Vapor explosions can be classified in terms of modes of contact between the hot molten fuel and the coolant, since different contact modes may affect fuel-coolant mixing and subsequent vapor explosion energetics. It is generally accepted that most vapor explosion phenomena fall into three different modes of contact; fuel pouring into coolant, coolant injection into fuel and stratified fuel-coolant layers. In this study, we review previous stratified steam explosion experiments as well as recent experiments performed at the KTH in Sweden. While experiments with prototypic reactor materials are minimal, we do note that generally the energetics is limited for the stratified mode of contact. When the fuel mass involved in a steam explosion in a stratified geometry is compared to a pool geometry based on geometrical aspects, one can conclude that there is a very limited set of conditions (when melt jet diameter is small) under which a steam explosion is more energetic in a stratified geometry. However, under these limited conditions the absolute energetic explosion output would still be small because the total fuel mass involved would be limited.

Action recognition has been studied in computer vision field for years. We present an effective approach to recognize actions using a dimension reduction method, which is applied as a crucial step to reduce the dimensionality of feature descriptors after extracting features. We propose to use sparse matrix and randomized kd-tree to modify it and then propose modified Local Fisher Discriminant Analysis (mLFDA) method which greatly reduces the required memory and accelerate the standard Local Fisher Discriminant Analysis. For feature encoding, we propose a useful encoding method called mix encoding which combines Fisher vector encoding and locality-constrained linear coding to get the final video representations. In order to add more meaningful features to the process of action recognition, the convolutional neural network is utilized and combined with mix encoding to produce the deep network feature. Experimental results show that our algorithm is a competitive method on KTH dataset, HMDB51 dataset and UCF101 dataset when combining all these methods.
In this paper, we propose an array pattern synthesis scheme using semidefinite programming (SDP) under array excitation power constraints. When an array pattern synthesis problem is formulated as an SDP problem, it is known that an additional rank-one constraint is generated inevitably and relaxed via semidefinite relaxation. If the solution to the relaxed SDP problem is not of rank one, then conventional SDP-based array pattern synthesis approaches fail to obtain optimal solutions because the additional rank-one constraint is not handled appropriately. To overcome this drawback, we adopted a bisection technique combined with a penalty function method. Numerical applications are presented to demonstrate the validity of the proposed scheme.
In order to further improve the accuracy and time efficiency of behavior recognition in intelligent monitoring scenarios, a human behavior recognition algorithm based on YOLO combined with LSTM and CNN is proposed. Using the real-time nature of YOLO target detection, firstly, the specific behavior in the surveillance video is detected in real time, and the depth feature extraction is performed after obtaining the target size, location and other information; Then, remove noise data from irrelevant areas in the image; Finally, combined with LSTM modeling and processing time series, the final behavior discrimination is made for the behavior action sequence in the surveillance video. Experiments in the MSR and KTH datasets show that the average recognition rate of each behavior reaches 98.42% and 96.6%, and the average recognition speed reaches 210ms and 220ms. The method in this paper has a good effect on the intelligence behavior recognition.
To determine the effect of temperature and microstructure on the fatigue crack propagation behavior in Ti-3Al-2.5V alloy, experimental investigations have been carried out with the specimens of different temperatures and different volume fractions of prime $\alpha$-phase. The temperatures employed were room temperature, 20$0^{\circ}C$, 30$0^{\circ}C$ and 40$0^{\circ}C$ under the same frequency of 20Hz. To obtain the different volume fractions of the primary $\alpha$-phase, specimens were solution-treated at $\alpha$+$\beta$ and above the $\beta$ region. From the experimental results, following conclusions were obtained. (1) ΔKth was observed to increase with the less volume fraction of the primary $\alpha$-phase. (2) As the temperature increased. (3) Microstructures having more primary $\alpha$-phase showed higher strength at the high temperatures.
