The purpose of this study was to explore the progression levels of science metamodeling knowledge through using questionnaires for 97 students of the gifted in G science academy. As a result of the Rasch model analysis, it was confirmed that the progression levels of the scientific metamodeling knowledge is suitable for the person reliability of 0.71 and the item reliability of 0.96. The progression levels of students' science metamodeling knowledge were classified into 4 stages. First and second levels were considered model to be objective and the third and fourth stages were perceived as subjective. The first level is to view the model as a visual representation of a phenomenon as it is, and the second level is to think that the model corresponds to objective knowledge or theory and is a tool for explanation. The Third level looks at the model as a scientist's exploration tool and fourth level is to think that the model is provisional one and multiple models can coexist in one phenomenon. The progression levels of science metamodeling knowledge of science high school students derived from this study is expected to be used as a reference when constructing a curriculum for science modeling and modeling for gifted students.

This paper introduces a robot knowledge framework which is represented with multiple classes, levels and layers to implement robot intelligence at real environment for mobile robot. Our root knowledge framework consists of four classes of knowledge (KClass), axioms, rules, a hierarchy of three knowledge levels (KLevel) and three ontology layers (OLayer). Four KClasses including perception, model, activity and context class. One type of rules are used in a way of unidirectional reasoning. And, the other types of rules are used in a way of bi-directional reasoning. The robot knowledge framework enable a robot to integrate robot knowledge from levels of its own sensor data and primitive behaviors to levels of symbolic data and contextual information regardless of class of knowledge. With the integrated knowledge, a robot can have any queries not only through unidirectional reasoning between two adjacent layers but also through bidirectional reasoning among several layers even with uncertain and partial information. To verify our robot knowledge framework, several experiments are successfully performed for object recognition and navigation.
The purpose of this study is to investigate window bakery employees' knowledge levels and performance in food sanitation. The questionnaire consists of education, knowledge and management levels for food sanitation. A total of 300 copies of questionnaire were distributed to window bakery employees, and 295 copies were used for the study among them. In the knowledge analysis of food sanitation, it had the highest percentage of correct answers for 'Clip fingernails short and do not use nail polish,' but the lowest rank for 'Foodborne disease breaks out mainly in summer time.' In sanitary management performance, 'Clip fingernails short and do not use nail polish'(4.67) and 'Wash hands after using toilet'(4.67) items showed high scores, but 'Have and use hand washer'(3.12) showed the lowest score as a result of knowledge analysis. The sanitary knowledge by job title showed that the scores of general managers were generally lower than those of others. The employees who had working duration less than 1 year had a high score in sanitary knowledge levels. The more the education of sanitation, the better the knowledge of sanitation. In sanitary management performance levels, the scores were high in personal hygiene, ingredients & preparation hygiene, facility & workplace hygiene in order. The scores of sanitary management performance levels were low for the employees who had less than 1 year working duration. The employees who had no sanitary training showed the low knowledge and sanitary management practice levels(p<0.05). The analysis of each question about sanitary management performance levels by age, job titles, frequency of sanitary education, and checklists revealed that the employees who had no sanitary training or no checklist showed the low sanitary management performance levels overall.
The primary goal of the study was to provide some preliminary validity evidence for the Vocabulary Grade Levels Test (Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education, 2009), which is designed to measure the receptive vocabulary knowledge of learners in L2. For the purpose of the current study, 327 participants at the elementary school participated in the study and were asked to take two different vocabulary tests. Namely, a Vocabulary Size Test (Nation, 2001) and a Vocabulary Grade Levels Test. The data were analyzed using correlation in order to discover the relationship between these two types of tests. Following this, the Rasch analysis was conducted to examine the reliability and validity of the measurement in question. The data analysis showed that both grade separation reliability and item separation reliability were high, indicating that the Vocabulary Grade Levels Test well discriminates learners with a wide range of proficiency levels. The findings of the study are discussed, along with further improvements in order to ascertain the validity of this particular vocabulary test.

