are identified.

  • In this paper, we propose a parametric model for analyzing the motion information obtained from the acceleration sensors to measure the activity of the human body. The motion of the upper body and the lower body does not occur at the same time, and the motion analysis method using a single motion sensor involves a lot of errors. In this study, the 3-axis accelerometer is attached to the arms and legs, the body's activity data are measured, the momentum of the arms and legs are calculated for each channel, and the linear predictive coefficient is obtained for each channel. The periodicity of the upper body and the lower body is determined by analyzing the correlation between the channels. The linear predictive coefficient and the periodic value are used as data to measure the type of exercise and the amount of exercise. In the proposed method, we measured four types of movements such as walking, stair climbing, slow hill climbing, and fast hill descending. In order to verify the usefulness of the parameters, the recognition results are presented using the linear predictive coefficient and the periodic value for each motion as the neural network input.

  • This study investigates changes in body size (as well as fit) before/after wear, according to the breast and brassiere type. To offer producers basic data on how to develop excellent brassieres, we accordingly conducted preliminary research on 183 20's women. The research revealed that breast-related size and fit change by about 10%; however, the upper length and inner length of breasts decreases. The fit of domed ones is the best and the fit of the elongated ones is the worst; subsequently, a closer representation of the ideal breast leads to a better fit to wear.

  • Stance is defined as any state in which the total mass of the body is supported by the feet. In order to maintain stance, the sum of gravito-inertial forces acting on the body must be registered by equal and opposite forces at the region of contact between the organism and the support surface. Balance is controlled by applying forces to the surface of support so as to maintain the body's center of mass vertically above the feet. for a muIti-segment organism, there can be a variety of ways in which balance can be controlled, since movements of different body segments can have similar effects on the control of balance. In general, the organism tends to have a body configuration that is aligned with gravito-inertial force when there are no external forces acting on it. If any segments of the body are not aligned with gravito-inertial force vector, a torque on that segment would tend to move the body's center of mass. The maintenance of postural stability is accomplished in humans by a complex neural control system. This requires organizing integrating and acting upon visual, vestibular, and somatosensory input, providing orientation information to the postural control system. The information necessary to control and coordinate movement is provided by the visual sense of eye position with respect to the surrounding surface layout, the vestibular sense of head orientation in the gravito-inertial space, and the somatic sense of body segment position relative to one another and to the support surface. In this study, perception and action capability was examined from various points of view. The underlying assumption of the study was that the change of postural configuration could be effected by organism, environment and task goal.

  • The Sun's ray is composed of Infrared(49%), Visible light(40%) and Ultra violet(11%), however the ray getting to the earth is FIR(Far infrared; 60%), IR(Infrared; 20%), and UV(Ultra Violet; 20%). Human beings has utilized FIR already from time immemorial. Hershel found out Infrared for the first time. in the Industrial Revolution the Infrared and FIR had been begun to use making products. In these days, with contemporary science FIR would be begun to clear up the implication in the human body and organic compound. IR classified by wavelength three parts NlR, MIR, FIR. There is FIR which is radiated from healthy human body the wave length is 8-l4m. The human body is composed of proteins which get easily changed by a thermal factor (about 42 $^{\circ}$C over). FIR with low temperature can deeply penetrate on the human body composed things without troublesomes, since FIR has effectively operated on the human body at low temperature (35-40 $^{\circ}$C). When FlR penetrated on the human body. it would inhibit the abnormal genes and cells expression, and then information of DNA and RNA would be reexpressed for arranging DNA and RNA abnormal state. As FlR's receptors in the body, it could be presumed that N-glycosyl linkage of purine and deoxyribose, RNA splicing process, and Heat shock protein. To take the FIR which was a optimized wavewlength and strength, at first, we induced the characteristic algorithm and the computerized programing. Then we formed that the formular of optimized FIR with physical, mathematical logic and theory. especially, Plank, Kirchhoff, Wien, Stefan-Boltzmann's logic and law. In the long run, the formular was induced with integration mathematical, since we had to know the molecular wavelength. Based on the induced formular as above, we programmed the optimized FlR radiating computerized program. In this research, we designed the eletronic circuit f3r interfacing with human body to diagnosis and treatment with FIR sensor which radiated FIR wavelength optimized.

  • Objectives The body shape was a key information for diagnosing the Sasang constitution (SC) in Sasang constitutional medicine. The aim of this study was to compare the body shapes and mainly focusing on the Korean and Chinese-KoreanMethods We calculated the propensity score for each SC type in males and females separately, and compared body shape including 8 circumference and 5 width between Korean and Chinese-Korean according to the sex and SC.Results Koreans have larger trunk and hip area compared to Chinese-Koreans, while Chinese-Koreans have larger abdomen compared with Koreans. Most variables were significantly different among SC types, for both Korean and Chinese-Korean. Especially, the Taeumin (TE) type has the largest body shape compared with the other SC types, it was similar between Korean and Chinese-Korean.Conclusions This study showed that the TE type has the largest body shape, followed by Soyangin (SY) and Soeumin (SE) in order, for both Korean and Chinese-Korean respectively. These results suggests that the body shape of Chinese-Korean is similar with Korean based on SC type.

  • According to the principle of KCR (Korean Cataloging Rules), all headings should be done in Korean. But due to the existence of homonym, arising between Korean and Chinese character, both of them are used in Korea, it is impossible to distinguish original Chiness character of author's name. Therefore, a method to correctly distinguish the Heading in Korean by co-writing Chinese character for headings in Korean character in the author space of body of the entry is presented.

  • In this paper, we constructed a two-phase spam-mail filtering system based on the lexical and conceptual information. There are two kinds of information that can distinguish the spam mail from the ham (non-spam) mail. The definite information is the mail sender's information, URL, a certain spam keyword list, and the less definite information is the word list and concept codes extracted from the mail body. We first classified the spam mail by using the definite information, and then used the less definite information. We used the lexical information and concept codes contained in the email body for SVM learning in the 2nd phase. According to our results the ham misclassification rate was reduced if more lexical information was used as features, and the spam misclassification rate was reduced when the concept codes were included in features as well.

  • This paper proposes a real-time algorithm for tracking the fast moving human body. Although Iterative closest point (ICP) algorithm is suitable for real-time tracking due to its efficiency and low computational complexity, ICP often fails to converge when the human body moves fast because the closest point may be mistakenly selected and trapped in a local minimum. To overcome such limitation, we combine a particle filter based on a motion history information with the ICP. The proposed human body motion tracking algorithm reduces the search space for each limb by employing a hierarchical tree structure, and enables tracking of the fast moving human bodies by using the motion prediction based on the motion history. Experimental results show that the proposed human body motion tracking provides accurate tracking performance and fast convergence rate.
