In order to provide basic data for developing problematic drinking prevention program through the investigation of the knowledge and attitude on drinking of the elementary students, a survey was conducted covering 630 fourth, fifth, and sixth graders in 5 elementary schools, in Seoul. Data was collected by using structured questionnaire. The results of the survey analysis were as follows : 1. Among the students under inquiry, $55.4\%$ answered they had the experience of drinking and $1.9\%$ of them enjoy the drinking. 2. The degree of drinking-related knowledge of respondents were 8.41point with the highest score being 13. The score were significantly higher in the students with good school record and higher mothers' educational level than those of other group. 3. With respect to the attitude of students toward adults' drinking, $54.8\%$ responded that inebriated adults in the bus or subway cause inconvenience to others. Students who maintain good school grades, are satisfied with school lives, whose fathers have high educational background or who receive great attention from parents showed more negative and strict attitude toward adults' intoxicated appearance. Concerning the drinking at home, $51.6\%$ of respondents said they hope that adults do not drink at home. Students who have experience of drinking and whose parents drink revealed more generous attitude toward adults' drinking at home than those who do not. With regard to the drinking of friends or senior students, $55.0\%$ of students said they try to stop the drinking. Respondents with no experience of drinking were more generous toward the drinking of friends and colleagues than those who drank before. Students who are in low graded. maintain high school marks, face no problems in school life or receive great attention from parents demonstrated greater disapproval of drinking. Most respondents$(65.3\%)$ said they were not interested in the scene of drinking in mass media. Those having experience of drinking or parents who drink showed more tolerant attitude toward drinking in mass media than those who do not. Students who are in low grades, face many problems in school life or receive small attention from parents showed greater tendency to find the scene of drinking attractive. 4. The more knowledge they get, the more rigid view they had in drinking.

Purpose: This study was conducted to examine the knowledge level and assessment experience of nurses in regards to delirium, and to utilize the study results as baseline data for planning delirium education programs for nurses. Methods: Subjects were 465 nurses who were working in a general hospital. A 'delirium related knowledge and assessment experience' questionnaire was used to collect data. Results: Knowledge levels regarding delirium averaged 70 out of 100, and at each domain, they scored 87 for etiology of delirium, 62 for symptoms, and 69 for nursing management. The knowledge level of delirium was significantly different according to educational level (F=3.851, p=.022), past education related to geriatrics(t=2.471, p=.014), and awareness of need for in-service education on geriatric nursing(F=2.663, p=.032). About 85% of nurses had past experience of dealing with delirious patients and only 7.7% of nurses used delirious state assessment tools. Conclusion: According to the above results, it is necessary, not only to provide delirium related educational programs for nurses, but also to emphasize the usefulness of applying the assessment tool.
The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of empathy in relation to contact experience of the elderly and their knowledge level of ageing. For this study data was collected from 20th Dec. to 30th of Dec. 2018 355 university students from D university in J. province were surveyed. Data was analysis by using reliability test, correlation analysis, hierarchical multiful regression analysis. The statistical significance of the mediating effects was confirmed by Sobel's verification. The results of the analysis showed that the partial mediation effect of empathy was verified with regard to the relationship between elderly contact experience and discrimination of elderly people. In addition, the partial mediation effect of empathy was verified between level of aging knowledge and the perception of elderly discrimination. The results of this study confirmed the necessity of developing practical education and training programs to improve the level of aging knowledge and to increase contact experience with elderly people. There is also a need to enhance empathy in order to improve the awareness of discrimination against elderly people in health and welfare departments among university students.
Purpose: The purpose of this qualitative study is to investigate the nature of tacit nursing knowledge practiced in the clinical field in Korea using hybrid models, and to clarify the definitions and attributes of the concept. Methods: The definition and nature of tacit nursing knowledge, obtained through a review of the extensive literature at the theoretical stage of the research, and the analysis of the in-depth interview data conducted by the career nurses in the fieldwork stage, are compared and analyzed. Results: The tacit nursing knowledge was found in three dimensions as knowledge related to the person, the clinical situation work context, the self, the others, and the task. The tacit nursing knowledge was defined as personal nursing knowledge and artistic skills that show up as unconscious behavior patterns, learned informally, and internalizedthrough repeated clinical practice experience based on professional nursing knowledge. Conclusion: Tacit nursing knowledge has been widely used in clinical practice and has been shown to have a great impact, directly or indirectly, on clinical nursing. Therefore, individual and organizational efforts are needed for validation and clarification using the generation, sharing, collection, and peer review of sound implicit nursing knowledge to ensure that it is properly applied.
