본 연구는 국내 의학사서 역량 강화를 위한 KMLA의 지원 프로그램 개선 방안을 제언하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 전문직협회의 역할 조사 후, 공통된 역할 추출 및 이를 5개 영역으로 범주화한 후 MLA와 KMLA의 지원 프로그램을 비교·분석하였다. 결과 KMLA의 지원 프로그램 개선 방안으로 여섯 가지를 제언할 수 있다. 첫째, 의학사서를 공식적·지속적으로 지원하기 위한 정책개발이 필요하다. 둘째, (계속)교육 및 훈련 프로그램 영역에서 의학 분야에서 필요한 전문적인 영역의 교육적 지원이 필요하며 IRB 위원회 역할을 위한 교육도 필요하다. 셋째, 연구 및 출판 지원에 있어서 연구비 및 연수프로그램에 대한 다양한 지원이 요구된다. 넷째, 네트워크 및 협력 지원에 있어서 멘토링, 리더십·펠로우십 프로그램 지원이 필요하며 국내·외 파트너십에 대한 개선과 다양한 수상 지원도 계획도 필요하다. 다섯째, 전문자격증 및 각종 인증서 제도에 있어서 관련 분야의 학위 취득 지원, 다양한 강좌 지원을 통한 인증서 발급 등이 필요하다. 여섯째, 기부금 유치를 위한 KMLA의 적극적인 대내외적 홍보 및 활동이 수행되어야 할 것이다.

We present a study of citizen science performed at Korean Minjok Leadership Academy (KMLA). The importance of citizen involvements in scientific studies has been increasing, with remarkable results and performances. For instance, the discovery of an impact scar near Jupiter's south polar region (A. Wesley, 2009) led to an international campaign of professional observations to understand the asteroidal collision responsible for the scar. Citizen science at KMLA has been and will be mainly conducted by members of the astronomical observation club 'Apple-Pie' through amateur telescopes. Members of 'Apple-Pie' are specialized in various fields related to astronomy, from planetary science to cosmology. The spectrum not only includes fields that are directly related to astronomy but also fields such as computer science and astrophotography. The scheduled construction of a new observatory will further enable students to participate in higher level projects such as planetary monitoring over long timescales and the observation and detection of solar system bodies and exoplanets. In addition, a new supervisor with expertise and research experience in galactic astronomy, planetary science, and meteorology has joined the school faculty. He will supplement students with fundamental theoretical backgrounds and essential research techniques to enhance astronomical research at KMLA. KMLA's ultimate goal is to deploy a remote-controlled observatory available to aspiring scientists around the world to create a network of citizen science system. The prime observational conditions of KMLA and the willingness of the students and faculty members will provide a competitive edge for KMLA over other similar institutes in Korea.

본 연구는 국내 의학도서관 이용자 서비스 향상을 위하여 의학사서의 교육프로그램 개선방안을 제시하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 의학사서 역할을 조사하여 교육영역을 항목화한 후 미국의 MLA와 한국의 KMLA 교육프로그램을 비교·분석하였다. 그 결과, 우리나라 의학사서 교육프로그램에 대한 개선점으로 첫째, 다양한 교육프로그램 유형, 교육영역, 교육내용, 전문 분야를 선정한 인증 프로그램의 확대, 관련 기관과의 협업 프로그램, KMLA 가치를 표방하는 교육프로그램 등이 요구된다. 둘째, 현행 교육영역 중 '연구지원서비스', '교육·교육설계·상담' 등에서 다양한 교육프로그램이 진행될 필요성이 있으며 특히, 전혀 교육이 이루어지고 있지 않은 '소비자건강정보서비스', '재난정보서비스' 제공이 필요하다. 또한 '의학 관련 분야 정보서비스' 교육을 위해서는 국내 의학사서 교육 커리큘럼에 관한 규정 제정이 선행되어야 할 필요성이 있다. 셋째, 대면 교육 참여가 어려운 사서를 위하여 온라인 교육내용 제공이 필요한데 이러한 경우에는 교육내용만 제공하고 의학사서점수 부여에는 차등을 두거나 점수를 부여하지 않는 방법 등을 제시하였다.

In this paper, we present a real-time physical simulation model of water surfaces with a novel method to represent the water mass flow in full three dimensions. In a physical simulation model, the state of the water surfaces is represented by a set of physical values, including height, velocity, and the gradient. The evolution of the velocity field in previous works is handled by a velocity solver based on the Navier-Stokes equations, which occurs as a result of the unevenness of the velocity propagation. In this paper, we integrate the principle of the mass conservation in a fluid of equilateral density to upgrade the height field from the unevenness, which in mathematical terms can be represented by the divergence operator. Thus the model generates waves induced by horizontal velocity, offering a simulation that puts forces added in all direction into account when calculating the values for height and velocity for the next frame. Other effects such as reflection off the boundaries, and interactions with floating objects are involved in our method. The implementation of our method demonstrates to run with fast speed scalable to real-time rates even for large simulation domains. Therefore, our model is appropriate for a real-time and large scale water surface simulation into which the animator wishes to visualize the global fluid flow as a main emphasis.

본 연구는 한국의학도서관협의회 소속의 대학 및 병원도서관을 대상으로 웹사이트 구축현황을 살펴보고, 나아가 웹사이트를 운영하고 있는 국내 29개 의과대학도서관 웹사이트의 메뉴구성과 콘텐츠를 비교, 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 의학도서관 웹사이트의 메인메뉴는 소장자료검색, 전자정보원, 도서관서비스, My Library, 도서관안내, 게시판의 6개로 정리된다. 둘째, 의학도서관 웹사이트에서 제공하는 주요 정보서비스는 '자관 Pubmed, 원문복사/상호대차, 정보검색, 이용교육, 논문작성지원, SDI서비스, 모바일서비스, 학위논문제출, 참고정보원, 교외접속, 주제별서비스, 인용정보분석, 대출예약/연기, 희망도서신청, Q&A게시판'의 15가지이다. 셋째, 가장 많은 기관에서 제공하고 있는 정보서비스는 원문복사/상호대차이며, 다음은 '대출예약/연기, 희망도서신청, 교외접속, 이용교육, 참고정보원, Q&A게시판, 자관 Pubmed, 학위논문제출' 등의 순이다.
