유치원교사와 초등교사의 교사목표 프로파일에 따른 교사효능감, 직업만 족도, 심리적 안녕감 비교: 잠재프로파일분석을 중심으로 (Relations Between Goal-Orientation Profiles and Teacher Efficacy, Psychological Well-Being, and Job Satisfaction in Early Childhood and Elementary School Teachers: Using Latent Profile Analysis)

  • Objective: This study aimed to identify profiles based on early childhood and elementary school teachers' goal orientations and to examine differences in teacher efficacy, psychological wellbeing, and job satisfaction among these profile groups. Methods: Data were collected through a teacher questionnaire. The teacher goal-orientation scale consisted of six sub-dimensions: growth, leisure, wealth, relationship, promotion, and social contribution. Data were analyzed using latent profile analyses. Results: Latent profile analyses revealed three distinct profile groups: one group characterized by higher scores across all six dimensions (balanced-goal-orientation group); another characterized by lower scores on all six dimensions, with a relatively higher score on the relationship dimension (relationship-goal-oriented group); another one characterized by lower scores on all dimensions except the leisure goal (leisure-goal-oriented group). MANOVA showed that the balanced-goalorientation group was significantly higher in total years of teaching, educational attainment, and age, compared to the leisure-goal-oriented group. In regression analyses, when controlling for educational attainment, teacher types (kindergarten vs. elementary school) did not significantly predict each of the dummy-coded profile groups (0 = no, 1 = yes). When taking into account teachers' age and educational attainment, belonging to the balanced-goal-orientation group was consistently associated with higher levels of teacher efficacy, job satisfaction, and psychological well-being, whereas the opposite pattern was observed in leisure-goal-oriented group. Conclusion: These findings imply that it is crucial to help pre- and in-service kindergarten and elementary school teachers foster a balance between different types of goals, which would ultimately strengthen and stabilize the supply of a teaching force and the provision of a better education.

유치원 교육실습에서 교육일기 쓰기가 예비유아교사의 교사 효능감, 교육신념 및 교사가 느끼는 조직건강에 미치는 효과 (An Effects of Student-teaching in Kindergarten through Educational Diary on Pre-service Teacher Efficacy, Teacher's Educational Belief and Organizational Health)

  • 본 연구는 유치원 교육실습에서 피드백이 주어지지 않는 교육일기 쓰기가 예비유아교사들의 교사효능감, 교육신념, 그리고 그들이 느끼는 실습유치원의 조직건강에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 확인하는데 목적이 있었다. 이를 위해 충남의 한 4년제 대학 유아교육과 4학년 34명을 대상으로, 이질통제집단전후검사 설계 방식에 의해 실험이 이루어졌고, 자료에 따라 $x^2$분석과 t-검증을 하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 교육실습 일기 쓰기가 교사효능감에는 긍정적인 영향을 주었다. 둘째, 교사신념에는 유의한 영향을 주지 못하였다. 셋째, 예비교사들이 느낀 실습학교의 조직건강에도 유의한 영향을 주지 못하였다. 본 연구의 의의는 실습 지도교사의 피드백이 기본 전제 조건인 반성적 저널쓰기를 실용성 차원에서 실습일기 쓰기로 대체할 수 있다는데 있다. 지도교사의 피드백이 없이 단지 교육 실습일기 쓰기만으로도 교사효능감은 증진된다는 것이다.

유아교육기관 유형에 따른 교사.또래관계 및 아동 발달에 관한 연구 (A Study on Teacher and Peer Relationships and Child development in Kindergarten and Childcare Center)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore leacher and peer relationships and child development in two types of early childhood program; halfway kindergarten and full-day childcare. The subjects were 90 four and half year old children and their teachers enrolled in 10 kindergartens and 20 childcare centers in Seoul. Each teacher evaluated her children with six scales developed by NICHD Early Child Care Research Network(1996); child-leacher relationship, peer relationship, social competence, adaptive language, behavior characteristics, and behavior problems. The data were analyzed by ANOVA. The results of this study were as follows: First, the girls in both programs had closer relationship with their teachers than the boys. The boys in the daycare were less dependent than those of kinder; on the other hand, the girls in the daycare were more dependent than those of kinder. Second, there was no significant difference in peer relationship between the children in both centers. Third, the girls of both centers scored higher than the boys in social competence. Fourth, in the child's adaptive language, both boys and girls were well developed, but girls were higher than boys, especially in kinder Fifth, the children in both centers behaved attentively in the groups, but in particular, the girths were more attentive. Finally, most of children were received low scores in the behavior problem scale.

