소아에서 호기내 수소검사를 이용한 유당 흡수장애 유병률 (Prevalence of Lactose Malabsorption in Children by Breath Hydrogen Test)

  • 목적: 국내 소아에서 유당 흡수장애 유병률이 변화하는 연령을 파악하고 생리적 용량의 db당부하 호기 수소검사 시 유병률을 알아보고자 본 연구를 시행하였다. 방법: 1998년 5월부터 1998년 8월까지 서울의 초등학교 및 유치원 한 곳, 어린이집 두 곳의 건강한 소아를 대상으로 표준 유당부하 호기내 수소검사는 생후 25개월에서 96개월까지 총 129명(남아 75명, 여아 52명), 생리적 용량의 유당부하 호기내 수소검사는 생후 25개월에서 84개월까지 총 126명(남아 72명, 여아 51명)에서 시행하였다. 호기 검체는 공복시 기저치, 유당부하 60분, 120분 후에 각각 수집하여 Model 12i Microlyzer (Quintron, USA)를 이용하여 분석하였다. 결과: 1) 표준 유당부하 호기내 수소검사에서 유당 흡수장애의 유병률은 생후 25~36개월에서 7%, 생후 37~48개월에서 19%, 생후 49~60개월에서 35%, 생후 61~72개월에서 55%, 생후 73~84개월에서 82%, 생후 84~96개월에서 80%였다. 2) 표준 유당부하 호기내 수소검사에서 유당불 내성의 유병률은 생후 25~36개월에서 0%, 생후 37~48개월에서 9%, 생후 49~60개월에서 17%, 생후 61~72개월에서 22%, 생후 73~84개월에서 41%, 생후 84~96개월에서 70%였다. 3) 생리적 용량의 유당부하 호기내 수소검사에서 생후 25개월부터 84개월까지 총 126명의 소아중 한 명에서만 유당 흡수장애를 보였으며 유당불 내성은 한명도 없었다. 결론: 한국인 소아의 유당 흡수장애 유병률은 생후 37개월부터 60 개월에 증가하며 생후 72개월 이후에는 성인의 유병률에 도달하게 된다. 유당 흡수장애군에서도 생리적 용량의 유당을 포함한 우유의 섭취는 임상적으로 문제가 되지 않음을 확인할 수 있었다.

연속 회분식 반응조의 최적 운전시스템에 관한 연구 (Study on the optimum operation system of Sequencing Batch Reactor)

  • SBR process used to evaluate the removal of organics, nitrogen and phosphorus on the basis of a report of research on a precedence at various operation cycle and condition change. Effluent concentration of COD were 50mg/l, 50mg/l, 90mg/l respectively, The removal rates of COD were nearly over 95% at Run 1, 2 and 4. But at Run 3, Effluent concentration of COD was 255.0mg/l, The removal rate of COD was 87% at Run 3. As Oxic/Anoxic rate was fixed and operating cycle of Oxic/Anoxic was changed, the removal rates of T-N were 74.7%, 46.9%, 28.5%, 63.3% respectively at Run 1~4. The case of Run 1 was best result. The removal rates of T-P was appeared in proportion to T-N removal rates and rest of $NO_2-N$. The removal rates of T-P were 51.2%, 35.5%, 41.5%, 51.9% respectively. The removal rates of COD, T-N, T-P were influenced on the change of SBR operation cycle. As organic loading rate was $1.43kgCOD/m^3day$ and C/N ratio was 3.0, operation cycle of Run 1 was best condition of T-N removal rates and T-P removal.

Rosiglitazone약물을 함유한 PLGA 나노입자 제조 및 분석 (Preparation and Characterization of Rosiglitazone-loaded PLGA Nanoparticles)

  • 본 연구에서는 당뇨병치료제인 로시글리타존약물를 생분해성 PLGA 나노입자에 봉입시킴으로서 위장흡수율과 물에 대한 용해도를 증가시키기 위한 나노제제 개발에 기반을 두고 있다. 특히 제조조건에 따라 형태 및 크기가 조절가능한 나노입자를 제조하고자 하였고, 실험결과 Emulsion-evaporation방법을 사용하여 100-150 nm 크기의 고른 입자분포를 가진 나노입자를 제조하였다. 다양한 농도의 약물 존재하에서 나노입자를 제조함으로서 1%까지의 약물이 80% 이상의 봉입율로 제조될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 나노입자의 크기는 PVA양을 조절하면서 크기분포를 제어하였다. 36시간 동안의 용출실험 결과 초기 약간의 Burst effect가 있었으나 36시간동안 일정하게 약물이 용출되어 나옴을 확인하였다. 앞으로의 연구를 통해, 고효율의 경구제제용 당뇨병치료제 운반체 개발에 중점을 둘 예정이다.

저농도 도시하수 처리를 위한 활성슬러지공정에서 HRT 및 SRT가 처리효율에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of HRT and SRT on Treatment Efficiency of Activated Sludge Process for Low Concentration Municipal Sewage)

  • Most of the municipal wastewater treatment plants operated in Korea are designed for high concentrations municipal sewage. However, activated sludge process employed by municipal wastewater treatment plant is operated at low organic loading. The objective of this study was to determine optimum operating condition of activated sludge process for treatment of low concentration municipal sewage. Three bench scale activated sludge reactors were operated to investigate the effect of HRT and SRT on the COD and TSS removal efficiency. The average concentration of TSS, SCOD, SBOD and TKN in influent were 118mg/l, 61mg/l, 21mg/l, and 12mg/l, respectively. The activated sludge reactors operated with various HRT and SRT showed about 89-93% TSS removal efficiency. HRT and SRT does not affect the TSS removal efficiency of actvatied sludge process significantly. However, HRT affected the SCOD removal efficiency slightly. As the HRT decreases from 13hours to 3hours, the SCOD removal efficiency decreases from 67% to 56%. The average effluent TCOD concentration of the reactor operated with 3hours of HRT was approximatly 40-45mg/l. Kinetic coefficient yield (Yt) and decay coefficients(Kd) were 0.594-0.954 mgMLVSS/mgCOD and $0.0197-0.0317day^{-1}$, respectively. Low concentration municipal sewage can be treated with 3 hours of HRT without effluent quality deterioration and SRT does not affect the substrate removal efficiency at this operation condition.