The purpose of this study was to examine the pedagogical content knowledge(PCK) and teaching efficacy levels of prospective Home Economics teachers. Also of interest were the relationship between PCK and teaching efficacy, as well as the personal factors that influence PCK and teaching efficacy. A survey was administered to students majoring in Home Economics in colleges of education or graduate schools of education in South Korea, and a total of 202 complete responses were analyzed. The prospective Home Economics teachers showed moderately low levels of PCK and teaching efficacy. Among the PCK subcategories, the mean score for content knowledge was the highest, those for expression knowledge and environmental situation knowledge were the lowest. Expression knowledge and content knowledge showed significant effects on teaching self-efficacy, and expression knowledge and environmental situation knowledge on teaching result expectation. As for students' personal characteristics, years in college showed significant effect: Sophomores were the highest in PCK and teaching efficacy levels. Also, those who plan to become Home Economics teachers showed significantly lower levels of PCK and teaching efficacy perception than those who do not. Besides, the more basic required courses they took, the lower their perception of PCK or teaching efficacy. This study suggests that teacher education programs should develop a program that can enhance prospective teachers' teaching efficacy by providing advice and assistance to those students who plan to become teachers, and more hands-on opportunities to practice teaching.
This study was performed to investigate knowledge, attitudes and related behavior on the food hygiene and safety management of school food-service programs among mothers and to find factors affecting their knowledge, attitudes and behavior. A self-administered questionnaire was offered to a random sample of 301 mothers who have children attending elementary schools in one region of Korea. The survey was carried out over a two-month period (April-May,2001). They had lower behavior scores compared to the scores of knowledge and attitudes (p〈0.05). The micro levels of the knowledge, attitudes and behavior scores also showed the same tendency. Logistic regression analysis showed that mothers' education level affected their knowledge and attitudes, while the participating activity in school food-service programs affected their behavior the most frequently. Pearson's correlation analysis confirmed that the knowledge and attitude scores were significantly correlated (r=0.61404, p〈0.001). The results indicate that the knowledge and attitude levels of mothers regarding the food hygiene and safety of school food-service programs were good, however, their behavior levels were not satisfactory. The findings highlight the importance of participating programs in school food-service programs to close gaps between the behavior and knowledge or attitudes of mothers and to improve their behavior levels.
The present writer conducted this study in order to seek desirable directions to enhance right recognition of aesthetic dental prostheses and maximize the aesthetic effect of dental prostheses, by investigating satisfaction with and recognition of aesthetic prostheses among citizens in Daejeon, the writer carried out a self-administered survey with a questionnaire, reaching the following conclusions. 1. It was revealed that 54.4% of them had previous knowledge of aesthetic prostheses while 45.6% had not, and among people with the knowledge, 20.8% acquired it from the dental clinic interested. 2. It was revealed that 58.9% were not satisfied with their front teeth, and among them 24.8% were discontented with their teeth color most. 3. In general characteristics according to whether or not they have previous knowledge aesthetic prosthesis, among people with the knowledge 58.8% were female while 41.2% were male, showing a statistically significant difference (pM0.002). 4. In terms of levels of satisfaction with aesthetic dental prostheses by age, in the case of dissatisfaction people over 30 were most with 14.1%. 5. In terms of levels of recognition of aesthetic prostheses according to whether or not they have previous knowledge of those, among people with the knowledge, 55.8% reported that aesthetic prostheses are necessary (pM0.000). 6. In terms of levels of recognition of aesthetic prostheses according to whether or not they have aesthetic prostheses, among people with knowledge of the kinds of aesthetic prostheses, 87.2%(pM0.000). It was thought that in order to create accurate recognition of and enhance satisfaction with aesthetic dental prostheses, dental care expenses should be adjusted reasonably and also dentists should perform public relations actively with accurate information and provide related education.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the knowledge, caregiving performance, stress levels, and mental health of family caregivers of terminal cancer patients with delirium, insofar as these characteristics are relevant for delirium. Methods: Between May 1, 2019, and June 1, 2020, 96 family caregivers of terminal cancer patients with delirium completed a structured survey, the results of which were analyzed. Results: The average correct answer rate for delirium-related knowledge was 53.2% across all subcategories, which included knowledge of causes (41.5%), symptoms (65.4%), and caregiving (51.7%). The average score for family caregivers' performance of caregiving for delirium was 2.60±0.5, with subcategories including caregiving for patients without delirium (2.16±0.95), caregiving for patients with delirium (2.84±1.01), and stress related to caregiving for delirium (39.88±16.55), as well as categories such as patient-related caregiving (44.32±28.98), duty-related caregiving (44.21±30.15), and interpersonal relationship-related caregiving (22.35±25.03). For mental health, the average score among family caregivers was 1.96±0.70, with the highest score being for the category of additional items (2.28±0.84). Family caregivers of patients with hyperactive delirium as the delirium subtype had higher scores for caregiving performance than caregivers of patients with mixed delirium. Conclusion: Scores for the delirium-related knowledge and caregiving performance of family caregivers were low, while their caregiving stress levels were high due to their lack of knowledge and experience. This indicates the importance of delirium-related education for family members of patients with delirium and the necessity of developing nursing intervention programs to help manage stress and promote mental health among family caregivers.