Purpose: This study aims to examine customer experience toward repurchase intention in offline and online stores and discuss customer satisfaction as a mediator variable. Research design, data, and methodology: This study investigates customer experience that consists of product, customer service, staff service, shopping environment and shopping procedure toward customer satisfaction using Regression Linear. This study also measures customer satisfaction as a mediated variable in the relationship between customer experience and repurchase intention using Sobel Test. Results: Almost all of the customer experience hypothesis is significant toward customer satisfaction, shopping process experience in the context of the online channel to customer satisfaction is not significant. We also found that customer satisfaction can be mediated variable in customer experience toward repurchase intention. Conclusions: Retails who want to make customers feel satisfied to have to make sure that have good resources in improving the product, the customer service is easy to contact to find the solution over customer problem in purchasing product, also develop the staff member skill in functional product knowledge, presentations, and communicating with customers online or offline, the retailer has to create enjoyment and pleasurable customer emotion through the shopping environment and also give seamless shopping experience to their customer in two-channel.
This study was conducted to identify an initial clinical experience of EMT students, so to better understand their' experience in clinical training. The subjects were 30 EMT students of C department of Emergency Medical technology in C city, who were demonstrating at the emergency room in C, T, S, W city. This study was approached by phenomenological method, collected data were analyzed by Colaizzi's method. the results were as a follows. From the protocol, significant statements were organized into 34 formulated meanings. from the formulated meanings, 21themes were identified, organized into 8 theme clusters, and then categories. EMT students got experienced 'tension resulting from new situation', 'fear in contacting with patients', 'lack of knowledge and skill', 'confidence feeling from being adapted', 'facing up to Paramedic role', 'experience of death' and 'stress'. The results of this study are to use as basic data for students attending clinical experience for the first time.
This study was performed to investigate the effect of food and nutrition label education on the perception and utilization of nutrition labels on food packaging, and to suggest the importance and necessity of food and nutrition label education in the school curriculum. 811 junior-high school students participated in this study and completed self-administered questionnaires regarding general characteristics, and the perception and utilization of nutrition labels. Knowledge of nutrition labels was tested by 13 questions on the questionnaire. Data was analyzed (using SAS package program) based on the educational experience with nutrition labels. Significant differences in each variable were tested using the $X^2$-test and t-test. Students who had learned about the food and nutrition labeling system had more knowledge of nutrition labels and were more likely to check the nutrition label before purchasing food. In addition, students who had been educated about food and nutrition labels in the school curriculum had a significantly higher understanding and recognition of the nutrition label system. These results suggest that education concerning the food and nutrition label system increased the students' interest in nutrition labels and helped them choose healthy food. Therefore, it is necessary to include an education program about food and nutrition labels in the school curriculum to help students use label information and make healthy dietary choices.
This study introduces the construct of group efficacy and combines the construct with the Adaptive Structuration Theory(AST) and user satisfaction framework. Job efficacy and IT efficacy identified as the dimensions of group efficacy are hypothesized to influence faithfulness of appropriation and consensus on appropriation. and then the user satisfaction of knowledge management systems(KMS). Data were collected through a survey of respondents who have the experience of using KMS, and analyzed by using structural equations modelling. The major findings of this study are as follows: First, job efficacy was found to have a positive influence on consensus on appropriation and user satisfaction. Second, IT efficacy was found to have a positive effect on faithfulness of appropriation and consensus on appropriation. Third, faithfulness of appropriation was found to have a positive influence on consensus on appropriation and user satisfaction. Implications of these findings are discussed for researchers and practitioners.
This study introduces cognitive constructivism in reference to its emergence in the development of medical education. The main concepts of cognitive constructivism as they relate to knowledge construction and the learner's process were described, and cognitive constructivism as a learning theory was examined in its capacity to help interpret the phenomenon of medical education. Piaget's theory of cognitive constructivism and Ausubel's meaningful learning theory were applied in an attempt to explore the role of students and educators, curriculum, and teaching and learning in medical education from a cognitive constructivist perspective. When faced with new information, learners compare it with the existing schema to understand, and in order to resolve conflicts caused by inconsistencies in the information, learners incorporate assimilation and accommodation to help maintain equilibration. Therefore, instructors must meaningfully connect new content to the learner's existing schema and make endless efforts to satisfy learners' intellectual curiosity. The basic premises of medical education content is a suitable subject of meaningful learning. A learner who already possesses well-structured knowledge is likely to experience meaningful learning and a richer intellectual experience. Therefore, it is necessary to organize the curriculum strategically and elaborately so that learners can have an improved and effective learning experience.
In this study, we created, implemented, and evaluated the impact of proportional reasoning authentic investigative activities on the mathematical content and pedagogical knowledge and attitudes of pre-service elementary and middle school mathematics teachers. For this purpose, a special teaching model was developed, implemented, and tested as part of the pre-service mathematics teacher training programs conducted in Israeli teacher colleges. The model was developed following pilot studies investigating the change in mathematical and pedagogical knowledge of pre- and in-service mathematics teachers, due to experience in authentic proportional reasoning activities. The conclusion of the study is that application of the model, through which the pre-service teachers gain experience and are exposed to authentic proportional reasoning activities with incorporation of theory (reading and analyzing relevant research reports) and practice, leads to a significant positive change in the pre-service teachers' mathematical content and pedagogical knowledge. In addition, improvement occurred in their attitudes and beliefs towards learning and teaching mathematics in general, and ratio and proportion in particular.
