  • It is specified in KCI code that long-tenn deflection shall be determined by multiplying the immediate deflection by KCI code multiplier, unless it is obtained by a more comprehensive analysis. Therefore, in this study, the estimation method of long-term deflection by KCI code multiplier is known resonable by comparing analysis results using KCI code multiplier and AEMM.

  • 본 논문에서는 산성수를 전기분해하여 알칼리 이온수를 생성하는 정수 시스템을 제안하였다. 시스템은 크게 전해조, 냉각 유닛, 콤프레서, 정수?터 등으로 구성되어 있다. 특히 알칼리이온수를 생성하기 위해서는 전기분해를 위한 전력변환 회로가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 알칼리이온수기를 위한 전해조 구동회로를 PSIM을 통한 검증 하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to assess economic effects for a new technology-based ventilation system. The study has been performed using LCC technique for the economic analysis. Data for LCC analysis are collected from estimation and interview of estimators and maintenance experts of buildings. Based on the LCC analysis, the economic effect of a new technology-based ventilation system has been predicted as follows: for the investment during 15 years of study period, (1) return rate for the investment is 9.3 times. (2) 7.3% of LCC saving is predicted.

  • This paper reports some experimental results in high speed rigid tapping of magnesium alloy(AZ91D). M3 spiral tap and high speed spindle tapping center of gantry type were used in experiments and thrust forces were measured. The experimental results indicate that the thrust forces are proportional to the spindle speed and depth of cut. The thrust forces increase as the depth of cut increases. M3 Tapping was achieved at the spindle speed of 10,000rpm, depth of cut of 1.5D and total stroke of 32mm.

  • This paper reports a kinematic analysis and experimental results for the polishing process of G7 LCD glass. A kinematic analysis for the relative motion of the upper plate and lower plate has been done and computer simulation has been programmed. A series of polishing experiments has also been carried out and compared with analytical data. The experimental results agreed well with analytical ones. The experimental results indicate that the polishing removal is proportional to the relative speed and pressure.

  • This paper reports some experimental results of cylindrical external grinding using CBN wheels. Many experimental studies for surface grinding have been done, but not for the cylindrical grinding due to the difficulty of grinding force measurement. In this paper a new experimental device has been proposed for the grinding force measurement in cylindrical grinding. The cylindrical grinding experiments were carried out at various grinding conditions with several CBN grinding wheels. The experimental results indicate that the CBN wheels with smaller grains result in the higher grinding forces in both SCM415 and STD11 workpieces. The grinding forces of all wheels were proportional to the infeed speeds and the difference of each wheels was prominent at high infeed speed for SCM415.

  • A high ductile fiber reinforced mortar has been developed by employing micromechanics-based design procedure. Micromechanical analysis was initially performed to properly select water-cement ratio, and then optimal mixture proportion was determined based on workability considerations, including desirable fiber dispersion without segregation. Subsequent direct tensile tests revealed that the fiber reinforced mortar exhibited high ductile uniaxial tension property, represented by $1.8\%$ strain capacity, which is around 100 times the strain capacity of normal concrete.