Objectives: The aim of this study was to examine the current status of consumption of energy drinks among college students and investigate the effects of general environmental factors, health behavior factors, caffeine knowledge levels, and perceived stress levels on consumption of energy drinks. Methods: A survey was conducted among a total of 479 college students in Gwangju, using self-administered questionnaires. The questionnaire consisted of items about general environmental factors, health behavior, caffeine knowledge, perceived stress, and energy drink consumption behaviors. Results: 69.1% of participants experienced consumption of energy drinks, and specifically 82.8% of male students and 54.1% of female students experienced consumption of energy drinks (p<0.001). The reasons for drinking energy drinks were found to be recovery from fatigue, curiosity, taste, habit, thirst relief, and stress relief. In addition, 40.7% of participants experienced drinking energy drinks mixed with alcohol, and specifically 48.6% of male students and 27.4% of female students reported drinking energy drinks with alcohol (p<0.001). Moreover, 51.5% of participants responded that they experienced the effects of energy drinks, 31.9% reported experiencing adverse effects, and 41.1% were found to perceive the health risks. As a result of the assessment of caffeine knowledge, the participants showed a high level of knowledge of the arousal effect (77.7%) and the concentration increasing effect (70.8%) of caffeine, whereas they exhibited a low level of understanding of the health problems due to caffeine (32.6%) and adequate caffeine intake levels (24.4%). The higher levels of consumption experience of energy drinks was associated with higher body mass indexes (BMI) (p<0.01), higher academic years (p<0.01), lower levels of interest in health (p<0.05), smoking (p<0.001), alcohol consumption (p<0.05), and higher levels of perceived stress (p<0.05). Conclusions: The risk groups related to consumption of energy drinks among college students were identified as male students rather than female students, students in the third or fourth year of study associated with increased stress levels, and students with negative health behaviors. Therefore, support for diverse health and nutrition education for college students is required along with the improvement of internal and external environments of schools in order for college students to manage increased stress levels due to the schoolwork and preparation for employment and maintain positive health behaviors.
Purpose: This study investigated Korean healthcare providers' attitudes toward sexual and gender minority (SGM) persons and their knowledge and behavior concerning the collection of data on sexual orientation and gender identity (SO/GI). Methods: In this cross-sectional, descriptive study, 137 Korean healthcare providers were recruited through convenience sampling from internet communities for medical professionals. A structured questionnaire was created using Google Surveys. The Mann-Whitney U-test, Kruskal-Wallis test, and Spearman correlation analysis were performed. Results: The sample was mostly women (80.3%) and nurses (83.9%), who had overall negative attitudes toward SGM persons and low levels of knowledge and behavior with regard to the collection of patients' SO/GI data. Participants in their 20s, who were religious, and had clinical experiences in treating or providing nursing care for SGM persons had higher levels of knowledge about the collection of SO/GI data. The level of engagement in collecting SO/GI data was higher among women and in their 20s and 30s, unreligious participants, nurses, and those with less than 10 years of clinical experience. Positive attitudes toward SGM persons were associated with higher levels of knowledge, but lower levels of behavior, regarding the collection of SO/GI data. Conclusion: It is important to recognize the diversity of patients' SO/GI and to collect the corresponding information. To this end, it is necessary to develop and use a standardized SO/GI form. Healthcare providers should also receive education and training related to the health of SGM persons to resolve health problems that disproportionately affect SGM persons and related health disparities.
