Ji-San, the founder of HyungSang medicine, emphasized food intake and detoxification by stating, "Korean medicine begins with detoxification." Toxin accumulates in one's body unless the internal and external conditions stay in their harmony. The accumulation of toxin is also caused by western medication or one-sided diet, and detoxification should be considered in those cases. HwangRyunHaeDok-Tang reduces fire and heat, and the lesion is likely to locate in the upper body. BangPoongTongSung-San can be used for systemic disease. IkWoon-San also reduces fire and heat but mainly focuses on promoting urination. InSamPaeDok-San has an effect of curing the external symptoms of SangHan(傷寒), in addition to detoxification. SeoGakJiHwang-Tang, SoDok-Eum, and SeoGakSoDok-Eum can resolve the heat-toxin when it is located on the surface. SibJeonDaeBo-Tang enhances the detoxifying function of human body. GhamDu-Tang and JaGeum-Jung have a general effect on detoxification.

이 연구의 목적은 치주질환에 이환된 성견의 치근을 활택술 후 발치와에 이식하였을 때 calcium sulfate 골이식이 치근흡수와 치근유착을 지연시키는가를 알아보고자 하는 것이다.성견의 제2, 제3 소구치 주위의 치조골을 제거하여 분지부를 노출시키고, 8주간 교정사를 결찰하여 실험적 만성치주염을 유발하였다. 치관을 제거하고, 치근을 반분하고, 활택한 후 발치하였다. 발치된 치근을 둘로 나누어 각각을 우측에는 calcium sulfate와 함께, 좌측에는 이식재 없이 이식하였다. 12주간의 치유 후 조직학적으로 관찰하였다. 대조군에서는 흠의 치관쪽으로 치근흡수와 치근유착이 일어났고, 실험군에서는 성견 결합조직과 calcium sulfate가 위치하였던 공간이 관찰 되었고 치근흡수는 지연되었다. 이 연구에 나타난 바에 의하면, 치근 이식시 calcium sulfate 의 사용은 치조골로부터의 육아조직을 배제하고 치근흡수와 치근유착을 지연할 수 있는 것으로 생각된다.

Although permeating injection is ideal for grouting reservoir embankments, it is usually combined with fracturing injection for grouting, which can disturb the original soil. Compaction with low expansive pressure followed by grout injection can overcome this problem. An expansive compaction (EC) packer was developed in this work to easily apply sequential injection and compaction at a work site. Furthermore, to achieve compaction around the grouting hole, a mixture of expansive admixtures and grout was injected with the EC packer to trigger an increase in volume of the grout material. This work verifies the compaction effect of the EC packer and the expansive admixture. It reports the concepts of the EC packer, the range of expansive compaction, the effectiveness of injection, and the results of indoor tests performed to verify the effectiveness of the expansive admixtures. The indoor testing comprised a preparatory test and the main test. The preparatory test assessed the admixtures for their compaction effects, while the main test measured and analyzed the admixtures' expansive force, pressure, and compaction effect with a mold to verify the effectiveness of the compaction effect.

In present paper focused on the influence of the inlet-outlet area ratio of counter flow manifold on the flow distribution and pressure drop characteristics of a tubular heat exchanger. The characteristics of flow distribution and pressure loss can be obtained depending on the inlet-outlet area ratio. In this paper, a tubular heat exchanger can be designed with minimum flow mal-distribution and better characteristic of pressure loss by choosing the optimum inlet-outlet area ratio.

We in this note consider a class of rings which is related to both power-Armendariz and central Armendariz rings, in the spirit of Armendariz and Kaplansky. We introduce central power-Armendariz as a generalization of them, and study the structure of central products of coefficients of zero-dividing polynomials. We also observe various sorts of examples to illuminate the relations between central power-Armendariz and related ring properties.

The authors had treated 45 cases of cleft lip and cleft palate patients including 30 male patients and 15 female patients. There were 41 cases of unilateral cleft lip patients and 4 cases of bilateral cleft lip patients, and 4 cases with together cleft lips and cleft palates among the total 45 cases were showed. We had accomplished that surgical plastic closures of cleft lips and cleft palates had been performed by using of Millara's, Hagedorn's, Meyer's, LeMesurier's and Veau's methods with Z-plasty.

It is well known that tardy ulnar nerve palsy occurs with cubitus valgus deformity as a late complication after a nonunion of lateral condyle fracture of the humerus in childhood. On the other hand, cubitus varus deformity often results from malunion of supracondylar fractures of the humerus. However, reports of tardy ulnar nerve palsy in cubitus varus deformity are few. We report a patient with bilateral cubitus varus deformities with bilateral tardy ulnar nerve palsy which was confirmed with EMG. She was treated by step cut osteotomy(DeRosa and Graziano) with sub­cutaneous anterior transposition of ulnar nerve.

High performance SiGe heterostructure metal-oxide-semiconductor field effect transistors(MOSFETs) were fabricated using well-controlled delta-doping of boron and SiGe/Si heterostructure epitaxal layers grown by reduced pressure chemical vapor deposition. In this paper, we report 1/f noise characteristics of the SiGe MOSFETs measured under various bias conditions of the gate and drain voltages changing in linear operation regions. From the noise spectral density, we found that the gate and drain voltage dependence of the noise represented same features, as usually scaled with $f^1$. However, 1/f noise was found to be much lower in the device with boron delta-doped layer, by a factor of $10^{-1}\sim10^{-2}$ in comparion with the device fabricated without delta-doped layer. 1/f noise property of delta-doped device looks important because the device may replace bipolar transistors most commonly embedded in high-frequency oscillator circuits.
