  • Many organizations are implementing Knowledge Management(KM) technologies to promote knowledge sharing. An extensive review of recent articles and journals about such implementations reveals that one of the main barriers to implementation of KM technology is the absence of an organizational culture that supports knowledge sharing. The purpose of this research is to explore the possible relationship between the successful implementation of knowledge management technology and specific organizational culture attributes. The Organizational Culture Profile(OCP) and the Knowledge Management Technology Profile(KMTP) instruments were used to identify and rank the most critical organizational culture attributes and KM technology implementation successes. Data were collected from twenty six US organizations involved in a KM efforts.

  • The purpose of this research is to explore the possible relationship between the successful implementation of knowledge management technology and specific organizational culture orientations. Data used to test hypothesis derived for this research were obtained from 227 responders from the Organizational Culture Profile (OCP) survey instruments and 67 responders from the Knowledge Management Technology Profile (KMTP) survey instruments representing 26 separate organizations. The OCP provides a profile of an organization's culture orientations while the KMTP provides a profile of the organization's degree of the KM technology implementation success. The results of this research suggests that employees of organization which are more successful in implementing KM technology have identified organizational cultures that embody a healthy mixture of both production-oriented and people-oriented attributes indicative of the culture orientation.

  • Objectives: This study aims to provide fundamental data on seeking more effective programs for metabolic syndrome patients' oral health by researching their knowledge, attitude and behaviors on oral health and considering the effects each factor has on the oral health impact profile. Methods: The research was conducted on 155 patients with metabolic syndrome who visited the metabolic syndrome center of S district between July $19^{th}$, 2016 and August 27th, 2016. Results: When the subjects had experiences of oral treatment within the past year, which indicated lower quality of life in relation to oral health. Oral health knowledge had a positive correlation with oral health attitude (0.241) and oral health behaviors (0.362), had a negative correlation with oral health impact profile (-0.283). Oral health attitude showed a positive correlation with oral health behaviors (0.476) (p<0.001). Conclusions: By conducting a oral health promotion business among metabolic syndrome patients including a oral care and treatment program which aim to enhance the oral knowledge, attitude and behaviors and comprehensively manage the oral health education program, it is expected that their quality of life related to oral health could be further improved.

  • This paper presents an undergraduate curriculum flowchart model for industrial engineering. Because Industrial Engineering deals with wider categories today than before, the coherent curriculum flowchart design is very difficult. We propose an effective approach using knowledge profile analysis for each course.

  • This paper proposes how to build an expert profile database in KMS, which provides the information of expertise that each expert possesses in the organization. To manage tacit knowledge in a knowledge management system, recent researches in this field have shown that it is more applicable in many ways to provide expert search mechanisms in KMS to pinpoint experts in the organizations with searched expertise so that users can contact them for help. In this paper, we develop a framework to automate expert classification using a text categorization technique called Vector Space Model, through which an expert database composed of all the compiled profile information is built. This approach minimizes the maintenance cost of manual expert profiling while eliminating the possibility of incorrectness and obsolescence resulted from subjective manual processing. Also, we define the structure of expertise so that we can implement the expert classification framework to build an expert database in KMS. The developed prototype system, "Knowledge Portal for Researchers in Science and Technology," is introduced to show the applicability of the proposed framework.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the factors influencing Health Promotion Lifestyle Profile of women college students. Methods: The sample consisted of 248 women college students in P city. Self report questionnaires were used to measure the variables. In data analysis, SPSSWIN 20.0 program was utilized for descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and regression analysis. Results: The mean score for Health Promotion Lifestyle Profile was 2.27. In the the highest subcategories, the highest degree of performance was interpersonal relationships and the lowest degree was health responsibility. Health Promotion Lifestyle Profile was significantly different according to religion (F=3.48, p=.017), economic state(F=3.01,p=.031), perceived health state(F=8.07, p<.001), exercise frequency (F=16.02, p<.001), and self-rated knowledge about health (F=21.08, p<.001). In regression of analysis, perceived health state, exercise frequency, and self-rated knowledge about health were significant predictors explaining 30.5%. Conclusion: This study suggests that perceived health state, exercise frequency, and self-rated knowledge about health are significantly influencing factors in Health Promotion Lifestyle Profile in women college students. Therefore, the strategies of nursing intervention which improve these variables must be developed for women college students.

The results are used daily in prevention knowledge and everyday knowledge, and how to use knowledge of dental supplies highly subjective feel the higher quality of lift. And with medical knowledge and experience, acquired knowledge OHIP higher the lower the quality of lift according to the subjective feel. Meanwhile, one of the whitening treatment aesthetic appreciation treatment higher subjective knowledge feel the higher quality of life. This means that knowledge of preventive oral health and aesthetic impart is expected to affect the index.

  • This paper uses genetic algorithm (GA) for optimal control. GA can find optimal control profile, but the profile may be oscillating feature. To make profile smooth, fuzzy genetic algorithm (FGA) is proposed. GA with fuzzy logic techniques for optimal control can make optimal control profile smooth. We describe the Fuzzy Genetic Algorithm that uses a fuzzy knowledge based system to control GA search. Result from the simulation example shows that GA can find optimal control profile and FGA makes a performance improvement over a simple GA.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop an assessment scale of the profile of kindergarten teachers. The subjects were 287 kindergarten teachers. Data were collected from June to September in 1997. Construct validity and reliability were analyzed using factor analysis and Cronbach Coefficient Alpha. Factors were extracted in the order of: characteristic traits, professional knowledge, specialized function, knowledge of liberal arts, cognizance of professionalism, and occupational consciousness. The Cronbach Coefficient Alpha of the selected 30-item assessment scale was .9068.