This study made an experiment On fatigue crack propagation da/dn, stress intensity factor range ${\Delta}K$ respectively in room temperature and in low temperature. And we got the following characteristics from fatigue crack growth test carried Out in the environment of room temperature and law temperature at $25^{\circ}C$, $-60^{\circ}C$, $-80^{\circ}C$, and $-100^{\circ}C$ in the range of stress ratio of 0.3 by means of opening made displacement. The threshold stress intensity factor range ${\Delta}Kth$ in the early stage of fatigue crack growth (Mode I) and stress intensity factor range ${\Delta}K$ in the stable of fatigue crack growth (Made II) was decreased in proportion to descend temperature. It assumed that the fatigue resistance characteristics and fracture strength at law temperature and high temperature is considerable higher than that of room temperature in the early stage and stable of fatigue crack growth region.
Antifatigue failure technology take an important part of current industries. Currently, the shot peening is used for removing the defect from the surface of steel and improving the fatigue strength on surface. Therefore, this paper the effect of compressive residual stress and corrosion of spring steel(SAE 5155)by shot-peening on fatigue crack growth characteristics in stress ratio(R=0.05)was investigated with considering fracture mechanics. By using the methods mentioned above, We arrived at the following conclusions. The fatigue crack growth rate(da/dN) of the shot-peening material was lower than that of the un-peening material. And in stage I, ${\Delta}Kth$, the threshold stress intensity factor, of the shot-peen processed material is high in critical parts unlike the un-peening material. Also m, fatigue crack growth exponent and number of cycle of the shot-peening material was higher than that of the un-peening material. That is concluded from effect of da/dN. Finally fracture of shot-peening material and un-peening material was identified and discussed in this study.
In this study, CT specimens were prepared from spring steel(SUP9) processed shot peening which was room temperature, high temperature experiment. And ire got the following characteristics from fatigue crack growth test carried out in the environment of room, and high temperature at $25^{\circ}C,\;100^{\circ}C,\;150^{\circ}C$ and $180^{\circ}C$ in the range of stress ratio of 0.3 by means of opening mode displacement. The threshold stress intensity factor range ${\Delta}Kth$ in the early stage of fatigue crack growth (Region I) and stress intensity (actor range ${\Delta}K$ in the stable of fatigue crack growth (Region II) was decreased in proportion to descend temperature. It assumed that the fatigue resistance characteristics and fracture strength at high temperature is considerable higher than that of room temperature in the early stage and stable of fatigue crack growth region.

Human action recognition has become an important research topic in computer vision area recently due to many applications in the real world, such as video surveillance, video retrieval, video analysis, and human-computer interaction. The goal of this paper is to evaluate descriptors which have recently been used in action recognition, namely Histogram of Oriented Gradient (HOG) and Histogram of Optical Flow (HOF). This paper also proposes new descriptors to represent the change of points within each part of a human body, caused by actions named as Histogram of Changing Points (HCP) and so-called Average Speed (AS) which measures the average speed of actions. The descriptors are combined to build a strong descriptor to represent human actions by modeling the information about appearance, local motion, and changes on each part of the body, as well as motion speed. The effectiveness of these new descriptors is evaluated in the experiments on KTH and Hollywood datasets.
In a given text T of size n, we need to search for the information that we are interested. In order to support fast searching, an index must be constructed by preprocessing the text. Suffix array is a kind of index data structure. The compressed suffix array (CSA) is one of the compressed indices based on the regularity of the suffix array, and can be compressed to the $k^{th}$ order empirical entropy. In this paper we improve the lookup time complexity of the compressed suffix array by using the multi-ary wavelet tree at the cost of more space. In our implementation, the lookup time complexity of the compressed suffix array is O(${\log}_{\sigma}^{\varepsilon/(1-{\varepsilon})}\;n\;{\log}_r\;\sigma$), and the space of the compressed suffix array is ${\varepsilon}^{-1}\;nH_k(T)+O(n\;{\log}\;{\log}\;n/{\log}^{\varepsilon}_{\sigma}\;n)$ bits, where a is the size of alphabet, $H_k$ is the kth order empirical entropy r is the branching factor of the multi-ary wavelet tree such that $2{\leq}r{\leq}\sqrt{n}$ and $r{\leq}O({\log}^{1-{\varepsilon}}_{\sigma}\;n)$ and 0 < $\varepsilon$ < 1/2 is a constant.