유아교사의 보육교사에 대한 이미지 유형 분석 : Q-방법론적 접근 (Analysis of the Types of Images Early Childhood Teachers have about Kindergarten Teachers : Employing Q-methodological Approach)

  • 본 연구는 보육교사에 대한 유아교사들의 인식유형을 심층적으로 알아봄으로써 기존 조사연구에서 드러나지 않았던 유아교사의 구체적이고 주관적인 의견을 바탕으로 바람직한 보육교사상을 정립하고 교사교육의 방향을 설정하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 유아교사들이 인식하고 있는 보육교사의 이미지 유형 및 유형별 특성을 알아보기 위하여 Q-방법론을 사용하였다. 선행연구결과에서 나타난 보육교사의 이미지를 바탕으로 총 310개의 Q-모집단을 구성하였으며, 빈도가 높은 순서대로 48개의 Q-표본을 선정하였다. 유치원 교사 20명, 보육교사 20명을 대상으로 보육교사에 대해 인식하고 있는 이미지를 9단계로 Q-분류하도록 하고, 그 자료를 PASW 18.0을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 유아교사들의 보육교사에 대한 이미지는 4개의 유형으로 분류되었으며, 각 유형을 '실천적-교수활동적 교사형', '부정적-체제비판형 교사형', '긍정적-인성적 교사형', '중립 적-정서적 교사형'으로 명명하여 제시하였다.

유아의 공격성에 대한 개인적 요인과 환경적 요인간의 구조적 관계: 유아의 부정적 정서성과 정서조절, 어머니의 거부적 양육행동, 교사-유아 간 갈등을 중심으로 (The Structural Relationships of Personal and Environmental Factors on Child Aggression: Focusing on Child Negative Emotionality and Emotion Regulation, Mother Rejective Parenting, and Teacher-Child Conflict)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to explore the structural relationships of child negative emotionality, mother rejective parenting, teacher-child conflict, and child emotion regulation on child aggression. Methods: The participants in this study were 3- to 5-year-old kindergarten children, their mothers, and their teachers (all of whom lived in Busan). The data were analyzed using PASW Statistics 18.0 and AMOS 21.0. For data analysis, frequency, Cronbach's alphas, Pearson's correlation coefficients, SEM were used. Results: First, mother rejective parenting had an indirect effect on child aggression through child emotion regulation. Second, teacher-child conflict had a direct effect on child aggression and had an indirect effect on child aggression through child emotion regulation. Third, child negative emotionality had an indirect effect on child aggression through mother rejective parenting and teacher-child conflict and child emotion regulation. Conclusion: These finding suggest the importance of mediating effect of mother rejective parenting, teacher-child conflict and child emotion regulation between child negative emotionality and aggression.

교사의 창의적 인성과 자기효능감이 유아의 창의성 증진을 위한 교사 역할에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Teachers' Creative personality and Self-efficacy on Their Role for Young Children's Creativity Improvement)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of teachers' creative personality and self-efficacy on their role for young children's creativity improvement. The subjects were 269 teachers who were working at the public or private kindergartens. Measurements consisted of teachers' creativity personality(Park & You, 2000), self-efficacy(Lim, 1999), and teachers' role for young children's creativity improvement(Guliford, 1956). The data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Duncan's post-analysis, Pearson's correlation, hierarchical regression using SPSS 11.0 Program. The results of this research are as follows: first, teachers' creativity personality, teacher's self-efficacy on self-regulation, and the teacher's role for children's creativity improvement had significant differences according to teachers' general background. Second, it appeared that teacher's creativity personality and self-efficacy meaningfully influenced the teacher's role for children's creativity improvement. Teacher's curiosity, and self-efficacy on self-regulation affects teacher's role in improving children's immersion/ durability, flexibility and delicacy.