피에조를 이용한 초소형 단일 솔더볼 연결부의 전단 시험장치 개발 (Development of a Shear Testing Machine for a Miniature Single Solder Ball Joint using Piezoelectric Loading Device)

  • A miniature shear testing machine was designed and developed, adopting a piezoelectric actuator with mechanical advantage using 4 levers in order to investigate shear behavior of a small solder ball. The final output displacement was initially expected to be 2.88 mm without load resistance, considering the lever ratio of 24 and the piezo displacement of 0.12 mm with an exciting voltage of 10 V. However, the final plunger displacement ${\Delta}{\upsilon}$ can be expected as ${\Delta}{\upsilon}=2.88-3.04{\times}10^{-4}F$ as a function of piezoelectric force F due to the stiffness of various levers and connectors and piezo actuator. The shear behavior of lead-free solder ball in diameter of $760{\mu}m$ was successfully investigated in a speed range of 2 mm/s~0.0035 mm/s using this designed device.

고장력(SM570)강재의 압축재 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of High Tensile Strength Steel(SM570) Plates in Compression Members)

  • 본 연구에서는 높은 축력을 받는 기둥재에 사용 가능성이 큰 고장력 용접구조용 압연강재인 SM570의 압축좌굴내력을 평가하기 위해서 중심압축실험을 실시하였다. 단 주압축 실험결과 강구조 계산규준이 정하고 있는 판폭두께비의 제한치를 만족시키는 기둥부재의 최대내력은 국부좌굴에 의해 결정되며, 판폭두께비의 제한치를 만족시키지는 못하는 경우에는 최대내력이 도달하기 전에 국부좌굴에 의해서 급격히 저하하였다. 또한 압축 좌굴내력이 SM570 강재의 설계기준값인 $4.1tonf/cm^2$보다 높게 나타났다.

  • Ship are typically thin-walled structures and consists of stiffened plate structure by purpose of required design load and weight reduction etc. Also, a hull structural characteristics are often used in structures with curvature at deck plating with camber, side shell plating at fore and aft parts and bilge circle parts, It have been believed that these structures can be modelled fundamentally by a part of cylinder. Structural component with curvature subjected to combined loading regimes and complex boundary conditions, which can potentially collapse due to buckling. Hence, for more rational and safe design of ship structures, it is crucial importance to better understand the interaction relationship of the buckling and ultimate strength for cylindrically curved plate under these load components. In this study, the ultimate strength characteristic of curved plate under combined load(lateral pressure load + axial compressive load) are investigated through using FEM series analysis with varying geometric panel properties.

Electric Propulsion Naval Ships with Energy Storage Modules through AFE Converters

  • This paper proposes a novel electric propulsion system for naval ships, which consists of Active Front End (AFE) converters directly connected to battery Energy Storage Modules (ESMs). Employing the proposed AFE converters with ESMs in the power systems of naval ships can enhance the reliability and quality of the electric power. Furthermore, the fuel-efficiency of the generator can be improved by a higher loading factor of the generator and its prime movers. The proposed AFE configuration does not require an additional dedicated DC/AC converter for the ESMs. Instead of that, the AFE converter itself can control the DC link voltage and the discharging and/or charging of the ESMs. A control scheme to achieve these control objectives is also presented in this paper. The overall power system, including the generators and electrical loads of a naval ship, is implemented by a small scaled Power Hardware-In-the-Loop (PHIL) simulator. Through this experimental setup, the proposed system configuration and the power control strategies are verified. It is shown that the fuel-efficiency and transient dynamics can be improved in the normal and contingency operation modes.

  • In this paper, we suggest an optimization method which can save about 5[%] of the cost though the optimizing of configuration and capacity for the facility. To achieve this goal, we compared the design data of the power, motor and drive system with the actual operation data of the plate mill plant in K-Steelworks. Therefore we measured the actual loading data by facilities considering the operating conditions of the plate mill plant in K-Steelworks, after that analyzed these data. In addition, we review the optimal capacity for transformer, switchgear and drive, and also reconfigured the electrical room and power single line diagram through the validation of motor data by equipment and the confirmation of process data considering the load characteristics. Consequently, the optimization method of capacity for the facilities shall have effectiveness in building new plate mill plant to further reduce costs at future.

  • 본 연구는 지진운동의 영향 하에서 강제 모멘트 골조로 이루어진 post-Northridge 연결부를 갖는 보의 탄성 및 비탄성 거동을 모델하기 위한 부등단면 보 요소를 제시한다. 단면감소 연결부를 갖는 부등단면 보의 탄성강성 행렬은 수치적분이 필요치 많은 수식으로 표현된다. 소성모델은 분포형이며 강체링크로 연결된 일련의 비선형 힌지로 구성 되어있고 경화법칙은 단조 및 임의 주기 하중에 대한 비탄성 거동과 국부좌굴의 효과를 고려할 수 있다. 모델의 대조와 검증은 동반논문에 제시되어있다.
