The purpose of this study was to investigate gather as decoration techniques of clothes. In this study, we defined 21st century as the modern fashion. And analyzed design that applied gather concerned with Milan, New York, London, Paris, Tokyo Woman's Collections. Data were used from Fashion News and Gap Press Magazine (2001-2004). The results of this study were as follows: 1. Gather was the most original techniques among decoration techniques of clothes and formed three-dimensional space. 2. There were many kinds of gather such as cluster gather, all gather, shirring, smoking, frill, flounce, ruffle. and it gave a different impression with Fabrics, cutting method, sewing method, parts that were used. 3. Gather had practical functions providing enough space in activity and was presented as new shape by three-dimension body motion when it was put on. 4. After analyzing design that applied gather showed in collections, there were various appearance according to designer's sensitivity.

Cloud computing is a widely used technology that has changed the way people and organizations store and access information. This technology is quite versatile, which is why extensive amounts of data can be stored in the cloud. Furthermore, businesses can access various services over the cloud without having to install applications. However, the cloud computing services are provided over a public domain, which means that both trusted and non-trusted users can access the services. Though there are several advantages of cloud computing services, especially to business owners, various challenges are also posed in terms of the privacy and security of information and online services. A kind of threat that is widely faced in the cloud environment is the on/off attack. In this kind of attack, a few entities exhibit proper behavior for a given time period to develop a highly a positive reputation and gather trust, after which they exhibit deception. A viable solution is provided by the given trust model for preventing the attacks. This method works by providing effective security to the cloud services by identifying malicious and inappropriate behaviors through the application of trust algorithms that can identify on-off attacks.

The study of English words in terms of etymology has a long history, going back over 110 years since Murray et al. (1884). Scholars have therefore had lots of time to gather all kind of information on the origin of English words. In fact, Modern English is the product of a long and complex process of historical developments from a great diversity of sources. The origins and development of English words meaning ‘a vessel for washing, a bath or a toilet’ are traced from Old English to the twentieth century in this paper in terms of the semantic and/or conceptual categories of the words with their particular senses. We conclude this paper with a brief discussion of how the teaching of English words can give some feedback to both teachers and students under the circumstances of English education in Korea and/or how we come to a better understanding of this charming field of English etymology in its own right.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of attributes of salespersons working at apparel store on relationship with consumers, to gather information what kind of attributes of salespersons get preference to consumer, and to conclude a certain relationship in the result coming from both attributes of salespersons and degree of relationship quality. The questionnaire survey was carried out 571 20's & 30's men and women living around Seoul and Kyong-gi province areas during July in 200l. SAS and AMOS program were used to analyze gathered data. The results of this study were as follows. First, in the case of apparel product, construction and long-term maintenance of relationship with consumers were very essential to gain profit in the future. Second, attributes of salespersons seemed to play an important role on constructing and maintaining long-term relationship with consumers. Third, external attributes like outward appearance do not affect to degree of relationship quality with consumer. rather, internal attributes - expertise, similarity, customer orientation, ethics and likeability, influence on the degree of relationship quality.

Neural Networks are widely used for huge variety of tasks solution. Machine Learning methods are used also for signal and time series analysis, including electrocardiograms. Contemporary wearable devices, both medical and non-medical type like smart watch, allow to gather the data in real time uninterruptedly. This allows us to transfer these data for analysis or make an analysis on the device, and thus provide preliminary diagnosis, or at least fix some serious deviations. Different methods are being used for this kind of analysis, ranging from medical-oriented using distinctive features of the signal to machine learning and deep learning approaches. Here we will demonstrate a neural network-based approach to this task by building an ensemble of 1D CNN classifiers and a final classifier of selection using logistic regression, random forest or support vector machine, and make the conclusions of the comparison with other approaches.

Since opening of the high speed railroad in Korea, service result of the last 5 years is commandable. About 236million passengers had taken KTX until February 2009, and number of trains in service per day during week-end increased from 128 to 181, meaning that it's grown about 40%. And MKBSF, one of indicators of the high speed railroad's reliability, registered 680,469Km at the end of the year 2008, witch is 6 times more than 121,000Km, contract base when KTX was introduced. With increasing number of trains in service, not only passengers use the high speed railroad more frequently, but also we assure its reliability through maintenance based on reliability. And actually we gather information concerning all kind of defects occurred during train circulation and then, analyse them, and eradicate their causes in order to improve the high speed railroad's reliability. This paper describes a verification test process to analyse causes of defective function about train's traction.

There is explosive increase of traffic with economic growth and high level of civilization, and the increase causes so many complicated traffic problems. To solve these problem, the best way is expansion of road. bridges and some kind of traffic establishments. But this way need so many investment of time and money. So We must use the bounded roads and bounded establishments very effective way. To do so we have to gather the information about the road, vehicles, and etc. In this study, I will introduce you the way of gathering the information about vehicles, and transferring database server.

This paper discusses some practical problems of the determination of ship wave resistance from flow calculation and the model test. there are so many kind of CFD program as FLUENT, WAVIS, SHIPFLOW, COMET etc. for finding optimized hull. we should know how much percent we trust the program. so if we gather computed values of the wave resistance we'll able to get more accurated values of presumptive.

Recommender systems have been widely advocated as a way of coping with the problem of information overload in e-business environment. Most of the existing recommender systems focused on what kind of items to recommend, although when to recommend to the target customer considering their context is an important issue. Even right item might be a spam advertisement or wrong recommendation for the customer if it can not be recommended at the right context. It is particularly important for recommendations where the user's context is changing rapidly, such as in both handheld and ubiquitous computing environment. Therefore, we propose CARS (Context-Aware Recommender System) based on CBR and context-awareness for ubiquitous computing environment. CBR is used to generate a target customer class and proper context. Context-awareness is used to gather suer context information from sensors, networks, device status, user profiles, and other sources. An illustrative case example is suggested to explain the procedure of CARS.

Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) is one of the important components to form a smart-gird, which is an advanced power system by combining the power system with the communication systems. This AMI makes it possible to exchange information between operators and consumers for the efficient and reliable operation of the power system through a smart meter or a In-Home Display. However, according to the increase of the demanded information such as the power quality, the accurate load-profile, and the billing data to help customers manage their power consumption, it is necessary to gather more accurate analytical data from each house appliances and transfer it to the smart meter for synthesizing the information and controlling each loads. In this paper, the development of the wireless data acquisition device for the individual load data metering, which is connected with the smart meter for advanced functions, is proposed. AVR, a kind of microcontroller, and Bluetooth are used and integrated into the proposed the wireless data acquisition device to transmit the detailed power data (voltage and current) to the smart meter. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed system, a hardware experiment is carried out including the confirmation of the possibility for providing the more various information by applying analysis algorithms to the obtained data. Also, the application structure of the wireless data acquisition device to gather the data from the various house appliances is presented.