영유아-교사 애착에 관한 국내 연구 동향 : 1993년-2010년 (A Content Analysis of Research on Infant/Child-Teacher Attachment in Korea : 1993-2010)

  • The number of young children who attend daycare center, preschool or kindergarten and are taken care of by teachers during a day has skyrocketed in Korea. The purpose of this study was to analyze the contents of the research on infant/child-teacher attachment in Korea. Thirty five studies (5 doctoral dissertations, 24 masters' theses, and 6 academic journal articles) published from 1993 to 2010 were analyzed in the matter of the publication period, the related variables, and methodology for analyzing the data. The findings are as follows: 1) More than two-thirds of the research were from masters' theses. The number of studies conducted in the late 2000s doubled compared to that in the 1990s. 2) Each study on infant/child-teacher attachment had at least one related variable regarding social, emotional, cognitive or physical development, but not language. The studies on infant/child-teacher attachment related to social development have rapidly increased in the late 2000s. 3) The majority of studies were conducted using quantitative analyses and Attachment Q-set version 3.0. Difference analysis and relational analysis were most frequently used in many studies. There was only one study which was analysed with the advanced statistical methodology. The implication for a future study was also discussed.

교사이미지와 교육실습에 대한 인식이 예비유아교사의 교육실습만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Teacher's Image and Recognition of Teaching Practice for Student Teacher's Practicum Satisfaction)

  • This research has an objective of investigating the challenges that student teachers encounter during practicum, the difference between teachers' image based on sociodemographic variables, recognition and satisfaction for practicum, and the effect of teachers' image and practicum experience on the satisfaction for the practicum. The participants of this study included 500 student teachers who enrolled in the department of early childhood education in a 2 or 3-year college or a 4-year university and completed practicum in the Chungcheong area. The instruments for this study were Teacher's Image Scale, Practicum Experience Scale, Practicum Satisfaction Scale and a questionnaire for sociodemographic variables. The results were as follows: First, the highest level of teachers' image was obtained for student teachers enrolled in a 2-year college, completed practicum in large cities and finished practicum at an institution with a size of 3-6 classes. Also, the highest level of 'recognition for practicum' of student teachers was observed when they were instructed by a guidance teacher with a degree from a graduate school and with a first degree certification in public kindergarten. Second, the satisfaction for practicum of student teachers was mostly affected by' the atmosphere of the practice institutions', while personality affected the teachers' image.

보육교사의 교사효능감과 교사 - 유아관계가 유아의 보육시설 적응에 미치는 영향 - (Effects of Childcare Teacher's Self-Efficacy and Teacher - Child Relationship on Young Children's Adjustment to Childcare Centers -)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of teachers' self-efficacy and teacher-child relationship on young children's adaptation to childcare centers, and to examine the interaction effects of teachers' self-efficacy and teacher-child relationship on young children's adjustment to childcare centers. The subjects of this study were 360, three- to four-year-old who attended childcare centers located in Chungbuk province and their 72 teachers. The results of this research indicated that the main effect of teachers' self-efficacy and the main effects of familiarity and conflicts between teachers and children on young children's adjustment to childcare centers were significant. The interaction effects of teachers' general efficacy and conflicts or familiarity between teachers and children on young children's adjustment to childcare centers were also significant.

직장어린이집 교사헌신과 교사효능감과의 관계 (A Relationship between Teacher Commitment and Teacher Efficacy in Workplace Child-Care Center)

  • 본 연구는 직장어린이집 교사들을 대상으로 교사헌신의 차이를 알아보고, 교사헌신과 교사효능감과의 관계를 밝히는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 경기도 내에 소재한 직장어린이집 교사 176명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였으며 일원분산분석(ANOVA), Scheff$\acute{e}$ 사후검증, Pearson상관분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 교사헌신과 교사효능감은 높은 정적상관을 보였다. 직장어린이집 교사의 교사헌신은 높은 수준으로 나타났으며 영유아에 대한 헌신이 가장 높게 나타났다. 또한 교사의 학력과 경력 및 담당학급 영유아의 연령과 기관의 전체 교사 수에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었다. 본 연구는 직장어린이집 교사의 내적 특성으로서 교사헌신을 지원할 수 있는 방안 마련의 기초자료를 제공하였다는데 의의가 있으며, 추후에는 유치원 및 어린이집 유형에 따른 교사헌신과 효능감을 연계지어 연구해 볼 필요가 있을 것이다.
