As a large amount of graph-structured data is widely used in various applications such as social networks, semantic web, and bio-informatics, keyword-based search over graph data has been getting a lot of attention. In this paper, we propose an efficient method for keyword search over graph data to find a set of top-k answers that are relevant as well as non-redundant in structure. We define a non-redundant answer structure for a keyword query and a relevance measure for the answer. We suggest a new indexing scheme on the relevant paths between nodes and keyword terms in the graph, and also propose a query processing algorithm to find top-k non-redundant answers efficiently by exploiting the pre-calculated indexes. We present effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed approach compared to the previous method by conducting an experiment using a real dataset.

Microblogs became popular information delivery ways due to the spread of smart phones. They have the characteristic of reflecting the interests of users more quickly than other medium. Particularly, in case of the subject which attracts many users, microblogs can supply rich information originated from various information sources. Nevertheless, it has been considered as a hard problem to obtain useful information from microblogs because too much noises are in them. So far, various methods are proposed to extract and track some subjects from particular documents, yet these methods do not work effectively in case of microblogs which consist of short phrases. In this paper, we propose a graph-based topic extraction and partitioning method to understand interests of users about a certain keyword. The proposed method contains the process of generating a keyword graph using the co-occurrences of terms in the microblogs, and the process of splitting the graph by using a network partitioning method. When we applied the proposed method on some keywords. our method shows good performance for finding a topic about the keyword and partitioning the topic into sub-topics.
The increasing interests on patents have led many individuals and companies to apply for many patents in various areas. Applied patents are stored in the forms of electronic documents. The search and categorization for these documents are issues of major fields in data mining. Especially, the keyword extraction by which we retrieve the representative keywords is important. Most of techniques for it is based on vector space model. But this model is simply based on frequency of terms in documents, gives them weights based on their frequency and selects the keywords according to the order of weights. However, this model has the limit that it cannot reflect the relations between keywords. This paper proposes the advanced way to extract the more representative keywords by overcoming this limit. In this way, the proposed model firstly prepares the candidate set using the vector model, then makes the graph which represents the relation in the pair of candidate keywords in the set and selects the keywords based on this relationship graph.

As the usage of social network services increases, event information occurring offline is spreading more rapidly. Therefore, studies have been conducted to detect events by analyzing social data. In this paper, we propose a graph based event detection scheme considering user interest in social networks. The proposed scheme constructs a keyword graph by analyzing tweets posted by users. We calculates the interest measure from users' social activities and uses it to identify events by considering changes in interest. Therefore, it is possible to eliminate events that are repeatedly posted without meaning and improve the reliability of the results. We conduct various performance evaluations to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed event detection scheme.

This study aims to review the use of graph databases in construction research. Based on the diagnosis of the current research status, a future research direction is proposed. The use of graph databases in construction research has been increasing because of the efficiency in expressing complex relations between entities in construction big data. However, no study has been conducted to review systematically the status quo of graph databases. This study analyzes 42 papers in total that deployed a graph model and graph database in construction research, both quantitatively and qualitatively. A keyword analysis, topic modeling, and qualitative content analysis were conducted. The review identified the research topics, types of data sources that compose a graph, and the graph database application methods and algorithms. Although the current research is still in a nascent stage, the graph database research has great potential to develop into an advanced stage, fused with artificial intelligence (AI) in the future, based on the active usage trends this study revealed.
Keyword extraction can be utilized in text mining of massive documents for efficient extraction of subject or related words from the document. In this study, we proposed a hierarchical graph model based on the co-occurrence relationship, the intrinsic dependency relationship between words, and common sub-word in a single document. In addition, the enhanced TextRank algorithm that can reflect the influences of outgoing edges as well as those of incoming edges is proposed. Subsequently a novel keyword extraction scheme using the proposed hierarchical graph model and the enhanced TextRank algorithm is proposed to extract representative keywords from a single document. In the experiments, various evaluation methods were applied to the various subject documents in order to verify the accuracy and adaptability of the proposed scheme. As the results, the proposed scheme showed better performance than the previous schemes.
Recently, as graph-structured data is widely used in various fields such as social networks and semantic Webs, needs for an effective and efficient search on a large amount of graph data have been increasing. Previous keyword-based search methods often find results by considering only the relevance to a given query. However, they are likely to produce semantically similar results by selecting answers which have high query relevance but share the same content nodes. To improve the diversity of search results, we propose a top-k search method that finds a set of subtrees which are not only relevant but also diverse in terms of the content nodes by controlling their similarity. We define a criterion for a set of diverse answer trees and design two kinds of diversified top-k search algorithms which are based on incremental enumeration and A⁎ heuristic search, respectively. We also suggest an improvement on the A⁎ search algorithm to enhance its performance. We show by experiments using real data sets that the proposed heuristic search method can find relevant answers with diverse content nodes efficiently.
Most of the information prevailing in the Internet space consists of textual information. So one of the main topics regarding the huge document analyses that are required in the "big data" era is the development of an automated understanding system for textual data; accordingly, the automation of the keyword extraction for text summarization and abstraction is a typical research problem. But the simple listing of a few keywords is insufficient to reveal the complex semantic structures of the general texts. In this paper, a text-visualization method that constructs a graph by computing the related degrees from the selected keywords of the target text is developed; therefore, two construction models that provide the edge relation are proposed for the computing of the relation degree among keywords, as follows: influence-interval model and word- distance model. The finally visualized graph from the keyword-derived edge relation is more flexible and useful for the display of the meaning structure of the target text; furthermore, this abstract graph enables a fast and easy understanding of the target text. The authors' experiment showed that the proposed abstract-graph model is superior to the keyword list for the attainment of a semantic and comparitive understanding of text.
Large-scale ontology management is one of the main issues when using ontology data practically. Although many approaches have been proposed in relational database management systems (RDBMSs) or object-oriented DBMSs (OODBMSs) to develop large-scale ontology management systems, they have several limitations because ontology data structures are intrinsically different from traditional data structures in RDBMSs or OODBMSs. In addition, users have difficulty using ontology data because many terminologies (ontology nodes) in large-scale ontology data match with a given string keyword. Therefore, in this study, we propose a (graph database-based ontology management system (GOMS) to efficiently manage large-scale ontology data. GOMS uses a graph DBMS and provides new query templates to help users find key concepts or instances. Furthermore, to run queries with multiple joins and path conditions efficiently, we propose GOMS encoding as a filtering tool and develop hash-based join processing algorithms in the graph DBMS. Finally, we experimentally show that GOMS can process various types of queries efficiently.

The elder problem is very serious stage in the age of present. This paper carries out scientometric analysis based on keyword that effort of global researcher for this research field as viewpoint of ICT and healthcare in order to settle physical exercise and rehabilitation of elder. First, this paper performs analysis of linkage relation of keyword. Second this paper carries out the analysis of degree distribution and centrality analysis of network based on betweenness centrality, closeness centrality and harmony centrality. Through this process, this paper reviews research trend of present and future through core keyword in the field of ICT and healthcare.
